tit: No need to kill anybody. Let Fulani go back to their village and 99% of the trouble is over.
If they say they don't have village, let them carry their cow to do open grazing in America. The grass is sweet for that side. You no dey see as America cow dey hefty?
We can pack all Fulani and their cow into one giant oil tanker ship, and off they go to America.
No ooo. America police will not shot them. Once they see the cow, they will turn to Tiv munchi Is this a joke? When the chaos start, nothing will be funny, people are killing innocent Nigerians and you say no need to kill them...take your lame joke elsewhere. |

I hope this has already been done. In light of security challenges, state governors must stop stealing state funds for their political parties, and chanel the funds, for internal security of the state. Equip tactical teams with plated bullet proof vests, head bullet proof wear, and give them automatic weapons, AK 49 etc... |

kingthreat: This view is very extreme. But for now, this is what the society needs. Kill them all. Public execution style. Let army cadets test their shooting skills. I use to witness these in those good ole days at the beach, young lads will be allowed to witness, this will instill a level of restraint in youths that love the criminal life...we live in critical times, people perish without vision. We think we are being wise, but it is foolishness and weakness to allow killers overrun the country. Our constitution clearly indicate death penalty for armed robbery and murder, there is a reason for this. |

The signs are clear, government inability or inaction about the desperate security situations around the country, will make people seek self help. Different militias will rise to protect themselves and clans, this will lead to revenge attacks, vandetta, and lots of infighting, over time the military will be stretched. FG must order the military and police commands and all governors, as a national security policy to carry out executions of confirmed killers and bandits/kidnappers. Reduction of their numbers is what the government must focus on now, locking them up is not working as their members will break the jail. We still have a little time. Do not value the life of a evil killer over yours. Annihilation policy is required now. |

nextstep: Sad to say, [s]but remember how UK supported Biafra during the war?[/s] Sorry I mean, actively worked with the Nigerian government to massacre then starve our people? What makes you think UK give a rats ass when it will come to brass tacks?
UK is just gassing us up. If we're foolish enough to assume what their saying mounts to any kind of support for Biafra, we have not learned our lesson yet. What we should be doing is quietly securing arms, building alliances within and without, preparing blockades to prevent oil from reaching other parts of Nigeria - no fuel, no Nigerian military capability. All this happiness over the report from a hypocritical UK government... las las na scam. How you want to place blockade...invade port harcourt, occupy it...how long you think your soldiers can hold these positions? I don't think Nigerian military will tolerate that. |

baba4thegehs: I really hope this day comes to pass.
But my fear is the current people and leaders are not as visionary and foresighted as Ojukwu, it's a an extreme and unimaginable endeavor to request for a sovereign state and not have like a concrete plans in plans in place to move the state and the people forward.
It's scary.
But I think Nigeria in itself cannot make progress unless there is a division. The federal system has failed for so many years I think its time to explore other systems.
Goodluck. They will be a lot of infighting and chaos, everyone will be raising militias, cos violence is the way to power. The vandetta will not stop. |

NikAustine: How will they lose? If they declare war on Nigeria I doubt they will. now is not 1967 and I'm sure Britain won't be supporting Nigeria this time... Besides Igbos are in powerful positions round the world and they're very rich.. they can sponsor a war against the Nigeria state and you know a war in the SE won't be good for Nigeria cause the SE don't only border the SS but they're Igbos in the SS to that wilp attack oil installations etc thereby crumbling Nigeria Economy more than it already is now. I urge Nigeria govt to come to a round table and talk to this people.. Nigeria will not survive a second civil war and you should be sure a war in the SE will give the militants in the Niger delta opportunities to blow installations.
Besides I doubt the UN will want a war in Nigeria ( Refugees shit)... they will quickly come and divide/ give a Referrrndum to the Igbos and those Igbos in the SS to form their own problems. Please don't support the govt on this road they want to take..it won't bold well for Nigeria. our economy is already in shambles...we are fighting Boko Haram...Herdsmen..don't you think it that period they will come out really well and ODUDuWa m surre will also use that opportunity to secede too...End of Nigeria. You wish |

eduj: there are no police checkpoints in the East today, military checkpoints are few and are in areas that aren't secluded and has sizeable population. for instance, from aba-owerri as of now,you will see only 2 military checkpoints-1 at the imo bridge and another near close to barracks at osisioma .Even many military men now wear masks on duty and policemen go to work on mufti. point is that in this type of confrontation UGM adopts, they hold the initiative and our security setup is totally confused on how to handle it .Arresting peeps isn't the way to go rather it just ensures UGM gets more sympathisers and recruits. Buhari should make a deliberate effort to make the East seem wanted and not this show of force. A military confrontation in the East will spell the doom of Nigeria no matter who wins Of course, military is to secure the larger population, ESN is hiding in bushes. |
