The Nigerian Police IG must as a security urgency and necessity, bring back police checkpoints, members of other paramilitary or military units can be with them as back up force. The most professional of their set must be selected, their job is to look for weapons and the bad guys, they should not harass legitimate citizens. There need to be heavy security presence on our roads. Now is the time to use the Nation's revenue as economically as never before. Governors, local government chairman, Ministers and appointed chairmen of commissions. Wake up, do not let greed make you sacrifice the well being of your people, this is an existential threat, we need to push these foreign invaders back. This is the time for patriotism, for this is the country we call ours, terrorists do not know anyone, they are fighting their own cause, but we all collectively have an interest of surviving and thriving in this geographical space. Only patriots. |

Why is our military holding back, when they have declared war on us...why are we fraternizing with the enemy openly. Gumi is the one that boosted the terrorists morale and emboldened them, he legitimized them, and this is dangerous, as it will encourage Northern Almajiri youths to join, when they see a respected Cleric like Gumi fraternizing with terrorists. Personally I think, since the inception of democracy, our Senate and house of reos are not really doing much for Nigerians, they have not contributed one bill to better the lives of Nigerians, or to make Nigeria safer. It is time we open our eyes and save revenue, let us disband one of the house, and utilize the money used in catering for them to do better things. We are a debt ridden country, we must cut cost.
some nations went this route to cut cost. |
