The dollar being the worlds reserve currency is to America's advantage, this was imposed on us.

The truth is that USA did not force anyone to use her currency. Dollar is not a currency that requires permission of other countries before it can be printed. It US currency and it it's subject to whatever Federal Reserve want it to be subjected to. It's their property and rightly so.

Of course, it is to their advantage that the entire world is using their currency. But it doesn't mean that they are creating artificial wealth. No country would dare throw away economic principles and laws without facing the consequences sooner or later.

Say what you know, US government prints currency anyhow and whenever they want, they impose these policies on us via IMF, and WTO...yes the dollar was imposed on us as the benchmark currency for international trade....after the second world war, there was a new world order, read history, they imposed these policies...trade liberalisation, globalisation etc cos they already have the advantage...ask yourself, why we never get interest for our foreign reserve stashed with the IMF/World bank owned by America. Exactly, other countries do this in desperate times as well, the West in particular... During world war2, and the great depression, they resorted to desperate measures to save their people and economy. Economic principles and agreements are made for man, not the other way round, Africa, Nigeria must free itself from the shackles of IMF and World bank, lets start by enacting economic/monetary policies that serve the people, by empowering Nigerians, we are creating more prosperity for our nation. Why do you think the west always pays its citizens, and gives them all sort of allowances and payments, its because they understand this principle. At present American reserve bank rate is at 0%, they are issuing intetrest free loans to stimulate their economy and create more prosperity for the greatest number, this is the work of government. We need to start printing all our currencies in Nigeria, this will also save a lot of costs.

God needs your money! Because he won't come down from heaven to collect it doesn't mean we should give him what's duly His. There are a whole lot of things that goes into running a church or being a pastor. There are lots of missionary works and pastors these men people sponsor and contribute to. Because they don't get to talk about it often doesn't mean they are scam. Most pastors are on full time and they have families too. How do you expect them to feed their families, cater for the spiritual and sometimes physical well being of their members.

However, I do know there are other churches whose pastors feed large at the expense of their members. And there are churches that the pastor in charge are not even aware of the money in the church's purse other than the monthly allowance given to him. In addition, most of them pay back tithe too.

While some get all these things as gifts as well.

For me, I know how my pastor is living and I've seen him going the extra mile because of his members. If he buys a jeep tomorrow, I don't think I have the right to question where he gets the money to buy. That's between him and God, not me.

I really don't know much about tithing from the Islam point of view, but I do know they do zakat(I might be wrong tho), which I don't know if it counts as tithe.

what they do is give to the needy around them, they are no offering baskets or tithe boxes, giving to the needy is more effective both spiritually and socially. There is no commandment to pay tithe, it was an instruction, and obligation for a specific time and people, read the verses fully, you will see the reason these people were being maintained via tithes, it does not apply to these men posing themselves as whatever, that is why Jesus did not put much emphasis on tithing, even when asked about it, he said its not as important as loving your God, and your neighbour as yourself, that poor single mom is a neighbour, showing love to her is more important to Jesus, the Christian saviour.
