A group, Autochthonous Persons of Jos (APJ), has condemned Governor Simon Lalong’s appointment of a non-indigene and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Shehu Bala, as the management committee chairman for Jos North Council Area.
Spokesperson for the APJ, Theresa Azi Nyako, at a press briefing on Tuesday, said, “We want to state in clear, unmistakable and unambiguous terms that we reject and condemn the suppression of our franchise in Jos North local government among others.
“The imposition of a non-indigene who also doubles as the APC candidate during the pendency elections completely rubbishes global best democratic practices, it is illegal, unlawful and unconstitutional.
“It is a great disservice to our people in particular and indeed Plateau State in general as it has the capability to breach peace in the tin city. It makes a mockery of Governor Lalong’s pillars of his purported three-point agenda.”

Robbers have broken into Royal an Air Maroc aircraft at the international wing of Lagos airport.

The aircraft coming from Rabat, Morocco, having landed successfully at the Lagos airport was attacked by unknown assailants while taxiing to the Tamarac.

The assailants were said to have forced opened the cargo hold of the aircraft and dispossessed their victims of their luggage.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed the attack on an aircraft belonging to Royal Air Maroc aircraft at the international wing of Lagos airport after it landed successfully at the Lagos Airport.

As gathered, the unknown assailants forced opened the cargo hold of the aircraft and made away with some items belonging to the passengers onboard the flight.

Reacting to the attack, the FAAN spokesperson, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, confirmed that the Royal Air Maroc flight with registration number CN – ROR landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at about 0404hours on October 11, 2019, with its baggage cabin door open

today was a very hilarious day,I got a call from my Catholic priest friend that has massive earth fish ponds along the aghjo river that something big is dragging their net in one of the ponds,I went with my workers and several heartless hunters I know that will not flinch from any creature,we reached and tied the net to back of a Tacoma truck and dragged it out,lo and behold a big aggressive crocodile rush out and lashed out at anything in sight,my brother see as everybody run pass usaln bolt,even hunters,priest,etc,jump inside pickup back.pls any animal rights activists should know that when a vicious animal crosses from it's natural habitat and start destroying farms and attacking people that animal belongs to the pepper soup pot.
