Seun you be ashamed of yourself for this comment, some of you guys are overrated. I'm sure you're buying a kg of gas 850 now!
seunmsg: The problem is not even the organized Labour but Joe Ajaero who is a member of the opposition Labour Party. He’s the one using Labour to play opposition politics.
TUC made it clear they are not part of the recently flopped nationwide strike and protest because it was absolutely unnecessary since all the demands have been met.
The good thing about President Bola Tinubu is that he won’t shy away from a fight. Ajaero and his gang of Obidient supporters have been giving a long rope to pull and it’s time to call their bluff. They have now been warned. Respect yourself and allow the government to face governance in peace or face the consequences. If you want power, wait and contest in 2027. Enough of the disruption.
I'm not an Igbo man, but my advise to those Igbo folks, don't go to the proposed location to develop it for them, tomorrow, one idiot will raise up his ugly head and say it's a residential or farming area....be wise niggas.....lazy Buffon's waiting for developers.
If you like change name a million times, my advice for you is, the earlier you start living a life free of delusion and sentiments, the better for your mental health. Because like this, I doubt if you're stable to think rationally.
CodeTemplar: Before tinubu entered, we paid 0.5 USD official rate per litre and we are paying just around that 0.5 USD right now.
The only real policy change as it stands now is floating of Naira which we virtually all agreed on.
The complains and focus on Tinubu are largely inspired by political fortune of those rigged out.
Just imagine your area of analysis/comparison, to tag you myopic is to say the least. Neutral businessmen doing business across all length of the country has become kano 2, Lagos 1.....Ode
kettykin: This is even considering the fact that he only joined the list, so kano 2 , Lagos 1. Not a bad score
Wike said we'll soon know who's in charge, I pity Governor SIM....I hope he survives this oppression, however, the system must know that they're breeding a monster outta the Governor, hope Martins and Co will be able handle the wrath of the monster when it explodes!
These two products are fully deregulated that's why they started with it so they can play around the pricing without government interference or interrogation, very smart move to earn higher returns.
GOFRONT: In Nigeria, we consume more PMS than AGO and Jet fuel.
We need more PMS trucks driving out of the truck loading gantries of Dangote refinery..
Odewaleadesoye: A 20-year-old housewife, Lubabatu Yusuf, has narrated how one Sani Saleh Mu’azu, a Deputy Superintendent of the Nigerian Immigration Service, who happens to be her husband’s benefactor, allegedly raped her in the presence of her two children.
Recounting her ordeal to journalists in Bauchi on Monday, Lubabatu said the incident occurred when Mu’azu visited their residence on December 9, 2023.
According to the victim, her husband reported the incident, leading to Mu’azu’s arrest, but he was later granted bail.
The victim lamented that since her alleged rape, the police have failed to investigate her complaint but have arrested and detained her husband for alleged defamation of the suspect.
She explained that she and her family have been traumatized by the rape incident and the arrest of her husband.
The woman said,
The traumatised victim, whose husband is still in police custody, expressed regret that three weeks after she petitioned the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, nothing had been done.
Lubabatu said further that she couldn’t define the exact relationship between Muazu and her husband. She said her husband did not give her details.
She recalled that her husband had a thriving transport business in Kaduna before he met Muazu whom he introduced as an ‘uncle’ and the family saw him as a father figure.
The victim asserted that Mu’azu later lured them to Bauchi with promises of a better life.
According to her, shortly after relocating to Bauchi, her husband’s business collapsed and the family experienced financial hardship forcing them to withdraw their children from school.
Speaking on the development, Founder of African Child Development and Human Rights Protection, a human right organisation, Alkassim Muhammad, expressed disappointment that the police had failed to investigate the complaint of rape brought by the victim and instead arrested her husband.
Akassim recalled that he wrote a petition, dated December 22, 2023, on behalf of the victim, calling on the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Auwal Mohammed, to re-arrest the Deputy Superintendent of Immigration and properly investigate the allegation, as rape is crime that must be not be treated with levity.
Alkassim vowed that the African Child Development and Human Rights Protection will take every legal action to ensure that Lubabatu secures justice in the court of law.
When contacted by DAILY POST, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Bauchi Command, Ahmed Wakil, explained that the victim’s husband, Yusuf, was arrested following a complaint of defamation and other charges.
But Wakil said he could not confirm whether the petition letter addressed to the Commissioner of Police by African Child Development and Human Rights Protection had been received.
He, however, disclosed that the police were investigating the incident.
When contacted by DAILY POST, the accused Immigration Officer, Sani Sale Muazu, denied all the allegations.
He told DailyPost in a phone interview that the allegation is a calculated attempt to dent his name and destroy his career.
However, he added that he would not comment further on the allegation since the issue is being investigated.
Very disgusting write up, how can an institution claiming to uphold integrity at it highest standard, already taking stand on a matter they clearly state they're yet to investigate, the rot in the system is just too much. They can't just remain neutral in an ordinary statement.
Richtaiwo: Some expressions in this report already showing bias.
Because if there's one election that the governor actually won, it's kano election, both red cap, PDP, APC and LP knew NNPP won, there's no need throwing the state into jeopardy because of selfish interest. You can stop seeking undue attention at this point.
INTEGRITYA1: One good thing about the judgement is that, nobody is shouting "Democracy is under threat"
Won't glorify you with insult, however, we await to see the part of the report that clearly state that he gained undue financial advantage from the proceed or returns of those transaction or the transaction itself. Emefiele is not a saint, no doubt, but clearly misrepresenting facts is wrong Oga bigger Dunce.
jaybee3: You are actually the dunce for not knowing compliance issues is intertwined with fraud.
If you understand the dynamics of a fraud triangle of which opportunity is a key element, circumventing policies and procedures is often done to gain advantage of the system
God bless you for the is comment, those who understand FR{Financial Reporting} knows that this report only raised issues of compliance with laid down procedure, and not fingering Godwin investing those funds in his personal name. Nairaland actually shows the level of illiteracy we have in our country, and that's the reason we're where we are as a country today.
NaijaCowFarm: You guys should keep deceiving yourselves. Did Emefiele open any account in the name of GODWIN EMEFIELE? Did he collect interest in any account in his name or did he hedge against currency depreciation?
You guys didn't see this coming right? If BAT had followed Fashola in Wike's manner would Lagos had seen the level of development she enjoyed during Fashola's tenure?
INEC will conduct election for their seats and development/peace will continue in Rivers State.
FreeStuffsNG: What a tragic way to end the year, 4 is now bigger than 27. Smh.
In just less than 3 months he got into office, Fubara started fighting his political benefactor. Less than 3 months out of 4 years o!
Daft is an understatement to describe your reasoning, trying so hard sell foolish propaganda after been hit by unimaginable abysmal performance your government....lolz, work harder.
FreeStuffsNG: He actually created the problem by mopping and destroying significant amounts of the old notes
You go cry tire, una think say na only una dey ment abi....? Una go hear this one.
CilicMarin: Court can't stop a House of Assembly from performing its constitutional duties...The court is overreaction itself..
I expect the authentic speaker and honourable members to ignore this useless order and continue to perform its duty to the good people of Rivers State ...
Unfortunately, it's the government that's already counting her losses, the ultimate end of any business struggle is for the government benefit, just so you know small boy...do you know how much the government is losing already from it agencies being shutdown? Mumu....you have the guts to an established organization mummntous when you're still roaming the street with CV
Ola9ja23: By Thursday the mumunotus industries that closed down for Ajaero would start counting their loss 😂😂🤣🤣😂
They think Asiwaju get their time 😂😂😂🤣
If they like they should add more days to IPOBidients Monday sit at home 🤣😂🤣🤣
Face the thrust of the subject and stop whining mouth like undone beans.....the fact is obviously stated in his comment. This goes to show how the judiciary has so ridicule themselves, soon the common on the street won't be respecting court judgement, and that will bring about serious anarchy on the street, all thanks to Buhari, Tinubu, and shameless supporters of impunity like you.
FreeStuffsNG: Dey play. Smh. The late Intelligent and militant Comrade Akele did more than you but by the time superior governance prevailed under Asiwaju Tinubu, he was sacked and the rest is history. One thing is settled, this is an unlawful Labour Party strike and they will still lule pii.
He and Ajaero can be charged for contempt of court even after his tenure as head of an affiliate of Labour Party. I hope he will narrate this his whataboutisms to the courts by then. Check my signature for free stuffs!
