wetu: The signs are: When you imitate his accent, hairstyle, dress code and so on, When you call him "Pastor" instead of "Pastor X" even when talking to people not from your church. When everything you say starts with "Pastor says". When you refuse to acknowldge what the Bible says because "Pastor says" When you have to ask Pastor everything When only Pastor can pray for you and Pastor has to pray for you for everything
We can mention all those things but at the end of the day, idolatry is a matter of the heart and the sad thing is that those caught up in this sin are often oblivious to the truth because of the rebellious spirit that comes with idolatry.
hmmm oh yesss true true!!!, most christians are spiritually lazy, so the Pastors are having a ball which too much adoration and worship!!!
Oh yes i like this thread, it needs to be addressed. There is too much "Man worship" in Nigerian churches,
But the truth be told is that, most of these Pastors do not trully desire for there members to grow spiritually in order for them to be responsible for them-selfs,
cap28: bros thank you jare!!! white people are very intellectually astute people, they are always on a permanent quest for knowledge, you have to give that to them, thats why they have been at the top of the food chain for so long, you know the first time this video clip was posted on youtube it received over 400,000 views and the majority of comments made were very positive and made by americans from all walks of life - contrast that with the negativity being spewed on this thread!!!
Bro thanks for your support, the fact that there are people like you and isale gan out there fills me with hope.
did you have a listeen to the audio clip i posted from webster tarpley's website - listen to it - its very informative - it gives hourly updates on the libya situation. Tarpley is the best.
I am saving the Webster tarpley audio to my hard-drive,
Wiscousin has woken alot of white-americans up to know that the Elite in America do not give a damm about them, it all about power and more control,
Sweet T: Well it's a big question. No stranger is getting into my at that time of the night. Questions surrounding this man's death is very troubling. I drove by the 3400 block of West Illinois Avenue in Dallas where the guy was shot yesterday, the name of the Shopping Complex is "fiesta Shopping Complex" and the place is very Ghetto even though there were some schools nearby. The man lives in Arlington,Texas and came to Dallas,Texas (about 30 min. drive apart) at that time of the night to allow a girl to get in his car? Very Sad indeed.
Its very sad, Its just a BIG NO NO! picking up people you dont know and it appears he came out of the Grocery store with her and she entered his car.
Even in Nigeria that not going to happen. I was in Lagos late last year and ladies were trying to flag down my cousin car when coming out of shops or in go slows. My cousin speeded off like they were Thieves! lol!
cap28: very good points - the AU is powerless and can not challenge any western nation let alone the US controlled UN, what is happening in libya now sets a very dangerous precedent as it means that america along with its other collaborators can now safely invade a sovereign nation under any pretext they decide to cook up at any given time, i said in an earlier post that nigeria should watch her back as they might be next, the oil and gas contracts that america and europe negotiated with gadaffi were made on terms which were not very favourable to their oil companies, i wonder what the current situation is in nigeria with regard to oil and gas contracts because if the nigerian govt are getting a bigger cut out of it than the west are willing to tolerate and if the incomign govt refuses to redress this in favour of the west , nigeria might be destined for the next round of revolutions/bombing campaigns/ regime change or whatever they want to term it.
Goodpoint CAP28, but with regards to Nigeria that may be a "Bridge to far" for US/NATO, the lie may be too obvious and it would be risky for US/NATO to bomb/invade a Black African country, the biggest one for that matter. And would the top African-American Military Brass buy into it??
The Somalian mis-adventure is a warning to them, and they know they would find it hard to pull off,
cap28: Aha therein lies the bone of contention - you are jealous that Farrakhan desires to wield power and influence like the white man - obviously in your warped mind you feel only white men deserve to do so, Farrakhan is a leader, a man who is not afraid to stand up and speak the truth , a teacher and a courageous man - therefore he has earned the right to wield power and influence - why dont you question why the US govt is monopolised by white millionaire elitists who regard people like you as sub human, why dont you question why these people are only interested in championing the causes of billionaire oligarchs and banking cartels - i would advise you to focus on your real enemy rather than attacking farrakhan - be gone.
CAP28 LOL! Why do these guys keep on challenging facts and proofs! Anyway its sometimes good to knowm that we still have alot of brain-washed people online lol,

aloy-emeka: You don't know what happened because you were not there. The deceased may have been a victim of violent crime and it happens all the time. No need coming here to make unnecessary comments based on assumption. It is cold and uncalled for.
Dude! come on now, i not assuming anything, but i aiight getting into my car from a Grocery Store at 9.15pm and allowing a teenager too who i probably dont know get in with me!!! Why? Why? Why?
Please tell me why?
Or had she put a gun to his head before entering the vehicle?
And he has only been in the country for a short while?
Bruv, we all know that we dont allow strangers to get into our cars in broad day-light or at Night Abroad. That also applies to Nigeria unless you have come to a form of understanding with the individual prior to entering the vehicle,
Sunday Tribune learnt that an 18 year old Dallas woman, Rayshell Cooks, is now facing murder charge in the death of Sodeinde.
Witnesses told police that Cooks got into Sodeinde's car at an east Oak Cliff grocery store in the night. They then saw the car come to an abrupt halt soon after it left the parking lot and Cooks jumped out.
Homicide detectives interviewed Cooks, but she had little to say about the crime. Sodeinde, 45, was shot in the head about 9:15 p.m. in the 3400 block of Illinois Avenue, west of Interstate 45.
The suspect ran away but was later arrested, police said.
Bastage: Don't be so lazy. Use Google and you will find plenty of clips.
But you don't need to. I already told you that Gadaffi's son admitted that troops fired on unarmed protestors. Do you understand that? He did that on national Libyan TV. If he admitted that his troops shot unarmed protestors, it's futile you protesting that it didn't happen.
O.k He said he shoot at them and the Bharanians shoot at theirs, so why should they be bombed and the Bharanians are not, or is it becuase the Bharanians are already in the USA Pocket as they have a military base there!
Bastage: DeeJay20. And just who are the French, the Spanish and the Italians? Do you think that the US and UK would go to war on their behalf? You have no clue.
Dude
Eni - Italian
Total - French
Repsol YPF - Spanish
The countries i mentioned above are Heavily dependant on Libyan Crude (about 40% of there import), thats why Sarkozy was pushing for the No-Fly zone and calling on NATO to intervene. The French and the Italians were the most vocal.
The USA/UK stand to gain from removing Ghadafi which is more of a "want/desire" but in the case of France,Italy and Spain its a "need" with a CAPITAL "N", but they are more concerned with stability ie no disruption in the present flow of energy to them,
And in the case of not having a clue, i guess your previous post have shown that lol!
Bastage: What infrastucture is being bombed? The airstrikes have only hit military targets.
Oil is not a factor. As I have repeatedly pointed out, the West obtains minimal amount of oil from Libya and they already have drilling deals balanced in their favour.
The West stands to lose financially if the rebels take power. The claim that this is about oil is not well thought through as Gaddafi has already given the oil rights to the West at a cheaper price than they will have to pay if he is deposed.
Please note bolded comments above,
I can see you are "ignorant" concerning libya Oil & Gas Industry and i can also see you are very Naive of the End Game being pursued in this North African country by the EU/NATO/USA,
Oil is not a factor huh? lol go and tell that to the French & Italians, Spanish that depend heavily on Libyan Oil & Gas,
If the West stands to lose by backing the rebels then why are they supporting them via the media and Political Sound-Bites/Statements & arming them lol!!!
U have just shoot yourself in the foot., please do not comment any further as you are likely to sustain more " Poster Credibility wounds"
This “humanitarian” gesture also serves as a useful distraction for leaders like Sarkozy, whose approval rating has dwindled significantly in recent times; Berlusconi, who is occupied with sex-related charges in an Italian court; Cameron who, no doubt, hallucinates about Great Britannia.
As war creates new markets, most seasoned observers know the jewel in the eye is Libyan’s nationalized Oil Industry.
I stand with the AU on this one - we need to find a different solution which would not reduce Libya to pre-colonial conditions through repeated bombing on her infrastructure.
Even Gaddafi's own son admitted that his troops fired on and killed unarmed protestors. He blamed it on "poor training" of all things. That's without even taking into account the claim by a senior Libyan soldier that Saaid Gaddafi himself ordered troops to open fire on civilians. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-12789740
As for calling the rebels "Islamic extremists", you sound as confused as Gaddafi himself when he says that this is a "Christian Crusade" and that the rebels are Al Qaeda. Christian Crusaders allying themselves with Al Qaeda? Doesn't the guy watch the news?
Please can you provide me with a youtube link showing mass libyans marching peacefully in tripoli like the did in Eygpt and the Libyan Military opening fire on them.
Note. I can show you a Youtube clip of 9 minutes where Bharanians were protesting peacefully and the military opened fire and killed people, and u will see the dead people,
deji.ariyo: Before the Unrest in Libya caused by the Islam extremist , Libya was one of the best country in Africa when its comes to GDP
Only Libya will deport black Africans and give them 2,500 dollars.
Only Gaddafi supported the project of Kwame Nkrumah and Marcus Garvey United States of Africa and which Obasanjo,The Arabs and the White house were against.
Only Gaddafi opposed the Arab Nation exploiting the black Africans and its sad the black Africans are the ones against him now and now supporting the Islam extremist aka the Rebels , SMH
Gaddafi is the only head of state that supported the Black civil rights movement in America monetarily.
The same islam extemist gaddafi is reported killing are the same people killing the blacks in Libya, You people should seek caution Gaddafi did not become a dictator over night, This is another case of Kwame Nkrumah and Thomas Sankara two of the best leaders that were outed by the imperialist.
Please note bold above in your comments, Hmm so you know your history, interesting,
I am wary of want is happening, this is not looking good for the Libyan People and the Arab League know this,
As i said "WHO IS THE LEADER OF THESE REBELS IN LIBYA"?, I doubt that a leader would show his face as if he does the Libya Govt will have a better picture of what is really going on,
jacron: Ghadafi's time is up,and if he don't understand that, he will go the way of sadam hussan, and the AU should keep away and let them attack the sadist, tyrant, the first son of the devil and his cohort.
And those in AU who are advocating for cease fire to Ghadafi are those who have intentions of elongating there own tenure, they also should have a re-think and advice the tyrant to stepdown for his own good
Dont be soo rash we your comments, if Ghadaffi time is up what about the House of Saud that has rules Suadi Arabia for 65 years?
It only takes one wrong move by NATO ie Bombing a rebel facility or hid-out in Libya or some civilian spot to be bombed, which will turn the tide of public opinion in Libya against them,
stildude: African leaders, sorry leaders in some African countries are speaking against the UN resolution cos most of them are guilty of holding on to power undemocratically, in most cases using instrument of state to crush opposition. They are very aware that now it's Libya and Ghadafi is in the hot seat, next, stealth planes will be hovering over their skies and warship by their harbours like the eagles in the sky and the great white in the water closing in on their prey. Now guess who's been watching DSTV?
Nobody trully wins in war especially the people who are affected on the ground, what people may want is what happened in Egypt but i doubt it can happen in other African countries,
justwise: So tell us. . which channel do you watch?
I watch all channels!!! both sides of the spectrum BBC, CNN etc that push the Western agenda and view and RT, Al Jazz etc that give the alternive view. Please note that the Alternative view channels also interviews Americans and Europeans who support and oppose the Western View,
Then are search the internet like crazy for those online sites that report news that can shed light on what is happenning,
Then i also ask North Africans/Arabs that i know what do they think of whats happenning.
justwise: Who started shooting the protesters? How many pple died BEFORE the UN came in? So u think its cool for innocent pple to die cos they wanted a change of govt?
Dude check it out well, go on youtube, RT or Al jazerra.
They were no shootings when their was the "so-called Protest" but before you can "say your name" the so-called protesters had become armed with "Guns, Artillary and all sort of other weapons" and they turned from being protesters carrying placards to so called rebels carrying Guns! and in a flash the western media was giving them legitimacy.
There was not peacful marches or protest in libya, it spiraled into an armed conflict within a week and since the EU/USA did not like the leader anyway it was bound to get all ugly
BUT WHAT I AM WAITING FOR IS A LEADER OF THESE REBELS TO EMERGE AND SHOW HIS FACE, THEN WE CAN START TO FIND OUT WHO IS BACKING HIM AND WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON,
As i said lets watch and see, this is not funny at all as its now in our backyard!!!
Dream chaser: I have been watching CNN all day and I haven't heard the name Africa mentioned when they are talking about Libya. The only name I hear is Arab. So IMO Libya is not considered an African country by this ppl so what is the AU's point? Well I still believe that the US and co are have wounds that have refused to heal, hence the attack on libya. They should go to Bahrain (home of a us military base) and Ivory coast (which has no oil), until then I dey laugh in arabic! Mean while, we can't afford to ve another Iraq iin this continent.
Wrong channel!!!,
Ivory Coast has alot of Strategic Minerals ie, cobalt, copper, nickel, and bauxite which is used extensively in Manufacturing and is used in the Laptop/PC you are typing your comments on,
deji.ariyo: Tell me one single country America has invaded and brought change in favour of the citizens of the said Nation??
Brother dont bother waiting for a reply as all the "Air-heads" on this forum can not give you a single country that has benefited from an Invasion or Air strike by USA.
In Politics their is no Permanent Friends but Permanent Interest! All the Arab Nations are aware of this and the Bombing of Libya is just another reminder to them that things have not changed since Iraq, Afghanistan etc,
solajacobs: i wonder what the african union were doing when gadafi was killing his people,
The Bharanian Military are shooting/killing their own people to put down the protest, and what is the EU/USA doing about that? Go on youtube and see people being slaughtered by the Bharanian Military, Stop having selective myopia and see the wider picture.
