I know industrial chemistry is quite a challenging department. I know because I had friends who "carried over" physical chemistry
till final year in the same Covenant. But because it was hard for you doesn't mean it wouldn't be easy for someone else.

Chemistry doesn't hard for me try to understand that... You didnt study the course so I won't argue with u, is like say someone did 70 courses and had 69 A's and 1B, that can only happen in waec.....oga forget that thing it can only happen in private universities and don't forget say we did some crazy practicals. If the guy come to unilorin am very sure that he will make first class but that 4.99 is not fucking possible.

Is it the same industrial chemistry I did in unilorin years back?...seriously I can't believe what am seeing...4.99....1B in 1 unit course through out...

No need to panic, the cash is hanging somewhere. In some cases it is auto-reversed, in other cases you have to apply for a reversal. I had similar issue last year and I mesaaged the bank on their Verified facebook handle to find out why my recipient is yet to get her money. It was then I was told that the recipient's account number doesn't match with the bank I picked. They requested for the bank name and helped me complete the transaction. Tell your friend to either go to the nearest branch, call them or message them.

What of if the person has withdraw the money from his/her bank account, how will the bank reverse it?

I am telling you reality that I know very well, you're talking about something else. The way it works in economics is that you can do a master's and a PhD in economics without having taken any undergraduate course in economics. The mathematics needed in all areas of economics is NOT basic if you really want to go deep into some areas of economics. This is why foreign universities love people with quantitative background and will give them scholarships to study economics that they had no prior background in. I myself I am an economist (full economist) and have taught economics at all levels. The best students at graduate levels, from my experience, in economics are the ones with non economics BSc or BSc in economics and a quantitative subject. I and most of my current friends and colleagues never did economics at BSc level. However, we were accepted to do economics at higher levels at various universities. This is not restricted to the small sample of me and my friends. It is true across Europe and North America that I know very well about. Not that I need to convince you or have you believe the fact I'm presenting, you are free to hold your views. However, I believe someone will see this post, make further enquiries and learn something. That's what matters.

You make me laugh when you say basic aspect of math. Economics uses different types of mathematics. To do economics at a high level, solid math foundation is required, especially if you do theoretical economics. That's why these top foreign schools like and want people with quantitative background, with or without economics, to study economics at graduate level. The economics knowledge can be picked up. I picked it up after 1 year. Others can do it in one year or less.

There is no need to debate for the sake of it. I very much know what I am saying and have been in this business for a long time. I am only here offering advice, though this indeed will be my last post because it appears there is no need.

Hopefully, someone informed and has insights outside the shores of naija will see this and reiterate what I'm saying. The same is true for finance. You can study economics or finance at graduate level with a BSc in a quantitative field, with or with economics or finance content. Although this may not be true in Nigeria, it is certainly true in Europe and North America.

And yes, I did mention inviting top BSc math students to contact me if they want to study economics and other courses at a good school in Europe and North America. This is still open. I have been doing it on nairaland since 2014. I will chose from them and help them. I can't help everyone.

Bro please can someone who studied BSc industrial chemistry (2:1) at undergraduate level study economics at graduate level.

After a long search of what kind of laptop I wanna buy, I finally bought one which is a second hand but it's in prestine condition..

I love the specs of this laptop,no dents or scratches, touch screen & it's an ultrabook...And ooh before i forget it's a throw away price too..Good huh? His reason of selling is that his company already issued him a new macbook laptop, hence he doesn't need this one.


So, here's the story...

I only decided to get a second hand laptop coz of YOUTUBE, I want a bigger screen. This where I watch news & music videos every nyt before I go to sleep. I asked some of my friends if they know someone who sell laptop & then Mae (a friend of mine) told me that she knows someone from the I.T depeartment.. So she linked me with the guy... I contacted him and we discussed & he told me if It's fine that I shoild go to his place so I can check the laptop. We arranged the time & date afterwards.

So, it was last Sunday I went to his place. I met his wife & kids as well.. They are local Chinese Singaporean & very friendly.. So, I checked the laptop & asked him if he reset it to factory mode but according to him no need as he upgraded some of the important specs of the laptop. So, I asked him if he deleted all the infos he stored on this laptop & he said yes but I still politely asked him to recheck again, just to make sure that he deleted everything which he agreed to scroll & seems he's rest assured that there was nothing inside. So, I paid the amount, took the laptop and left. But he said if I need to ask some questions regarding the laptop, just to give him a call.

Microsoft windows is such a pain in the ass..It took me ages to navigate and get familiarise everything as I am used to Apple & Andriod. So, last night finally I have all the time I need to check everything.

I open the PHOTO APP

It was empty but on the upper right corner, there was a red dot in "IMPORT". So, clicked it.BOOOOOM!!! It automatically imported the pictures & videos from somewhere

And look what i found, a very graphic sex acts of this guy and a little girl (maybe age 8-10)
Behind all these smiles & friendly face, HE IS A PAEDOPHILE... The videos & pics have different time stamps & location.

At the moment, I dunno what to do? Should I report him or should I confront him first?

Nothing like that.....this is how they do it, when u get to the centre locate where they re marking ur desire subject. When u get there u will meet gatecrashers like u, ask anymore if they re writing names, if they re u too do d same thing. The coordination might last for 3days depending on the subjects, and on the last day they will share all the parcel. Waec has there examiners in which they have sent messages too for marking, not all of them will show up and for those examiners that didn't show up there parcel will be given to gatecrashers... Note: they start with anyone(gatecrasher) with highest qualification. U will meet some gatecrasher with PGDE and Msc.....just pray that favour locate u....good luck to u bro
