the most horrific and disheartening for me was that of the man that came from America after a long time and felt the safest place to stay was the police station cos he was having some money on him. he was killed in the station before daybreak. happened in oshodi(mafoluku). we are not saying that there is no good in the police but the bad ones are becoming more and more. there is something called contentment. no matter how much these guys are paid, it will take divine intervention for them to change. sometimes, whenever am going home from work and they start their extortion around vgc and cause huge traffic, i always wonder whether no-one with a high rank in the force sees them. it is done openly, they even give change sef majamaja,i was just joking about ur dad being a policeman and all. i asked for glorious stories too so if u have one apart from the newspaper propanganda, please give. the institution is so corrupt, its scary to imagine what those guys will get into when they leave the jobs. why will u blow siren just cause u are transporting rams? i was in traffic one day when one of them with his paraga selling babe with him. the babe complained that she will run late o next thing the guy started the siren. who goes against traffic most? who stays at weed joints most? who gives the bus drivers the guts to face one-way? POLICE!!!! more to come!!! |
mamajama, is ur dad a policeman? well, we are sorry about that. truth be told, they are not well paid or watever but the fact remains that integrity does not have anything to do with money. no matter how low an upright man's pay is, he ill never falter. there are some of them who still have that self-respect and u wont but treat them wityh utmost respect. wat will u say about this then: a policewoman wanted to get into a bus but was told that someone was already laying claims as a "staff" in that bus. she looked and the "co-staff" signified by raising his hand. she didnt enter but had to wait for another one. now tell me, if he looses her job today, will she be walking or begging the bus drivers? we see them everyday at oshodi behaving in a manner more derogatory than wat u will expect from area boys. i have more stories but il be dropping them later. cheers |

Am sure y'all have seen their advert on CNN, smooth, hmmn well, their planes are clean and new and a bit spacious, the meals, wonderful( i had meals over and over) their hosts/hostesses are generous and courteous BUT, their management is terrible. We were delayed in Lagos and on getting to Doha, the London bound plane was just leaving. They then connived ro refuse us entry into town just because they didnt want to pay for our accommodation in their hotels. We had to stay in the airport for over 8 hours for the next flight. Meanwhile other nationals like Indians and Filipinos were allowed. It was a terrible treatment. and their staff never have information! I will suggest that they pack their shit and leave if they cannot treat us with the respect we deserve. |

ask an igbo "professor in English Lingustics" to pronounce the following: Prepare Oil Develop Dunlop. They even originated the word, "severally". Igbo accent is a disease that is near uncurable!!!! |

Guys, please let me know what you think about what comes out of our ovens as MBA professionals. Cheers. |
Hi people, I will just like to share this with y'all. Since i started my training in PM, i have gotten to understand that there are better ways to do things that how most companies we know do them. I mean, like my teacher said, why was it easy for DSTV to crush all local competitions or why did the MTN crush Nitel with all her infrastructure? Its all about planning. I implore anyone that cares to please take a training on this course. I am in the middle of mine and am loving it!!!!! i have some materials and i can hook u up with a good training school with young teachers. Cheers |

One thing i believe they can do to make the programme worthwhile is this, let them make self defence classes available to the Corpers. I mean, our ladies get harrased day in the out. i remember a case of a LASTMa official beating a bus passenger with a belt just because she objected to them being taken to the station with the bus driver when it was getting close to 8am. I mean, if corpers are taught how to defend themselves cases of oppression, bullying, etc will reduce. Tell me what you think. Cheers |
