Your last thread on "interim government" was quite alien to progressives...I never saw you as someone who'll be easily deceived by the gimmicks of this present government, a term you sometimes used in the past on TANoids as "being gullible".

Although I agree that some comments on that thread by progressives were un-called for and overboard especially Gbawe's, I don't think those were enough reasons for you to leave the progressives if you truly stood for Buhari's course.

It made my day. It was so satisfying to see the change guys lampoon one of theirs.

I'm still gleefully rejoicing over it.

Today has been a spectacular one on Nairaland, at least at the Politics Section.

In the same vein, it' being a sad day along.

Spectacular, because we saw the much mouthed change crews shredding one of theirs to pieces. No internal democracy whatsoever.

Sad because we witnessed how impatient, odious, bitter and hypocritical the vast majority of the foot soldiers of the APC are!

Personal I was disappointed with all the happenings, though a part of found some malicious comfort for the disarray in their midst.

Having said all these, let's remember that even after the forthcoming elections, we will still be here. Let's tolerate one another. Let's disagree in love. Let's not take politics too far.

We must be different from the bitter politicians we have in the society. We must learn to accommodate others, no matter how dissenting their views may be. Let's be guarded.

At the end of the day, we all want a better nation. We all desire a saner society. If our disagreement doesn't do translate into a better nation, we have failed.

Let's brace up for more defections! Let's not turn Seun's Nairaland into a political battleground. Let's be tolerant.
