Honestly, everything I have today except my degree and other educational qualifications is courtesy of the proceeds from domaining. I entered the biz January, 2021 and I made my first sale March, 2021.

To the Glory of God, I've been making money from domaining every single month since then non stop. What my degree couldn't give me.

You got some nice names, but the price is are asking for should be reseller price and 4k maybe too much for reseller price of geo names, which am sure you must have outbounded.

Fine, domaining is not a get rich quick business and there's no even any get-rich quick business. But if you follow the rudiments of domaining, I can bet that you would definitely be successful.

That you're not successful in domaining (if applicable though) doesn't mean another person coming in would not make it. It's all about seriousness, hardwork, dedication and perseverance.

Up till today, I'm still getting domains on ED, and I started this business January, 2021. To God be the Glory I have sold about 50 domains, and these are few of the thousands to come God willing.

I'm saying this to motivate people who are still finding it difficult to establish themselve in this hustle. Continue working hard and don't deceive yourself, the sale would definitely come. A man can not be unfortunate throughout 365 days in a year.

For new and intending domainers, listen carefully:

1. Domain flipping is no longer what it used to be, it is currently facing a glut.

2. It is never a get rich quick scheme and requires a lot of work, especially when you're investing in Geo domains.

3. Never borrow money to invest in domain.

4. Always have another hustle if you must become a domainer.

5. It's now almost like a Ponzi scheme, most of those cashing out now are those that invested earlier.

6. If you focus all your energy and hope on domain flipping as a newbie, you're likely to become frustrated when reality hits.

7. Don't allow the successful sales some old domainers announce here to decieve you, most of them were lucky earlier and made sales they used in boosting their portfolio. You can't compare your "10 or 15" domains you have in stock and was bought with high exchange rate to someone who has 2000 domain names he accumulated over the years. There is a high chance he would be able to post sales here and there while you errornously assume that village people are after you.

N/B this is not the 7 commandments about domaining but my own personal opinion based on research.

Always consider Subject Verb Agreement before registering domain names.

Regards. A word of advice to anyone trying to impersonate me, nothing wrong in selling ebook but let it be what is working for you. Sell some domains first, have consistent proof of earnings to avoid misleading and making people waste money doing the wrong things. Be yourself, be original.

Both held for about 3 weeks.

I, unfortunately, have just been diagnosed with Glaucoma and therefore might not be able to buy and outbound domains like I'd have been doing. I'll be limiting the use of computer and phones so as not to increase pressure and further strain my optic nerves as advised by medical experts. I was told it's hereditary but to the best of my knowledge, no one in our family history or ancestors have had something like that, but it's ok.

I would advise everyone to do regular med check up. Thanks to all who have been helpful in making this thread worthwhile. God bless you all richly!

First, I want to thank everyone on this thread for their contributions. I also want to thank the OP who created this thread. Big thanks to lajid. I came across this thread on December 6th 2021 or there about. I then was reading it casually until I saw lajid's post on a thread about making first million or so. I contacted lajid (sorry for the disturbing questions), and the rest as they say, is history.

I bought my first 2 domains (Geo domains) on December 20th, 2021 after days of sleeping on this thread. Lajid told me to ask for a refund for one of them which wasn't too good. I did immediately and was left with just one. Immediately I set to work and found loads of end users. By January, I started sending outbound emails. One end-user told me he will only pay $100 for the domain and I agreed, only for him to chicken out after a few days.

Long story cut short, my only domain finally sold on January 20th 2022, when an end user who I sent an email earlier this year, made an offer of $300 and I accepted.

This was just my first domain and it sold for $300, I'm so elated.

Congratulations. Care to reveal the name? So others can learn one or two things.

They are not lying. Even we that are still picking from ED self are still getting it small small and growing our portfolio. See my recent sale, this is just for motivation. The hustle is real and big.
