Apart from Orji that asked for the Deputy Senate President, not Senate president, which other Igbo senator made a statement about this?

Ekweremadu knew it was over when Saraki lost.

I'm not emotional about it. But let's not put people on the edge by talking ill about anyone's tribe.

The Igbos lost the moment Atiku lost. And they have moved on. Statements like "they are crying and wailing" is absolutely unnecessary
Remember this whole Brouhaha is about a statement credited to Nabena nau who is also just one individual. But Egbere TV has now amplified it. People understands the game..

Who made the statement? Nabena

Is Nabena from the South East? No

Why are you now behaving petty? Did any Igbo senator ask for the Senate president's seat? Maybe you should check the meaning of an hypocrite before you call people that

Everyone should love his own. There's nothing wrong if a Deji decides to support Osibanjo. But be matured about it. Nobody is crying for the position. Obi and Fashola met recently. Stop being a baby when it comes to politics. Your party won

And like I said, nobody is dragging your tribe with you. Stop acting defensive
Hey man cool down... Orji Kalu would like to be Senate President or Deputy and so are other SE Senators. If Ekweremadu has his ways, he will not mind to repeat what he did in 2015. So, this is politics and dont get emotional about it.

Nabena stated a valid point. Politically, nothing should go to them because they didn't contribute to the victory. Did you see any PDP senator from the east begging for SP or DSP?

When I see some of your threads, I actually think you think. But of course, I'm wrong grin

The Igbos don't deserve anything. How does that stop the sun from shining tomorrow, or cancel the newly signed minimum wage.

Stop acting petty. Nobody is dragging your tribe with you. Chill grin
I dont need any showing from you. I also want to show you how hopeless and a cry cry baby you are with your Egbere TV Crying and drawing attention to your useless self and hoping to blackmail anybody. It will not work. Cry from now till tomorrow everyone knows that you are a useless hypocrite.

Fact is that it will take Nigeria centuries to catch up with the level of farming practiced in countries like the Netherlands. These are countries who have labs that are bigger and more equipped that our national hospital dedicated to just agricultural research. When you say young Nigerians should go in to farming, do you mean peasant farming? The rest of the world has long moved on from that. Even a fairly used tractor costs about 500k naira, how many young Nigerians can afford that?
We cant say the world has left us behind, then we will do nothing. Its unfortunate past Govt did nothing apart from pay lip service to develpt. This time around, FG is working with Netherland on Technology Transfer. Na when person wake up be him morning. Its not too late for us to start something.

Everest Amaefule, Abuja

The Debt Management Office on Wednesday said that FGN Bonds offered to investors for the month of March was oversubscribed by N140bn.

In a statement made available to our correspondent in Abuja, the DMO said it offered N100bn bonds but received a subscription of N240.6bn.

The DMO said, “The FGN Bond auction for March 2019 conducted on Wednesday at which N100bn bonds were offered was oversubscribed just as in the auctions for January and February.

“We offered three instruments at the auction for three, seven and 10-year tenors and subscriptions for the three instruments was in excess of N148bn for competitive bids. Non-competitive bids valued at N92.6bn were also received, taking the total subscriptions across the three tenors to over N240.6bn.”

It added, “The trend of investors’ preference for the longer tenured instrument continued, with the 10-year bond significantly oversubscribed with a bid-to-cover ratio above five.”

“Allotments were made to successful bidders at the rates of 13.5 per cent for the five-year, 13.5 per cent for the seven-year and 13.5 per cent for the 10-year bonds, which are considerably lower than the allotment rates for the February 2019 auction.”

The DMO said that total amount allotted to both competitive and non-competitive bids for the three instruments was N121.95bn.

Netherlands makes $100 billion annually from agriculture alone, which is our oil earnings in 4 years.

Yesterday, all their top scientists and CEOs were in Nigeria in a deal to transfer their agricultural technology to Nigeria farming so we also can make more from farming than oil.

If the APC really wants to win they should Field an igbo man as deputy. That way, votes in the east will be massively splitted because the igbos will be baited with a rare opportunity to become VP. Blessed are those who desire not, for they shall not be dissapointed.

But on the flip side, you are so pained that your slavery to Buhari for 8 years in return for the seat in 2023 is fleeting before your very eyes. Thats why so many threads have been opened on this same topic even though Buhari has not even assumed his second term. So who is the real BOI BOI? It's only a house boy that is expecting a settlement. It appears your Oga Buhari might want to settle you, but some people say they won't allow you collect settlement. So you wan die put.

The pain is so much for you to bear right? Perhaps Tinubu has paid you people to start a social media blackmail against the igbos, hoping that you will make the igbos feel some shame ba?

You are in for a shocker. You will realize one thing about the igbos. We are strong hearted and resolute. The only power the Nigerian state has used to intimidate us is the power of the barrel, and since no one will be pointing a barrel at us to force us to seek presidency in 2023, neither will our goods be seized at the wharf, or our shops locked in Lagos for that purpose, you can be sure nothing is changing this position.

Wail and Curse From now till 2023, it won't change a thing.

By the time you are convinced, na to kill Buhari go remain for una.

But I can tell you for free, if SW don't get 2023 presidency, you might not get it again till the Lord comes.
You still dont get it do you? That is how you will be displaying your folly and Jimi Agbaje will pick the PDP ticket in 2023. You have been reduced to a pawn in the hands of PDP that, the party will never zone its Presidential ticket to the Igbo and you must continually vote for that party.

If not that you didn't study well in school, you would have known than the term inferiority complex has no business here. It is acceptance of the truth. Igbos are hated by most tribes in Nigeria. But I'm glad that the only people that shared such fate as the igbos in history are the Jews . The Jews were so hated that Hitler killed 6m of them.

I'm sure you hate igbos so much that you will be glad if they are wiped off the earth's surface. But sorry to burst your bubble. It's not going to happen. And just like the Jews, we are doing very well world over in every dimension of human endeavor. And whether you like it or not, our time to shine politically is coming. It's just time.

We are not willing to take such risk. PDP will ensure APC is dismantled or quarantined to a few states in the SW and NE before the ticket is given to an igbo man. Who will ride into power with ease.

By then, the likes of Tinubu, Fashola, and there goons and add lockers like deomelo and others, who like to play tribal politics in the SW would have been permanently rendered to the rubbish bin of history. Then we can form a new united southern front.
PDP has Igbo mumu number and they will continue to ring it. It is not BOI BOI status, that award should go to the Yorubas who are eye service masters. Go to offices all around Nigeria and you would quickly see that the BOI BOI people there are Yorubas ( with all due respect to innumerable strong willed and courageous men from oodua land usually refered to as the true omoluabis).

The reason why i as an igbo man will not support any igbo man to aspire for presidency in 2023 is simply because we are hated and feared at the same time. Most Yorubas hate igbos and most hausas are suspicious of igbos that an igbo president will dismantle nigeria, while the remaining hate us. The only people that will support igbos are the SS. But their support will not give igbos presidency.

I can tell you for free that a Yoruba candidate in APC will defeat an igbo candidate in PDP and that's because most northerners are presently more comfortable with the Yorubas and that's a fact.

As a result, the wise thing for PDP to do is to give the ticket to a northerner which will give pdp power at the national and strengthen the structure of the party, while denying Yorubas presidency, which will make both SE and SS happy. In 2027 or 2031, when APC must have been quarantined to a few states in the SW and NE, PDP can now give the ticket to an easterner.

That's the game plan. Call igbos BOI BOI as you like, nothing can change this arrangement. And tell it to your fellow afonjas like deomelo, gurnam, gallivanting all through this thread like freaks just released from asylums.
Igbos cant contest and feel inferior politically to other geo political zone. All I see you displaying here is inferiority complex. You base your Political moves or calculation on the Yorubas and they have always being doing their own thing .You have accepted your boi boi position. For 24 years, PDP see the Igbo as unelectable. You realise that even if you contest, no Hausa / Fulani or Ijaw in PDP will vote Igbo. Only to be used as boi boi in Nigeria.
You claim SS will vote for Igbo? You really love to deceive yourself. Are you aware that Ojukwu scored 3 votes in Bayelsa state during the 2007 Presidential election?

N12.8 Million Fraud: EFCC Deploys Technology In Court.

The South East Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 opened a new vista in its prosecutorial annals when it deployed technology in the prosecution of its case by calling a prosecution witness living in the United States of America, Obu Nnamdi Patrick via Skype in a case of Conspiracy, Obtaining Under False Pretences and Impersonation to the tune of N12,800,200 (Twelve Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Two Hundred Naira) against Amobi Alukwu and his wife, Helen Alukwu which was brought before Justice N.I. Buba of the Federal High Court Enugu.

Alukwu, who was a brother in-law of the complainant was accused of obtaining the said sums by first claiming that his brother in-law, Obu Nnamdi Patrick was dead and that his wife, Helen who is the sister to the complainant, was the complainant’s daughter all in a bid to claim compensation on two plots of land at Ifo Layout, Abakpa Nike Enugu from Niger Delta Power Holding Company Ltd/NIPP, whose high tension wire passed through the lands.

Investigation also revealed that when actual payment was to be made and in order to lay credence to being the bonafide beneficiary, Alukwu knowing that the properties was captured in the name of its true owner, Obu Nnamdi Patrick, further presented a sworn affidavit of change of name in his own name as being the same person as the complainant and even made his staff to confirm the change of name.

In his evidence via Skype, the complainant stated he was the rightful owner of the land and as could be seen, he is alive not deceased as was purportedly reported by the complainant. He equally said that he never gave the defendant the power of attorney and deed of assignment of the land stating that Alukwu was his in-law being a brother to his (Patrick’s) wife.

Later in his testimony, the Investigating officer, Collins Iheonunekwu gave a cursory insight into the findings of the Commission stating that the defendant lied in court to get a sworn affidavit claiming the same name as the complainant to get compensation from George Nzei and Co, the company contracted by NDPHC/NIPP to evaluate and pay compensation to beneficiaries.

The case has been adjourned to April 15, 2019 for continuation of trial.

Igbos cannot contest the PDP presidential candidacy when it is zoned to the North, they can only do so when it is zoned to the South. When it was zoned to the South, Ekwueme went for it twice. Then it returned to North under Yaradua. Unfortunately, Yaradua died in Office and GEJ took over, meaning that it returned back to the South without contest. After GEJ, it had to move back to the North and Atiku got it.
So whose turn is it in 2023 then? Can the Igbo vie for Presidency within PDP?
