I think Igbos should be able to get PDP Presidential ticket for 2023. They have been doing houseboy for that party since 1999, which will translate into 24 years by 2023. If a boy is under apprenticeship for 24 years, I think its about time he gets Freedom to display what he can do as well.

So the flaws of Ibori and Uduaghan is a justification for Buhari to watch election being rigged like a movie.
So what do you want him to do? He goes there with Police, you complain. He goes there with Military, you shout militarized election. As you, a supporter of the opposition is complaining, APC Members are complaining that he is not intervening on their behalf. When APC wins, the election is rigged. When PDP wins, then Democracy is in action.
You cant please everybody. But anybody who is not biased can see the neutrality and the sincerity of the President.

And on Ibori , Delta state etc. We actually dont see you complain bitterly about that Govt who is supposed to be closer to you than Abuja or Kano. This is a fundamental flaw.

Osun tribunal: Legal tussle inconclusive, Twitter users warn those congratulating Adeleke
Published March 22, 2019

Senator Ademola Adeleke

Some Twitter users have cautioned those celebrating the declaration of Ademola Adeleke as the winner of Osun State 2018 governorship election, saying the legal battle has just begun.

The Osun State Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja, on Friday, said that Adeleke won the election and that the rerun held by the Independent National Electoral Commission was illegal.

Since the judgement was made public, Adeleke has been trending on Twitter, as users congratulated him. However, some users warned that the legal battle was not over, as the tribunal’s judgement may be challenged at the Appeal Court.

More secrets of Mr Peter Obi unveiled. Tufiakwa
By Igbo Kwenu

APGA cannot mourn the exit of Mr Peter Obi with all these secret findings surrounding him.

1. Those who knew Peter Obi will attest to the fact that he has been a drug dealer beginning from his days as an undergraduate at UNN. He was hardly attending lectures and only managed to graduate with a third class in Philosophy after spending 12 years in the University.

2. His brother in-law who incidentally is one of the hirelings used by him for his nefarious drug trafficking business is currently languishing in jail in far away London . This is the major cause of strain between Obi and his in-laws. It is on record that his closeness to Dubem Obazie was the because he Dubem served jail term for drug trafficking because of Peter.

3. Obi should explain his relationship with former Military Administrator, Governor Ibim Princewill and Col Earnest Kizito Attah of Cross River State whom he helped as a conduit to fleece Cross River State government thus contributing to the under development of the state.

4. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra the circumstances surrounding his father's death which remains his best kept secret. Before then we can reveal that Obi's father was drowned to death by Obi's associates in the drug trade whom he short-changed in a business deal prompting the mafias to kill the old man whom they drowned bounded hands and feet with bricks round his neck.

5. Given the level of insecurity in Anambra state , ''Saint'' Peter Obi should explain how he expends his security vote since it is on record that he collects over 470 million naira per month as security vote (220 million naira from Local Government and 250 million Naira from the state FAC accounts)

6. Just as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (OOO) Cult sect where his wife is a known member. It is also on record that Peter Obi met the wife at a night club in Auchi . The lady had two children from two different men -an Albino and a Ghanaian. The affirmed Catholic is yet to wed his wife in the church.

7. Obi is yet to explain the mystery behind the 250 million naira that was found in the possession of his aides. He is yet to produce the contractor and publish the contractual agreement that stipulates that this very contractor will be paid in cash and also a reference to any other known precedents. Not even the famous late Barkin Zuwo of Kano State paid contractors in cash.

8. Obi should explain why he has continued to loot the resources of the state using his brother, Ndibe Obi, Ejike Onwusogbulu and a certain Chidi Agbapu -a Lagos based stock broker as a conduit for money laundering while the youths in Anambra remain unemployed;

9. Obi was elected governor on the platform of APGA and it is on record that he never convened an APGA meeting thereby destroying the entire party structure. Obi should explain to party faithfuls and loyalists why he destroyed the party;

10. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place?
In view of the foregoing, we demand his immediate resignation or face further disclosure of his criminal past and present.

Bianca Ojukwu Curses Peter Obi For Betraying Ojukwu

Former Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain and widow of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Bianca, has opened up on how the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, failed to sustain the legacies of the late Igbo leader in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Bianca said Obi rode on the wings of the late Ikemba Nnewi to the government house on the platform of APGA but he had abandoned it.

She took her anger to a new level by laying curse on her late husband’s protégée, thus asking ‘history to judge him harshly’.

He told Sun that, “APGA’s political credo revolves essentially around those principles championed by Ojukwu in the Ahiara Declaration which constitutes the benchmarks of a well-ordered society.

“Ikemba envisaged an administrative model with a dynamic policy for industrialisation which concentrates on the employment of primary products in various domestic manufactures, a government which creates possibilities for citizens with talent in business and civil administration, agriculture, technology, trade and commerce, to mention but a few, to fulfil themselves and receive their due reward and appreciation in service to the state.

“It is simple. I maintain that Peter Obi betrayed Dim Ojukwu, and tried to destroy APGA for his own selfish interests. He has continued to undermine Ojukwu’s personality and recently, he has gone ahead to desecrate his legacy. From relative obscurity, Obi was brought into national prominence when the leader, Ojukwu, through his party APGA, offered him an opportunity and platform upon which he ran and became governor of Anambra State

“Ojukwu sacrificed so much and laboured for him to become governor. He (Ojukwu) was fiercely protective of him and helped him overcome the various challenges that confronted him. Peter Obi had a difficult first tenure and stepped on so many toes that the majority of our party faithful were adamant that he should not be nominated for a second tenure. Yet Ojukwu stood by him when it mattered most, jeopardised his health by traversing all the local governments in a rigorous campaign on his behalf and begged the people of Anambra State to grant him a last wish by returning Obi for a second term.

“This feat was achieved for the first time in Anambra State’s history on 6th February 2010. Peter Obi swore to Ojukwu, upon his honour, that he would never abandon APGA; that he would quit politics or die; rather than leave APGA, and that he would preserve this legacy as a potent voice and rallying point for Ndigbo.

“History will judge him (Obi) harshly because the truth of the matter is that it is his pathological fear of political redundancy and oblivion that is now driving him dangerously close to the precipice from where he will soon commit political suicide. The people of Anambra State cannot be hoodwinked as they are determined not to indulge him with a third tenure by installing his candidate as governor.”

Onnoghen Present For Trial At CCT After Health Issues

Channels Television
Updated March 18, 2019

The suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen, is present for his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), after attending to his health issues.

Justice Onnoghen’s trial was adjourned last week following his absence on health grounds.

His counsel, Adeboyega Awomolo, had tendered a letter from the CJN, explaining that he developed issues with his teeth and could not make it to court.

The prosecutor, on the other hand, Aliyu Umar, said he had also received a copy of the letter as well as a medical report indicating he had a high blood pressure.

READ ALSO: Onnoghen Absent At Tribunal On Health Grounds, Trial Adjourned

In today’s sitting, the prosecution, Mr. Umar, called for the first witness, Mr. James Akpala, a Senior Investigative officer with the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

He told the tribunal that he was directed by his superiors to carry out an investigation and was given a petition about the investigation.

He said that the petition was received from Mr. Denis Aganya alleging breach of Code of Public Office including alleged non-declaration of assets and false declaration of assets against the CJN.

According to Mr. Aganya, the team wrote to the CCB requesting for the CJN’s asset declaration ranging from the year 2000 to 2019 which was handed over to him and in turn examined and filed.

He added that after his investigation, the petitioner was invited and his statement recorded.

He also told the tribunal that the scheduling officer at the CCB, Ikpeme Amba, was invited with his statement which was recorded.

Mr. Aganya revealed that the team wrote to the commercial bank purportedly used by the Justice Onnoghen, requesting for his account statements, Account Opening Document and Certificate of Identification.

He noted that the team later found out that the account opening package was incomplete to which his team notified the account officer.

Mr. Akpala explained that on January 13, the investigation team visited the office of the defendant and out found that the account opening package was incomplete to which his team notified the account officer.

Mr. Akpala said the investigation team again visited the office of the defendant on January 13.

The tribunal then allowed the witness to tender documents from the CJN’s bank, their statement and the petition itself.

The Defence counsel Mr. Adeboyega Awomolo, objected to the documents.

He told the tribunal that the documents cannot be tendered because the witness is not the maker of the document and did not sign it, therefore cannot be asked any question concerning the document.

He added that every statement must be proved by the maker of the document and that the witness has testified under oath that he is a staff of CCB and not the bank.

In his submission, the prosecutor Mr. Aliyu Umar said the witness is an investigation officer who receives documents and asked for documents in the course of his work.

He is of the opinion that on the strength of that, he can submit the documents.

He stated that the proof will come from the officer of the bank who is listed as a witness in the matter.

The chairman of the Tribunal, however, admitted it in evidence. According to him, it is in the interest of justice.

The witness Mr. Akpala was asked if he sees the statement of the defendant will he recognise it? He answered in the affirmative.

The Defence has no objection to the said statement and it is tendered in evidence.

The witness is then asked to tell the court for what office the asset declaration form handed to him was declared.

The witness said it was for 2014. He was then asked to read when it was received by the bureau. The witness said it was on December 14, 2016.

Under cross-examination, the witness was asked if the only thing the team did was to collect information and documents.

He said in addition to that, his team Conducted interviews and wrote a report after that, Mr Akpala was asked to tell the tribunal the organogram of CCB which he listed.

He was then asked if the CCB had a particular register that contained those that have declared their assets from 1993 till date.

The witness stuttered at first, then eventually told the tribunal that he is not aware.

The Delta State Police Command has announced the arrest of a member of an armed robbery gang said to be terrorising Ughelli, Warri and Udu environs through a mobile phone stolen from a victim, as well as an 80-year-old man, who allegedly repairs the gang’s guns.

The Police Commissioner in the state, Adeyinka Adeleke, who disclosed this on Thursday in Asaba, gave the names of the suspects as Emmanuel Patrick and Udenmba Ndu Ben.

Patrick, 32, who hails from the Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, confessed to the crime and gave the names of other members of the gang.

The suspect, who was arrested with a pump action gun and seven cartridges, admitted to partaking in three armed robbery operations in the state.

Adeleke stated that the suspect led the police to the gang’s armoury, where two other pump action guns, four double-barrelled guns, one single-barrelled gun, one air gun, 274 cartridges, two bulletproof jackets and four bullet holders were recovered.

According to him, the gang’s 80-year-old armourer, Udenmba, hails from the Eskusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.

“Udenmba also confessed to the crime and admitted being in charge of servicing of the gangs firearms and also supplying them with ammunition. The armourer said he did not manufacture guns, but was repairing, buying and selling arms and ammunition. The team is intensifying efforts towards arresting the other fleeing gang members,” the CP added.
