SaharaReporters has learnt that
the Deji of Akure kingdom, Oba
Adebiyi Adesida has died of an
undisclosed illness in Akure the
Ondo State capital.
A family source revealed that Oba
Adesida last attended a public
function in Lagos where he
celebrated the marriage
ceremony of his son, Adetunji
Oluwagbemiga two weekends
ago.
When SaharaReporters called a
source in the palace he said in a
local dialect "Oba ti w'aja'
meaning the 'the King is gone'.
He also disclosed that the
monarch died in his palace as
palace guards tried to rescue
him.
The monarch who was born into
the Ojijigogun ruling house
ascended the throne on August
12, 2010 after he was recalled
from London shortly after the
former Deji was dethroned for
abusing his wife.

The Akure Monarch Oba Adesida Adebiyi is confirmed to have passed on to join his ancestors in the early hours of today, the Monarch aged 63 was a replacement to the king that was dethroned couple of years ago.
Detail of his 'passing on' to be released in 7days time, based on tradition.

@op....Dude...what are you saying...i was reading this ur write-up, and i was seeing an hypocrite behind the whatever device he used in typing all of that...(or was i high on sumfin)...me am not hating o...i actuali do get the best out of whatever time i have on my 'plate' ..i.e i made alot of gains during this strike period...but there is sumtin behind dis ur 'wrap up' (write up) dat doesnt sound right...thank god i cant place my finger on that 'thing' yet....(it sounds the way my hollier-than-thou friend use to sound)...i pray i dont regret this post after this cheap whiskey clears frm my eye...

this would probably land on page 13...am not bothered...just have to say it...its not the silliest thing i've done to get a gal, but the silliest thing a gal did to get my attention...(she didnt get it tho, my way of punishing her)...this happened today at a wedding ceremony, in a church! I was sitting with my older sister when the gal came and sat beside me on a church bench(all those cathedral-like thick benches), i looked at her just to acknowledge her precence and continued gisting with my sister, not long she threw her arm over the back rest of the bench slightly brushing my arm, i looked at her, but she was looking elsewhere(she knew i know what her intention was)...then the silly part, she moved her butt a bit to the front, then bent her legs towards my view, i ignored her...i didnt even knw my sis noticed what she was doing, i just continued gisting and transfering pictures to my phone. My sister now said in yoruba, kilo she eleyi to de fe idi kale...meaning 'whats wrong with this one opening her laps'..i smiled and i told her that i was about telling her that my attention was getting divided, that i was reasoning the gal b4 o, so we laughed, i guess the gal coded and knew we were laffin at what she was doing, so she stood up and left, from then she was nt even giving me face at all...well me being me, i said atleast let me start a conversatn wit her....just to realise that the gal no even fine like dat....mtcheeeeew...

The silly thing i did, then i was 15, writing GCE exams in preparatn 4 WAEC, then i met this angel...(angel for my eye then tho), so from the first day, i've always eyed her....but was getting hit on by older boys...so i just chilled and enjoyed the game of just getting to see her beautiful face, until one day when i finaly had d chance to get to talk to her, that day we were to fetch desk and seat for ourselves to use in writing our paper that day, i got my desk nd seat into the hall on time, had sum1 look over it 4 me, then i went back to help my fragile angel carry her heavy desk while she carried the seat....it was nice sha...(let me not call it a mumu move, its d most gentlemanish thing i've done 4 a stranger just 4 attention) we talkd later sha, but culdnt get her digits, GSM was just in its 4th year in nija then...sorry 4 disappointin with my not-so-silly story, the gal name is yinka, and i tot about her everyday for one year(now dat was silly)....thank u.....
