BornnAgainChild:A typical Arrogant Nigerian girl response. Thought you are born again and should be different smh. I hate Nigerian girls, they are so rude, arrogant and spiteful Now get out of here!
|
BornnAgainChild:What is irritating there? It's just like saying the sight of trees/Bush/grass irritates you, that is ridiculous. They are doing it for camouflage to make them difficult to spot. |
Elohim1:Are you mad? How dare you order me to shut up? you must be very stvpid for making that comment. You lack manners. I have gone through your profile and checked your comments on other threads and i can see you are a bad.ass. You are very rude and disrespectful. You are hiding under a faceless and anonymous forum to insult people., you are a coward. Continue ranting, you are very lucky this is an anonymous forum, you can't try this in the open, your bad.ass attitude will be brought to a screeching halt. |
Elohim1:Lol, you couldn't make sense of what i copied from the Bible? This confirms my earlier statement that your understanding of the scripture. is very shallow. What is new in what i posted? at least majority of us have finished reading the Bible and those things are not new to us. Again it shows your shallow understanding of the scripture. |
Elohim1:This is quite ridiculous of you. You couldn't even crop out the part you are talking about instead you quoted the whole post. And why didn't you say: "from the Bible really"? The source is from the Bible or can you point out any part that contradicts what is written in the Bible there? |
Elohim1:Like i said earlier, your understanding of the scripture is shallow, you don't take your time to study the scripture deeply, you just quote a certain verse and conclude haphazardly. Jesus and his disciples did not observe many of those rules and rituals especially capital punishment which is the main reason for this argument because I can see you are bringing up the case of Lev 20:27 again. Jesus did not order for the execution of those that were possessed during his time, rather he delivered them. Jesus did not abolish the moral and ethical laws that had been in effect from the time of Moses. He affirmed and expanded upon those principles, but He said obedience must be from the heart (attitudes and intentions) rather than just technical observance of the letter of the law (Matthew 5:21-22, 27-28, 31-32, 33-34, 38-42, 43-44,.). However, Jesus and His disciples did not observe the strict scribal rules against doing any work on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-14, Mark 2:23-28, 3:1-6, Luke 6:1-11, 13:10-17, 14:1-6, John 5:1-18). Neither did they perform the ritual hand washings before eating (Matthew 15:1-2). In contrast to the dietary rules of the Law, Jesus said no food can defile a person; it is bad attitudes and actions that can make a person unholy (Matthew 15:1-20, Mark 7:1-23). Jesus frequently criticized the scribal laws (Matthew 23:23, Mark 7:11-13) and some aspects of the Civil law (John 8:3-5, 10-11). |
Elohim1:You are the one that doesn't understand it. Jesus intentionally made that statement because he knew none of them was without sin. He could have as well said they should leave her but they won't see reason with him. What about the cases of those possessed, did Jesus order for their execution? NO, rather he prayed for them and delivered them. Elohim1:Again, you are the one that doesn't understand those verses. Before I begin explanation, let me ask you a question how do you read your bible? I guess you read it like a science textbook or novels that are straight forward. You take every sentence for their literal meaning. Your understanding of the scripture is very shallow. Jesus spoke in parables and you and I know this. it will be dumb for anyone to take most of his words for their literary meaning. Now for those verses you quoted. Christ is cautioning His disciples that His gospel will not cause peace. Infact, it will cause division, even among families, because some people will believe and some people will not. Those who reject God and the only way of salvation through Jesus ( John 14:6 ) will find themselves perpetually at war with God. But those who come to Him in repentance will find themselves at peace with God. Jesus said He had come at this time not to bring peace to the earth, but a sword, a weapon which divides and severs. As a result of His visit to the earth, some children would be set against parents and a man’s enemies might be those within his own household. This is because many who choose to follow Christ are hated by their family members. This may be part of the cost of discipleship, for love of family should not be greater than love for the Lord. A true disciple must take up his cross and follow Jesus (Matthew 16:24 ). He must be willing to face not only family hatred, but also death, like a criminal carrying his cross to his own execution |
Elohim1:Jesus never supported capital punishment, the case of the adulterous woman is an example. With the coming of Jesus, God has established a new covenant with mankind (Jeremiah 31:31-34, Luke 22:20, 1 Corinthians 11:25, Hebrews 8:8-13, 9:11-15). Jesus and His apostles gave us a radically new understanding of the true intent of the Old Testament Law; they brought a new era of the rule of love for all people and spiritual truth instead of rule by law (Luke 10:25-28, John 13:34-35, Ephesians 2:14-18). |
hahn:What do you mean by doing nothing about it? Oh, you want God to react instantly and strike them down? If God operates this way, then do you think you will still be alive today? Or do you want to tell me you have not sinned before in your life? Infact if God operates that way, nobody will be alive today. Nahum 1:3 ( The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.) Proverbs 11:21 (Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free.) |
hahn:You are wrong bro, we don't have such mentality. And the actions of those pastors are not justified by the Bible. There is no verse in the Bible where Jesus supported the execution of witches, rather we should pray for them and deliver them. And do not be deceived Bro, for Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 (“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven".) |
ireneony:The big boss actually took time to inspect all our comments. I caught him viewing this thread for several minutes before he left. Maybe he wasn't comfortable with some of the comments. |
Firstlieutenant:She is correct, mine was also hidden and was even banned momentarily. |
I posted a comment and it was hidden, and was even given a momentary ban. Na wa ooo. Just because I called on cloudgoddess to answer the question winner01 threw at her. Although I noticed the big boss was viewing when I posted the comment, i guess he wasn't comfortable with it. Or someone else reported the comment. Alright no problem. |
KissCODE:Asin, the thing tire person. I now see the reason why some guys here always say they have fish brain. And they are so rude, arrogant and disrespectful and yet they still want men to respect them. Smh. |
bobo65:GLO is a no go area for me. Their 3G is agonizingly slow, infact most times it doesn't even connect at all during the day time It's only at midnight. At times in my area, their 3G network can disappear for like 3 weeks. Although they have the cheapest and most tempting data plans but they really need to improve on their service delivery |
ikombe:You sound like the trick is really working smoothly for you. Is it the root method you are using? |
Omotayor123:Tah! You are a bloody liar. Women are not even active at any age especially African women. Majority of African women have been genitally mutilated while young, about 70% in Nigeria. Coupled with the fact that women generally have low libido, mutilation further depletes it. So what are you talking about. |
ikombe:What do you mean by being a learner? Are you suggesting some kind of tweaking or what.? Because as far as I'm concerned the speed allocated to that plan is 2G. Unless you carry out some manipulations on it. For your information, i have read about the trick, but I'm not comfortable with the process involved. |
ikombe:Bro, i heard the speed is 2G. With that slow speed, you won't be able to exhaust the data within that stipulated time. |
Jobia:Alert! one feminist spotted
|
jideniceguy:Don't mind them, the ladies of nowadays are so disrespectful, full of pride and arrogance. The feminists amongst them are even more disgusting. |
I doubt the authenticity of this story, how can a pride filled and egoistic lady become suddenly humble and make such narrations |
sugarcoatted:Yes, It doesn't make sense. He shouldn't have done that., now the picture has gone viral, what a shame. |
