Celebrities / Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 20 Million Destinies Are Hanging On You! by DejiPlug(m): 2:19pm On Jun 04, 2023
LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

‘O kan yin bayi, baba’, it’s your turn, Asiwaju; you can’t fail, you won’t fail. The single voting stake I have, like the Biblical widow with the mite, I gave it all to you at the polls of 25th February 2023. In my own little way, as much as capacity permitted, I drummed support for you. Some friends and family didn’t like me for it but c’est la vie. When it comes to political choices you won’t have everyone together. All that is done, Alhamdulillah, you emerged victorious and you were inaugurated the 16th President and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 29th May 2023. That is the end of politics time!

Now is governance time! It’s Asiwaju’s turn, eyin lo kan baba. ‘Eni l’ori l’ori n fo’, the late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister crooned that popular Yoruba proverb. ‘Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown’ perhaps carry an equivalent weight as an English proverb, I do not envy you right now. There is so much work on your table for which you do not feign ignorance, exhibit disinterest, or shirk responsibility - a major quality I admire about you. And you have hit the ground running with the fuel pricing saga which Nigeria has grappled with for as long as memory can serve me. You are primed for Nigeria’s no. 1 job. You are ready to lead not just Africa’s most populous nation but the Pride of the Black Race to prosperity. May God help you to succeed and Nigeria succeed, then the Black Race is on its way to reclaiming her prophetic lost grounds.

Among other issues that you must address, Asiwaju, my one-point agenda is education. You promised time and again on the campaign trail that a 4-year course will, indeed, span 4 years. My 20-year-old friend who is about to gain admission this 2023 is worried and afraid if he will be able to finish at age 24 because many Nigerian jobs now seek 22-year-olds. A whole generation will respect and distinguish you for this promise, if you do not renege!

Beyond ASUU, ASUP, COEASU, NATS, NASU, and tertiary education, the UNESCO-estimated 20 million out-of-school children in Nigeria are looking up to you. 20 million destinies are hanging on you. 20 million is real for we can see them daily in all 36 states and FCT hawking on the streets, wandering and begging on the roads and laybys, running errands as house-helps, while some are engaging in social vices between 8am and 2pm when their contemporaries are in school. They are still there even this morning.

Our primary and secondary education deserves priority attention in this regard. Coordinate efforts with the states and local governments to ensure that these levels of education are free, not just that, let them be compulsory and qualitative. Let the curricula be fitted to meet the needs and aspirations of a 21st-century child. Let these levels of education be all-inclusive not leaving a child behind on the basis of disease, disability, or others.

Concerns such as school uniforms and stationery may be a major impediment for some resource-poor families and communities, can we find a way around those needs? Maybe a cloth bank, stationery bank akin to the food banks run by some countries where those materials can be obtained at subsidised rate? When these concerns are addressed, then it should be punishable under law for any parent or guardian to keep a child away from school. A 6-hour daily consistent focus on education for 12 years in a child’s life can be the leverage for a destiny. It shouldn’t be toyed with by anyone. And please don’t terminate the School Feeding Programme, rather improve it.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, education is light. Education is leverage. With education, it is possible for a person to navigate in life. With education, even our political participation will be better. Education inspires the mind to opportunities. Education is light, literally, it is a win-win. Electricity is light, too, you should pay attention to it!

You know if you show me a design that you want. I cannot just do it.
I'll have to draw it.
So that it will be exactly as you want.
To measure it, cut it. Fix it like this.

pays familiarization to Gombe state police command

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

The new Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 12, AIG Sylvester Abiodun Alabi today called for inter-agency security collaboration between the police and other sister agencies in tackling crimes in the zone.

He stated that the complex and dynamic nature of crimes in contemporary time had made it imperative for such collaborations to effectively tackle infractions in the state and zone. National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report that AIG Alabi, who recently assumed duty as AIG Zone 12, with Bauchi and Gombe States under it, gave the charge when addressing officers and men during a familiarisation visit to the Police Command Headquarters in Gombe state today Wednesday.

According to him, working with other security agencies is important in curbing crimes and ensuring peaceful coexistence in the society. 'You need inter-agency collaborations and synergy to address criminality in the state. I don’t want you to see personnel of other security agencies as your competitors or rivals. You must see them as colleagues with common goals, harnessing your diverse skills to fight a common enemy who are the criminals. So you need to work together in synergy and avoid any conflicts so that we can achieve more and make crime a thing of the past', the AIG said.

Alabi further contended that inter-agency synergy would ensure that residents of the state carry out their lawful businesses without fear or intimidation. He therefore advised the command to establish a robust and cordial relationship with other security agencies so as to nip crimes in the bud and sustain the prevailing peace in the state, NAOSNP gathered.

Commenting on the challenge of farmers-herders conflicts in some parts of Gombe South, AIG Abiodun Alabi advised that a non-kinetic approach should be leveraged on, particularly dialogue and consultation while strengthening intelligence gathering. 'We must also ensure intelligence and technology-driven policing to address the dynamic nature of crimes in the society', he said.

On his part, the Commissioner of Police in Gombe State, CP Oqua Etim briefed the AIG on activities of his Command and efforts being made to improve security in the state. Etim said that a lot of initiatives had been introduced to the command to keep the state safe and discourage criminality of any form in all communities within the state. He said that training and re-training of personnel was being prioritised to ensure that personnel were fit and combat ready to protect lives and property of the populace in the state.

NAOSNP can report that the CP commended the AIG for his visit while also commending the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali-Baba for his efforts towards improving the wellbeing and welfare of personnel across the country.

PRESS RELEASE! PRESS RELEASE PRESS RELEASE!!!

Dear valued clients,

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

First, I will like to welcome you all dearly to the month of June. We pray and strongly believe that our desires and plans shall see the light of day.

In the last few days, the economic policy of Subisidy removal of the Federal government of Nigeria has brought some temporary hardships on a good number of Nigerians generally, most especially the students, staff and the people of Osun state and Ile Ife in particular where our brand: KINGSCAB TRANSPORT SERVICES are mostly patronized.

While we as a company that has always believed in a better Nigeria and has been in the forefront of initiatives and ideas that will bring about the betterment of the people of this country. We are of the kind opinion that the removal of the subsidy by the federal government is a welcome idea, as it is already long due. So far the funds meant for it will be directly utilized for the developmental, capital projects and infrastructural facilities that will benefit the general masses, move the country forward for the betterment of all in this nation Nigeria.

However, as a customer sensitive and friendly company, we know the situation has brought about some unavoidable inconveniences for a good number of our clients all across the South West states of Nigeria most especially in Lagos state.

The PMS that was sold at the average price of 195 naira per litre has now jumped to between 488 and 550 per litre, according to the NNPC new price, released on Wednesday, 31st May.

We know how this has terribly affected our dear clients.

In a bid to relief the burden this policy has urgently brought to our dear clients, KINGSCAB will be introducing a new ride booking initiative called: FRIENDLY POOL TRIP POLICY. This policy will allow you book rides for yourself, your friends, family, colleagues, roommates, course mates and/or people that you are in the Same or similar locations going to the same destination or similar destinations. With this beautiful initiative of us, you can be up to three Or maximum of four in a car ride while you pay the same amount or just a little more depending on the peculiarities of your arrangements. There are terms and conditions apply which will be related clearly by our customer service departments upon booking.

This beautiful initiative is brought up by us as we creatively think of how we can help our dear customers get to their destinations comfortably without breaking the bank.

Due to the already established increase in the price of PMS as a thousand naira can now only buy two liters of petrol as against the over four liters before, we are left with little option than to have an upward review of our prices which you will agree with us is justifiably fair. However, we have looked for ways to ease the burden of our already extremely fair charges in relation to the premium, executive and quality services we render to our dear customers.

Furthermore, our CAR HIRE and CAR RENTAL services will now operate A FULL TANK RELEASE and A FULL TANK RETURN POLICY. This will make it easier for our clients to know exactly the amount of fuel used and there won’t be any feeling of being cheated by our dear customers.

We implore our dear customers to remain calm and loyal to us as we will continue to think, make plans and work creatively to bring about the best quality and clients friendly transportation services to you.

While we navigate these sensitive periods, we wish our customers the very best as they go about their different endeavors.

KINGSCAB remain committed to your best transportation solutions.

Kind Regards,
Michael Oluwaseun KOLADE,
Founder/CEO
KINGSCAB.

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

Last year when I finished service. I served at Ibadan, it wasn't easy after service when the allawee stopped coming in, you understand, and l didn't have any other source of living. Just that l have learnt this work before going to school. Thank GOD for that, because if not for that I would be suffering by now o. That was 2016 when I was running my ND program.
While I was doing PT I was learning also. I've even finished learning before finishing my ND program.

So when I went for my HND program I did full-time. Thank GOD for the work when l was in school I would do one or two for people, you know, fix screens for different people. When we were doing our project, they told us we need flashdrives, CD, and l collected money from my classmates, ran to Ikeja, to buy them. You understand, because nobody will give you money from home. If you call home that 'please l need something' they'll just be giving you different story. You might even be needing 20 thousand and they'll be sending you 2thousand, 3 thousand. That one cannot do anything, but as a guy man you gats double your huzzle.

Thank GOD sha, when I finished service I searched for work normal normal. We carry our kpally look for work up and down. I studied Business Administration at YabaTech. The journey has been well sha we thank GOD. All the work l was offered l didnt like the pay at all. Some of them will be offering 30 thousand, 45, 40k. I was like which kain payment be this one.
The little that l saved from while l was serving you understand, family and friends. When I told one or two people alao they gave me the little they can offer also I got this place

Palmadex Charge for the Season

I would like to encourage new exporters and also would-be investors in export; this is the best time to export.

The current government, I believe they are going to put more effort to encourage non oil export thereby making business more flexible for people that are interested in doing export.

I want to encourage everyone to come to Palmadex Export Academy.

Learn about export because in coming months or within a year, there'll be a lot of government incentives for export businesses, and loan facilities from the federal government. -

Celebrities / Things A Man Must Know By 25 by DejiPlug(m): 8:24am On May 26, 2023
LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

1. A man must figure out how to judge people's authenticity.

This helps him avoid getting cheated or

fooled in life.

This also helps him identify his true friends and enemies.

2. A man must figure out how to earn money.

Making your own money and getting self sufficient is a non negotiable for all men.

You have to obey who pays for your food and shelter.

To truly become independent a man must not depend on anyone for his survival.

3. A man must gain full control of his lust.

A man who can control his desires is a man free one of the most dangerous weapons used against men.

Women.

A man driven by lust is used by women as a slave.

4. A man must gain mental toughness, emotional stability and physical strength in his 20s.

These are every man's prime years, he can be anything he wants to be in these golden years.

This is when he understands his dependence on testosterone and optimizes it for life.

5. A man must gain command over his rage, anger, ruthlessness, kindness, love, patience and his tongue.

The right use of these at the right times can make him the best man alive.

Any man who fails in life is because he lost control of one or more of these.

6. A man should be knowledgeable about the 3 dark triads.

Identifying these in himself or in others

will help him excel in life.

He can use people's nature to his advantage in almost all situations

7. Most importantly, a man must figure out how to identify good women.

Choosing a wife is the most important

decision of a man's life.

He can't get this wrong or everything else is spoiled by this.

He must know by the age 25, how to live with women and how to lead them.

How to not compromise with your respect, honor or goals while leading her.

Be it from heartbreak or teachings from a good mentor.

A man must know this all.

Celebrities / Building A Brand That Will Be Competitive Globally- Dr. Benard Omoyeni by DejiPlug(m): 7:37am On May 26, 2023
Palmadex Global Integrated Services Ltd, a multi-award-winning non-oil agro-export company founded by Dr. Benard Omoyeni with 6 Portfolios namely export investment, export consultancy, export of non-oil agricultural products and raw materials, export of African/Nigerian Foods, Wood Processing, Farming and Export Training Academy in this interview with Daniels Ekugo and GODSPOWERPROJECT, shares his experience and what Palmadex Group, offers.

Praise GOD

Ques: Can we take a peep how Palmadex group started?

Ans: Palmadex started in 2015 and was inspired by God in the year 2014, we began the registration with the CAC, and by March 10, 2015, an official Certificate was issued and we began operation once we secured the CAC and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) Certificates, so by now we are 8 years in operation.

Ques: Palmadex is regarded as Nigeria’s top exporter of Hibiscus, how do you source Hibiscus for export?

Ans
: Hibiscus is a crop that grows in the northern part of Nigeria, essentially from North Central, East and West. Our strategy is that we have our base in the north, precisely Kano State and from there we have chains of suppliers, by our agreements, we commissioned them to source for this product, we are talking about from the farm to our warehouse and there are different approaches to that, in some places, some suppliers may go to the warehouse and in some places in the hinterland and we aggregate those products to the warehouse where we now do our processing before we export.

Ques: What are the challenges you face from the sourcing to the exporting part of your business?

Ans:
Major challenges revolves around the regular logistic challenges, given the distance from the North East, and or the condition of our roads, security issues and so sometimes breach of agreement by our local suppliers. Road challenges is top on the list because you have to use vehicles, use other companies, you are not doing all these by yourself and then the potential for some of them to breach agreement on the part of the other service providers – cases of delays, cases of people attempting to do away with your goods, people coming in with stories that affect your timeline. Given the condition of our road network, there has been instances where trucks were held in one particular place for weeks, those are part of the challenges, and this kind is beyond our control.

Ques: How have you been able to surmount these challenges?

Ans:
Can we say we surmounted them? I can’t say out rightly Yes, because the road conditions remains the same, but in terms of the logistic companies we use, we make sure we use a reputable company. Companies that are credible, so when we get them, you are now overcoming the challenges of hearing multiple excuses.

Ques: In recent time, Nigeria witnessed a fundamental financial downturn, as an exporter how did you source out for Forex?

Ans:
As an exporter, ordinarily we are not expected to face Forex challenges because we don’t depend on the Forex to do our job, as a matter of fact, we add value to the economy, we bring in forex to boost the economy but the challenge is where the value of the naira is depreciating against the dollar for instance, so the cost of goods locally also increase which might affect out projection of what we have already planned, which may mean you will operate at a loss or sometimes try to break even in what we use as a benchmark.

Ques: Palmadex is a non-oil product exporter, what steps have you been taking to sustain the tempo?

Ans:
GOD has helped us primarily; we always talked about the GOD factor. GOD has helped us tremendously beyond that, our own efforts as an organization, we have in place systems, policies and procedures that are standardized, that helps us to operate, giving our core values of integrity of trust. We have been able to carve ourselves a niche in the business, we have gained a reputation of been an export company of choice by reason of the value we have added, clients are attesting to it that we are reliable and we have made sure we remain same even when our profit threshold is threatened. Our focus is building a brand that will be competitive globally and that has kept us going.

Ques: Let us look at your entrepreneurial journey and accomplishments?

Ans
: The entrepreneurial journey has not been entirely smooth, of course as a business that is starting off, there were challenges that confronted us, but we have been able to surmount the initial teething problem, and we are moving on our pace. In our case we look at milestones, our accomplishment, we look at major things we have achieved. We have been able to have our offices two other nations of the world – Vietnam, Dubai, we have robust client base spread accross the six continents of the world. The positive feedback from our clients accross the globe reinforces our position as export company of choice, In addition we have been enlisted as member of various international organisations like International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), we are the first export company in Nigeria to be enlisted member of ICC. We have been recognized by obtaining various awards as best export performing company, that for us is our achievement, for us to have maintained our operation against all business challenges in the last years that for us also is an achievement, so we have continued to increase our portfolio. We began with just having a portfolio but now we have six portfolios amongst them we have farm – mechanized farming, export academy, export consultancy, export investment etc, so for us these are key milestones that we have achieved in the last 8 years.

Ques: As a globally recognized firm, what is your projection in the next 6 years?

Ans:
Our projection for the next five years is to take over the world as Corporate multi-national organization pursuant to our vision of being the global export trading partner of choice, delivering superior services through integrity, efficiency and reliability in the international value chain.

Ques: As an entreprenuer, what is your assessment of doing business in Nigeria?

Ans:
My assessment is very simple and direct, it is quiet challenging doing business in Nigeria. The business climate is not quite favourable, not supportive. It takes a strong businessman to remain in business here. There are lot of external factors that are beyond your control that you have to surmount to remain in business –economic policies, insecurity, unstable market price regimes, labour related concerns, right personnel to work with, financial support that is not readily available, so these are the challenges and they are quiet enormous.

Ques: If you are opportuned to write a bill to the National Assembly, what will that be?

Ans:
If I am to propose a bill, it is a bill for provision financial support to SMEs. We hear of government grants in some instances, but we need to do more and be practical. If you compare us to some world economies, where you can get as low as zero digit interest rate, in some countries 2 per cent to 3 per cent but in Nigeria we are talking about 23 – 27 per cent, so imagine you have an Act that makes SMEs loan available at 2 per cent? That will provide access to fund and boost investment in SME businesses and will encourage people to go into entrepreneurship

Ques: What is your CSR activities within the years of operation?

Ans
: We have our CSR policy, annually we have a budget for CSR. One key one we do is scholarship. We have been able to partner with the Julius Omoyeni Foundation for Educational Development, a Foundation that runs an annual scholarship programs, we also set aside some funds for social investment opportunities that comes across to us. We have a dream to build hospitals, roads, provide water and we believe we are getting there.

Ques: How much is Palmadex worth?

Ans
: Palmadex is a multi billion naira organisation. Our staff strength is growing in bounds, we have direct staff and support staffs. Our direct staff is about 20 while our support and indirect staffs is above 170. We have continued to add value to employment and wealth creation, boosting the socio economic development of Nigeria as a business.

Celebrities / Low-interest Rate In Nigeria Will Create Opportunities For Businesses – Palmadex by DejiPlug(m): 7:00am On May 25, 2023
PM News story

Dr. Benard Adedotun Omoyeni , Managing Director of the award-winning export company, Palmadex Global Integrated Services Ltd, has identified high interest rate in Nigeria as a factor that reduces the efficiency of doing business in Nigeria.

Dr Omoyeni who spoke to PM News said the challenges in Nigeria’s troubled economy would largely be addressed with access to investment capital at low-interest-rate, this according to him will stimulate interest in investment in services and production activities by big corporations and SMEs.

Manufacturers and industries in the country have continued to lament that the harsh operating business environment which has remained challenging and is affecting the productivity and competitiveness . Entrepreneurs have to contend with rising production costs due to structural and institutional limitations.

“With a low interest rate in Nigeria, businesses will have the opportunity to raise cheap capital while those with existing bonds that were raised when rates were about 15-18 percent can restructure their debt.

Interest rates in Nigeria have always been high due to the monetary system since 2009, which sought to use FGN bonds/T-bills and OMO bills as a means of attracting US dollars into the country to stabilise the naira.

Dr Omoyeni said though the challenges persisted, they did not deter foreign direct investment into the country, as investors daily explore the country for investment purposes. Imagine the volume of investment that would have been attracted to Nigeria had the business environment been friendly.

In addition, Dr Omoyeni stressed that “Businesses may generally be affected by regional security threats such as those caused by separatist movements in the southeast and pastoral conflicts in the central north. In particular, manufacturing SMEs may also face extortion and harassment from hoodlums in their host community.

Business and startup owners in the country will have a hard time dealing with rising inflation, higher borrowing rates and a fast depreciating currency as ease of doing business worsens in Africa’s largest economy.

He recommends that the Federal government review its fiscal and monetary policies through the appropriate agencies having in mind the desire to promote growth and proliferation SMEs in the country, this will obviously translate into employment, Job creation and socio economic growth of the nation

Is Nigeria safe?

First
LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD-

I presently live in Lagos. My neighbourhood is cool, with medium to top earners, and we often get the luxury of uninterrupted power for a few days.

It's a less crowded, less noisy part of the island, and I even have the luxury of fresh air straight from the ocean only that the wind is often too strong, causing me to wake several times in the night because it hits the windows and shakes the roof just too much.

If you were to come and attack me right now, it would be me against you, except some neighbours chose to help, and they mostly help but don't try, I've got some belt in Karate, and I schooled in Delta, that's like the training ground for Street-Sense.

I do not have the emergency number of the police; neither will they come in time if I did call.

They have traffic and other hurdles that could prevent them from coming. And from experience, they are known to show up after a day or two when you made that call, and even then, you have to be careful, so they don't pin something on you to try and milk you dry.

If people in such neighbours can't depend on the police, what else could be said about those in beat-up neighbourhoods?

But this story is entirely different in some parts of Nigeria, for example, Bayelsa State. When I make that phone call, it takes only about five minutes for two or three police vans to show up for my rescue.

Part of the reason being that they have unofficial state-owned police, recruited from the regular police force. They are far more effective and reliable than the federally managed police.

There are talks about given state governments the power to own and manage their police force. Still, the federal government is worried that the ruling state government might have too much control over the police, using them to inflict pain on the opposition.

And I've lived in cities like Abuja, Akure and Jos where I did not need police because people seem calm and peaceful.

Security in Nigeria is entirely based on the part of Nigeria you're in, it's okay, manageable or worse based on your location.

I find Nigerians to be quite peaceful, what else would you say about a people who can't depend on the police but manage to live in relative peace and harmony?

You would be fine if you don't go out late at night. Don't display luxury in the wrong neighbourhood, and when out in the open, always go with the crowd; they're rarely wrong.

I am my police. My neighbour is my backup.

Celebrities / What Is The Difference Between B.C. And B.C.E.? by DejiPlug(m): 7:49am On May 22, 2023
Nothing.

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

Those are simply two different abbreviations for exactly the same thing.

B.C. stands for ‘Before Christ’, and it SPECIFICALLY a Christian reference.

B.C.E. stands for ‘Before the COMMON ERA’, and is religion-neutral.

For dates during the current ‘common era’, the Christian referent is ‘Year of the Lord’ (AD, Anno Domini).

The religion-neutral referent is C.E. : Common Era

There is otherwise no difference. Date values (numbers) do not change.

The year 1066 AD and the year 1066 CE are the same year, and the year 753 BC and 753 BCE are the same year.

This is 2022, whether you refer to it as ‘AD’ or as ‘CE’.

So you see. Nothing actually.

Celebrities / 8 Ways To Build Discipline. by DejiPlug(m): 7:41am On May 22, 2023
IF YOU LACK DISCIPLINE, READ THIS:

But First
, LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

1. If you want to live a happy and successful life, you can't rely on motivation.
Motivation will fail you. Discipline will keep you going.

2. Excuses will make today easy but the future harder.
Discipline is harder today but makes the future easier.
Choose your hard.

3. Choose your goals and write them down.
You must have a clear vision of where you're going or you'll get lost.

4. Focus on the habit, not the outcome.
Say "I'll exercise 4 times a week" instead of saying "I'll lose 0,5 kilograms a week"

5. Prioritize quality sleep. 7-8 hours of sleep every night is crucial.
Get to bed early and wake up early.
Getting up early will make you more disciplined.

6. You need to say "no" more often. Taking on too many tasks will make you feel overwhelmed.
Your time and energy are limited. Every time you say yes to someone else, you say no to yourself.
Prioritize wisely.

7. Just start. Most dreams are killed before they even get going.
Imperfect action is much better than no action. You'll never feel ready.
Break down your goal into smaller steps, set deadlines, and stop over-complicating.

8. Forgive yourself. We all make mistakes.
Don't let mistakes stop you. It's never a failure as long as you learn the lesson and keep going.

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

John 6v44-51.

Whenever I invite people to church, I sometimes hear people say "na my relationship with GOD matter pass". Which to me sounds insulting because Jesus is the reason you have that relationship with GOD in the first place.

Kindly follow this illustration

Femi takes Bayo to see his office and introduces Bayo to his MD. Along the line, MD takes a liking to Bayo and decides to retain friendship with him. So Femi goes on with his routine while Bayo and MD become best buddies.

Fast-forward to weeks later, Bayo begins to feel superfly and act unbecoming towards Femi because he is now friends with MD. Till he (Bayo) misbehaves and MD kicks him out.

Who's going to plead on Bayo's behalf?

GOD is the MD of Life
Femi is Jesus

Politics / Celebrating Oko Faji, Lagos Chief Lawal Babatunde Adams At 60. by DejiPlug(m): 9:36pm On May 19, 2023
Celebrating Erudite Kosemani of Oko Faji, Lagos Chief Lawal Babatunde Adams @ 60.

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD

By: Fashina Shakiru

In one of the quotes of Williams Shakespeare, “ingratitude is worse than a traitor’s arm”. It is pertinent to use this occasion to call on the attention of the state government to look into this great-man who brought Okoo Faji community to the centre stage of Encyclopedia and Amazon, Dr. Lawal Babatunde Adams. The Kosemani of Oko Faji, Lagos. He is worth to be commended for his relentless efforts, both home and diaspora.

An enigma with an immense outstanding personality. A very admirable, gentle fine man with a distinguished character. He had a most precocious growth and excelled in academics, connoisseur scholar, a prolific writer, historian, sociologist, politician and socialite, earned his innumerable streaks in the world.

As a pacesetter, he was able to set in motion and reposition the image of Oko Faji, support the indigenous Lagosians, served tirelessly, contribute to the social development of Oko Faji and Lagos state in general. He used his works to put some of our local indigenous communities on the world map.

He went out of his way to set up “Season Smiling” for the community to support less privileges and old aged vulnerable Lagosians with over 1000 beneficiaries. A man who always has the answers to your problems. Whilst you see the concern, he sees the prospect and the possibility. He will go out of his way to give you the best support possible. He is a perfect description of a joy giver, never one to be found in the court of bitterness and feebly compassionate, turn anger to laughter in seconds.

The enormous contributions of chief Adams to the cultural and historical heritage of his people earned him the title Koshemani Golden Son of Oko Faji Community, Lagos and his works on the promotion and propagation of Islam in Lagos state earned him a recent title 'Irawo Adinni Lagos Quranic Central Mosque'. A proud son of Isale Igangan and despite his exposures to the International world, he is always proud of his country (Nigeria).

He was clearly a shining light in those days at Ansar -Ud- Deen Grammar School, Lagos. He went to the prestigious Lagos State University (LASU) to study Sociology and equally went to the University of Lagos (Unilag) for his M.Sc. Criminology. Shortly, Lectured at the Lagos State University, Department of Sociology before being a consultant to Toronto University, Canada on community health development. To his credit, he has written and published many community books about Lagos state and its environment.

In Yoruba progeria, a king does not need to announce his arrival, aura will announce. The presence of this man of honour in any environment will illuminate it. Today, Friday 19th, May 2023, the aura sparks a brighter light as the Chief marks the Diamond Jubilee of achiever with more blessings and good health. Chief Adams's legacy shall speak for humanity and generations to come in the history of Lagos Islanders.

On this occasion sir, today, I celebrate you as sons and daughters of Okoo Faji community rejoice with you on your special day, wishing a most fulfilling happy 60th birthday!

Congratulations.
