RevDesmondJuju:you can have your own opinion but you cannot have your own facts.pray tell how the increased furnishing leads to such an exponential rise in fuel consumption.a jet can be customised to suit the needs of the owner but it doesn't mean the fuel consumption increases like it does with luggage |
RevDesmondJuju:a commercial jet has provisions of more seats from 160 and above while a business jet like eagle one can't have more than 50-60 seats.its inconceivable to assume a business jet costs more per flight than a business jet.its outright false.a passenger flight has to input so many fees into its hour such as hangar fees, pilot and flight attendants fees, luggage per passenger and other fees to regulatory and airport agencies.the presidential aircraft doesn't contend with such.it foesnt pay hangar fees neither does it pay pilots since they are seconded from the Nigerian airforce.there is rarely ever any luggage to carry so I would agree with the cost of operation per hour of 4,404doLlars per hour. I can understand the frustration of nigerians when we hears billions been expended on presidential crafts and I quite agree the PAF should be reduced to a maximum of 2 aircrafts but that doesn't mean we should turn fact on its head.eagle one isn't airforce one which is supposed to be an office on its own and costs $181,000 per hour to operate.but despite its high cost,it is a necessity for the POTUS just as eagle one is a necessity for the office of the president of Nigeria. |
gezzyvinci:so long as you have the proper documents, the major question will be "has the said housing estate been completed and commissioned?".if no,then you will have to wait till it's completed and allocation is done.but before then, you will need to ensure there are proper court documents stating who the beneficiary of his estate is.if the estate has been completed and allocation was done but your father was bypassed,it means some sharp practices took place.with your documents in hand, contact a good lawyer and take up the case and you can be rest assured, you will get the property. |
TonyeBarcanista:is MEND a social group?or a pressure group?or perhaps you consider them a religious organization. |
TonyeBarcanista:all in due time |
chukwudi44:it's not for Emir Sanusi to sttate how much is missing.he did his job by informing the president of discrepancies he noticed and what did the president do?he suspended him.Mrs Iweala stated at the senate hearing that 10.8 billion dollars was yet to be accounted for and afew weeks later, the NNPC said it spent that sum on an illegal kerosene subsidy and it's own running expenses.the PWC audit indicated thatt almost 2billion dollars was missingand tIs depite the fact it was denied access to required data.that alone established that money was stolen.a full investigation will reveal how much and by whom |
OfoIgbo:am I the only one that notice the report was published in 2006?has everyone also forgotten that the federal government took over the stake of the ado bayero family in intels?has it become stale news that intels employs over 60,000 nigerians in lagos, warri, onne and calabar?while it has no single office in the north except a residential estate in abuja? Every business entity wants to maximise profit.but to tribalise such issues makes no sense |
yinkaoke:since its excluding the cost of the land, its very possible especially if the land is very dry then he won't need filling.the picture below is a 3bedroom bungalow which is in an area that needed quite a lot of filling sand.as at now,i think we have spent less than 2million and we have finished plastering and fixing the iron doors, burglary proof and windows.the initial estimate for the roof was almost 750k but we were able to reduce that by going to the forest in satellite town to get coconut trees to be sawed into 2x3 and 2x4.that alone reduced the estimate by almost 200k. So in reality,2million isn't a bad budget but he wwill need to either do the construction himself or put someone he trusts and won't have to pay in charge.

Carlcaresophia:I have called all the phone numbers for the offices in digital square and opebi and they have been switched off since friday.i cannot make the long trip just to drop my phone number.i sent an email to service@carlcare.com and didn't get a response.is there another phone number apart from those you listed by which I can contact the centre to inquire as to when the screen will be available |
Carlcaresophia:good day.i made a long journey to carlcare to get the screen of my x551 fixed only to be told it's not in stock.i went to digital square and also went to opebi and got same response.when will the screen be available? |

opribo:I accept the fact the man should be applauded for conceding and saving the country from chaos.but did Assad lose an election?its wrong for the west to assume they can replace leaders of sovereign nations whenever they decide |
opribo:why should Assad "bow out" after winning a new 5year term? |
sunychuks:pray tell which part of the constitution says the jets belong to him.where do they get you people from? |
Larryfest:who allowed them?they can as well move their things to aso rock and continue to attend functions reserved from the president |
California30:do former presidents of America use airforce one?president GEJ can only use a jet from the presidential fleet if president Buhari allows it.its called a presidential fleet, not a fleet for all leaders past and present.obasanjo, babangida, gowon etc cannot have access to the presidential fleet and same applies to jonathan.he will definitely be accorded certain number of security personnel as befitting his status as a former leader which is enshrined in the constitution If indeed, president Jonathan made use of a presidential jet to Tanzania, then credit should go to both he and president Buhari for the spirit of cooperation. This shouldn't be sensationalised |
The abandoned structure stands on half plot of land and was acquired at a cost of 1.3million naira.the location is less than 5mins drive from the Badagry expressway and the only constraint was that the area is a little marshy but when considered vis a vis buying dry land in the same area, this was a much better option.half plot of dry land in the Ojo axis costs between 2million to 8million depending on the location. The pictures below show the structure when it was purchased

Good day all.I decided to create a thread on a project we are carrying out.this will be the first time I will be doing such and the reason I decided to do this at this time is because a lot of ideas we used on this project and others before it came from this forum.the project has been on for about 3months but I will try my best to be as chronological as possible. Thanks The pictures below show the property when we acquired it.the location is ayetoro-ijanikin,otto-awori LCDA,Ojo,LAgos.the same neighbourhood where the lagos state government Ijanikin rose garden residential scheme is located. Project began in August 2015 and the as at today,we have begun plastering. Budget-3million

merry02:the electoral act as amended in 2011 states that all appeals of governorship elections end at the court of appeal.the supreme court can non longer entertain governorship election cases except pre-election cases |
laudate:the topic calls it a petition |
Deltagiant:I guess comprehension of basic English is a problem for certain people.if not,I wonder how anyone in his right senses will call that letter of inquiry a petition.the MP is duty-bound to make such inquiries when she is notified that a British citizen resident in her borough has been imprisoned outside Britain.she clearly stated in her letter that she will like to know why he was imprisoned and the details of the process.how does that become a petition?she didn't even ask for his release neither did she make any request of intervention from Hammond's office.she simply asked for information on the details and some ignorant people think that's proof that their director is connected internationally?this borders on poverty of the mind |
liberty300:another round of chest beating |
kingzizzy:Igbo's cannot conduct cultural affairs that conflict with the cultural affairs that exist in a place where they are visitors.the Deji of Akure is constitutionally back to dethrone lesser kings in his domain talkless of an illegal and unrecognized Eze ndigbo in akure. |
kingzizzy:what sort of senselessness is this?perhaps you don't know Nigeria has passed its antiterrorism law and according to that law, just thinking about committing a crime or inciting others to commit a crime related to terrorism is treason.not to mention actively encouraging people to kill and maim people.the law now seeks to prevent crimes from been committed by nabbing the would be terrorists before they strike. I am even surprised KANU was granted bail.he should have been held for 2days,allowed a visit by his attorney and then held indefinitely which would be in accordance with the anti terrorism law of 2011. all those biafrans that keep listing the examples of Scotland and Catalonia while at the same time advocating violence against the Nigerian state are as ignorant as the people of south Sudan.did Scotland engage in threats of violence?has Catalonia called Spain a zoo with people from other parts been animals? advocates of a war of secession shouldn't compare 2015 with 1967.in 1967,ojukwu was a GOC of a section of the army with control over arms and men,a pogrom had just happened and tensions were high which saw massive influx of Igbo's back to the southeast which made a large pool of able bodied men available for drafting into the biafran army.this is 2015.we are in a democracy which means the president has absolute control over the military so unless there is a plan for a coup by the Igbo's,followed by a massive return of all Igbo's to the east,I wonder what Magic the ipob expect to perform militarily. Scotland isn't a good example for biafrans because Scotland already had its own government.it simply wanted to leave the united kingdom and be on its own.and for those ipob people who don't know, the scottish move failed because of the Scots who live within Scotland majority of who are connected to the business of scotch which in reality is almost every major business in Scotland.there are laws in place which were enacted by the united kingdom to protect the scotch industry by making it the exclusive preserve of the people of Scotland to produce Scotch within the UK and all over Europe and the Americas.there were fears that if Scotland breaks away,Salmon and his new government won't have the clout to maintain those treaties which will mean scotch could be produced everywhere else.a move which will destroy the Scottish economy. I believe a referendum for Biafra will fail just like scotland because those Igbo's who maintain their livelihood in other parts of the country will vote against it.even the Igbo's within proposed Biafra who depend moving their goods to other parts of Nigeria will. vote against it because a break means more conditions before they can sell their goods. my two cents |
tinkinjow:the law isn't difficult to interprete but at the same time,it shouldn't be interpreted literarily.wherever the constitution says "where no return has been received/made" it simply means where no response has been gotten, the action for which the response was sought can proceed.there cannot be a lacuna.so if the senate doesn't confirm or reject amaechi after 21 working days, the president can proceed to make him a minister. It's the same with when the senate sends a bill for the president's assent, even if he witholds assent after 21days,the bill becomes law if after another round of debate on the floor of the senate it garners a 2/3 majority vote and the signature of the president isn't needed anymore. Hope this explains it |
Delafruita: |
chukwudi44:I suppose you know the mind of the Senate president hence your notion that he isn't on the same page with the presidency.all the eighteen nominees that have been screened have been confirmed even the nominee from kwara state was screened without any drama.is there any indication that saraki is against the executive? even if the senate rejects amaechi, the president can and will present his name again at a later time.but that is a hypothetical situation as amaechi will be confirmed next week when the panel submits it's one line report |
chukwudi44:amaechi will be confirmed as a minister and in the event that he is rejected, the presidency will simply play a fast one on the senate by sending a nomination before the senate goes on recess and after 21 working days, confirm amaechi as a minister.all that is needed is for the senate president to be on board.simply put, there are options for buhari if he insists on making amaechi minister |
SupremeXYZ:there is idiocy and there is you.I dare say no adjectives exist yet to define you.what normal human being doesn't understand that Eze ndigbo akure means king of Igbo's in akure?does that then mean the Deji of akure has to share his subjects with the Eze ndigbo akure?all the Igbo's in akure are subjects of the Deji of akure so long as they remain within his domain.so who does Eze ndigbo in akure rule over if not the same people who are subjects of the Deji of akure?he sees himself as an equal which is why he will visit the deji's palace with his crown and beads |
BushidoBlue:he wore his crown and beads to this palace and was dispossessed of them by the youths.his arrogance was clear which led to him been disciplined.in Yoruba land, our traditional rulers have to come from a royal family and there is a rite of succession that comes with a territory, how does someone proclaim himself Eze ndigbo in akure?over which territory?who crowned him?who are his subjects?even if he is the Eze ndigbo as selected by his Igbo brethren,he has no right to wear his crown before the Deji of akure.does he assume he is equal to the Deji? |
