Jonathan did very well to rile you up by making people waste time at the Confab, just go and listen to the people that went. Have you even looked at the details of the recommendations? If anything it's the northern interests that dominate it.
Even with that, Jonathan after calling people together to provide recommendations, set up another committee to provide recommendations on the recommendations . Please does this man sound like he's interested in implementing any Confab? Don't be silly, if anything there should be another SS man you can vote for but don't delude yourself with the confab nonsense. What has this barbarian eaten? It is you the yorubas with incomplete nuts in your brain region that were against the conference and later jumbed into it, one because you want the money like your Tifnu.bu who has enslaved all of you and two sees the conference as essential. Your Buhari and Thiefnu.bu will never rule this country. The outcome of that conference will be implimented so that all those rubbish oppresive acts of you the yorubas and Hausas will stop. Thievies. You think you will continue to milk away what you do not produce. These people of other regions are very wise now. When you rejected the producer of oil the VP post and still want to win the elections so that you will continue to enslave them. No way. Mark somewhere, Buhari will never rule. |

cramjones: Here is a breakdown of monies that have been wasted by GEJ:
1. Over $40 million were distributed to Pastors and other Christian leaders
2. Over $25 million were distributed to Imams in the North
3. Over $20 million were distributed to traditional leaders accross the country. Each traditional leader in the South West received between $250,000 to $300,000 from the President
4. Each rally costed at least $10 million: This includes, payment of about N500 - N3000 ($3 - $17) to mobilize "supporters", security, logistics, private jet transports etc. Multiply by at least 30 states will give over $300 million!!!
5. Media houses were bribed with millions, we were not privy to how much each received, but we can category say that AIT was given a check of $45 million to do their hatchet jobs.
6. Social media campaigns has gulped another $50 millions: This includes payment for short youtube videos, nairaland campaigns, twitter and facebook paid groups. Payment of people like Fani Kayode, Okupe, Omokri, Abati, bloggers like Linda Ikeji and others.
7. Another $8 million each was paid to each PDP governor for "mobilization" of their people and various stakeholders
8. Each minister received at least $1m - $2m for mobilization as well.
9. Several diasporan organizations have received a total of $3 million. These organizations are mainly based in the UK, United States and Canada.
10. Legal fees has gulped over $15 million
11. $10million was reserved for Foreign media "mobilization". Fani Kayode and others did their best to see how they could win Foreign media, unfortunately the only media that accepted Op-Ed or campaign related posts were the Washington Post and Washington Times. When it caused so much uproar, WP declined further publications. Also unfortunately for GEJ and his team. The US and UK govt are not in support of his Presidency, and major Foreign media like the New York Times and The Economist ALWAYS check with their governments before a major article is written about other foreign governments. Hence the duo supporting General Mohammadu Buhari.
In summary, after putting all the estimates we have, the GEJ government has literally squandared National wealth in the excess of $1billion to win a disgruntled public that only wants change!
We can do this - enough of incompetence, insensitivity, corruption and crass negligence of duty. We must change the status quo.
March 28 is the date. Let us come out and put our stamps on CHANGE!

GEJ may have his faults but you cannot say that he is doing NOTHING.
Nigeria is more or less back to the building stage and when you build, you lay the blocks one at a time making sure that the alignments are correct to ensure a strong foundation and ultimately a solid structure.
The problem is that Nigerians are looking for a leader who will rebuild the country overnight but we know that any building that is raised and completed overnight will eventually crumble when day breaks and the whole thing will be back to step one. We are so used to doing a lot of quick fixes in this country and that has led us to this point but now is the time to address issues properly. Hence, it may take some time to see the results of what GEJ has been doing.
As far as this election is concerned, the opposition will get more votes than the last time but the final victory is still tilting towards the current administration. Your analysis is so powerful. So intersting especially where you say the opposition will get more votes but will not win the election. No normal correct persons will, especially in Africa and indeed in Nigeria, that one Buhari will win election. For where? agabusta: This is quite laughable! And at the same time calls for sombre reflection. Why are we so desperate as a people to the extent that some will not will not mind playing the hatchet role of scuttling the general elections. Why is Africa so cursed with many shallow, myopic and desperate looters?
We as a people need to dedicate time to doing a research on this. It is now that elections are about to start after an initial postponement that a faceless group thought it worthwhile to use a legal loophole INEC overlooked to push for a postponement of the elections.
People kindly note that these guys did not challenge the reasons INEC gave for not registering them, they cunningly challenged the non-communication of non-registration after the stipulated 30 days. Govt agencies are ridiculously slow in correspondence due to different bureaucratic bottlenecks. It is this loophole that this irrelevant party wants to now use to destabilise INEC.
Funny enough, there is another angle to this. INEC as everybody expects is supposed to have appealed the judgement immediately and file for a maintenance of status quo until the determination of the appeal. But guess what, INEC claims it is yet to even officially receive the judgement let alone file it's appeal. Does that mean some people are deliberately slowing down the process of communicating the judgement to INEC so as to delay INEC from filing an appeal as quickly as possible?
INEC is yet to get the earlier judgement and the party is already getting ready to go to the courts again to get another order mandating INEC to comply with the earlier judgement.
All these are games actively supported by the PDP underneath to scuttle the elections. But they will all amount to fruitless efforts as the elections will hold as rescheduled. There is nothing the desperate PDP can do about it!
The INEC chairman has already stated it that the constitution is supreme! Though i'm not a lawyer but I think there is a legal provision in respect of a conflict between the constitution and other statutes/judgement that makes the constitution to have priority.
What this imply is that INEC can conveniently ignore this judgement and later claim in court that obeying the judgement will contravene the constitutional requirements for general elections and the May 29th hand over date.
