vicadex07: For pro-GEJites the 2015 campaign is about Buhari, Buhari and Buhari. For pro- GMBites the 2015 campaign is about Nigeria, Nigeria & Nigeria.
Questions for Jonathan and PDP 1. Why was (is) "Boko Haram" busy destroying states and areas that the opposition party will win convincingly in the presidential election? 2. If we are to believe that the opposition were the brains and architects of "Boko Haram", then why is it that they have never ever attacked and destroyed any prominent PDP figure or their properties? 3. If the opposition have the capability of arming "terrorists" with armour tanks, RPGs, AA Guns, military uniforms, military trucks, helicopters and the ability to command soldiers to vanish from military checkpoints, wouldn't they have targeted to destroy PDP strongholds and their assets? 4. Why would the opposition seek to destroy their own strongholds anyway? To achieve what? 5. Why was (is) "Boko Haram" targeting to destroy basically only prominent northern politicians and their traditional rulers and their communities? 6. In the light of questions 1 to 5 above, why has there been a deliberate campaign of lies and propaganda by the PDP and their religious wing that collect bribes in billions of naira that "Boko Haram" is the baby of the opposition? 7. Of all the cars used by "suicide" bombers retrieved from the scene of their attacks, to whom were the cars traced after forensic investigations? Why is it that nothing is ever heard after such evidences have been collated at the scenes since 2011? 8. At the last count, over 500 hundred "Boko Haram" suspects have been in detention since 2009, but why is it that government hasn't been able to come clean on those sponsoring the "terrorists", and why is it that, with such a huge treasure trove, government has not been able to know and curtail the operational methods of the "terrorists"? 9. Why did the "terrorists" become stronger after a scandalous 33 billion dollars (over 4 trillion naira) was expended on the so called war against them? 10. Isn't it curious and suspicious that a ragtag group called "Boko Haram" whose bulk of fighters possibly had only one week trainings could overcome and overrun our military men who spend 5 years in the NDA, some months in Jaji, and some months also at the National War College in Abuja apart from several overseas trainings? 11. Why was it that, at a point from 2013, the Nigerian military was not taking the war to "Boko Haram" camps in the deserts of the northeast instead of waiting for "Boko Haram" to come on the offensive? 12. Since when has repulsion become the best form of defence instead of attack? 13. Why did "Boko Haram" have the most freedom to operate and destroy so many towns and villages during all the period of State of Emergency that was supposed to have made them immobile? 14. Was the State of Emergency some fraud pulled off to empower the "terrorists" and make the targeted communities sitting ducks for easy elimination? 15. Who was providing "Boko Haram" with fuel and other logistics in their camps considering how they easily move with long convoys of trucks to operate without challenge? These are not the only questions.... There are many more. But they've not been able to answer any of these, rather they always want to heap their scheme on others. These questions and many more could be the reason they are mortally scared of losing political power. But it just can't continue like this anymore. Change is a basic constant in life. dust |

justhelp: It just a pity that some people some where does not want Nigeria to move forward, its a simple fact that Gej happen to be our president by mistake and his destiny, he did not have the leadership skills and attributes to be our President not even the vice president, that is why he could not command respect in his own cabinet, when he talks they will not take him serious or how can you explain the immigration employment scam under GEJ he even as them to return the money they refuse, almost all his minister are corrupt cos they feel his also corrupt no one took him serious, now they are begging Nigeria youth to apply for the same immigration exercise they duped us. If you are a youth of this great country and you really want to live a meaningful life no one will tell you not to vote GEJ i mean your school of thought must have, if you dont want your unborn child to go through the hardship you are going through no one will tell you to vote out GEJ your instinct must have, if you really know that change is inevitable and it is possible we can achieve it, this is the right time for you to fight for what is just and right.
I did not collect a dime from any political party, but come to think of something, when do you think we the people of Nigeria will benefit from democracy ? our govt teacher told us that when the ruling party has strong opposition they will be forced to work or else they will loose next election then they will also become opposition, the new ruling party have no choice than to deliver. they will be exposing their weaknesses and corrupt acts, until these happens the people will never benefit from Democracy.
God really want to answer our prayer and wants to deliver us from PDP that is why He gave us GEJ knowing that he will make the party weaker and allow opposition to gain ground, this wouldn't have possible if we have more intelligent president like OBJ, this is the first time in the history of Nigeria democracy when the ruling party do not want election to hold because they will loose with a wide margin, so God Loves us all in this country but some of these youth are blind to see the positive side of this Change, even if APC failed, the new opposition party will campaign against them then we vote them out again before you know it one of them will fixed our power problem or refineries, we cant just continue like this and pretend as if things are okay. GEJ has failed, he knows that that is why his is looking for ways to right his wrong at this injury time, but sorry Nigerians minds are made up, they want Change because change is constant. rusts |

Are Nigerians living a higher quality of life now than before because they have access to better, good paying jobs, better healthcare, better education and infrastructure, power or electricity that has removed the need to invest in diesel generators? What is your perception of corruption in the country? Do you feel opportunity is being expanded for all or most of the opportunities in the land is limited to a privilege few who are in government?
Follow links in my signature, NL is blocking any information that does not or may not favour the current government.....? You are wasting your time. How I wished you are a little matured. Whatever GEJ is doing to hold onto power is acceptable. If he likes, he should organise more of those ralies in every big cities. GEJ should spend multiple of that amount for those rallies. Why? When we are ready for a general change, the system, without any leader, doing any thing will carry out that change. As it is today, it is purely survivor of the fittest. Look and evaluate the points below: Obasanjo attacks GEJ in different ways without any single proof. Apc is jubilating over all those fabricated and propaganda and attacks. All those attacks based on purely hate. Boko haram is brought by who? Buhari, Atiku etc. to frustrate GEJ, hence it is used as a weak point against GEJ on every campaign and rallies. Boko will melt off if Buhari becomes president. No single doubt about that fact. But Never. Again, just mark any place near you.Buhari will never rule Nigeria again. He openly told the world of how he will bring about the flow of blood. Ok. tell me when four governors, all from one region decamped in any part of the world? Are you saying you do not know that Nigeria is not ripe enough for a complete change? Why should they decamp? Is GEJ the worst leader? Are you going to deny the 'only me go rule concept?' Abeg make I nor waste time count. So GEJ can spend whatever amount provided he wins. That is the most important. So if GEJ spends the enture federal budget, he should fire down. No problem because, as it is today, we are still in the dark era. Wait until when such a time will come, then no north east man willl undermine any other ethnic group, there will be no boko haram to deliberately frustrate any leader from any region. There will be no Obasanjo(s) an old man to consider causing trouble in the country. In fact, no body will promise blood or two or more governments in ONE country. Pedagogue: @ Op, I just watched that video. Nothing in the video suggests that they were dancing "after the defeat of boko haram". In fact, from their body language, it looks more like they were being 'prepped' and 'motivated' for a battle ahead.
........... May I crave the indulgence of everyone to pour out my mind on what has been boggling me. For you to understand me, I will use a numbered list.
1. I am a Nigerian. I am a Christian. The nature of my work makes it impossible for me to have 'enough time' for social media.
2. I have been following GEJ and Buhari's campaign.
3. I have never, and i beg to repeat, NEVER been this interested in Nigeria's politics, like I am now.
4. The reasons why I'm now keenly interested in the political future of this country is because i believed some of the campaign promises of GEJ. To tell you that I am disappointed is an understatement. Below are some of the reasons why I'm disappointed:
a) I'm tired of a govt that plays politics with everything. Or how can you rationalise the govt's last minute war on boko haram? Where was GEJ when thousands were killed? b)I'm tired of a govt that cited security concerns for not visiting Borno BUT was able to hold a rally in the same Borno that was declared 'unsafe'. c)Power generation is at its lowest ebb. It is as if I live in a different country when i see adverts praising GEJ for bettering power supply. d) Corruption nko? Don't go there...The President is arguably the only President that has not hidden his love for corruption. He surrounds himsef with corrupt people and promotes corrupt people. You doubt me? Alams, Bode George, FFK, Oduah etc all come to mind. e) Education? ASUU was on strike for 6 months. ASUP was on strike for 11 months. Colleges of education were locked for several months...Oh, he established new universities...Does it even make sense? The existing ones are crying for attention and all our President could do was to establish new universities...Ive you been to the Federal University in Oye, Ekiti. You will weep for Nigeria. g) Hospitals....Too bad. Do you know the number of lives that were lost to the incessant strikes of the Health workers... i) No government has polarised Nigeria along ethnic and religious lines like this man...He thinks we can just gloat over his INCOMPETENCE because he's a Xtian and from the South...No way!!!I can go on and on
5. Forget GEJ's pious posture. He's very desperate. He's ready to do anything to win the elections. 6. They think Nigerians are simpletons. They think by paying some youths to write pro- GEJ comments on social media and furthering their propaganda on AIT and co will win them the elections...THEY ARE WRONG. 7. My daily interaction with Nigerians show that MANY cannot wait for MARCH 28... 8. The Presidential election is not about Buhari v GEJ 9. It's about RIGHT v WRONG. 10. Lets face it.The First Term performance of GEJ is his best.No politician has ever performed better in it's Second term.
I cannot wait to vote for Buhari/Osinbajo A full time barbarian |

The House of Representatives was thrown into frenzy as federal lawmakers mitigated a near-fisticuff between the Majority Leader of the House, Mulikat Akande-Adeola (PDP, Oyo) and Hon. Irona Alphonsus Gerald (PDP, Imo).
The bone of contention, it was gathered, may not have been unconnected with an allegation that President Jonathan offered money to aggrieved PDP lawmakers in order to persuade those who lost out at the primaries to remain in the party.
The President was said to have met, selectively, with PDP Caucus in the House last Sunday following the gale of defections by PDP lawmakers to the opposition parties.
Hon. Irona, otherwise quiet and reserved, on Tuesday lost his cool as he stormed towards the seat of the Adeola-Akande on the front row and engaged her in a verbal exchange all the while pointing an accusing finger at her.
Irona spurned his colleagues as he threatened to embarrass the House Leader if she didn't desist from 'defrauding' the lawmakers.
'' I don't like it. This is not the first time you have done that to me. Stop it or I will embarrass you,'' he warned.
The confrontation spurred the Deputy Leader of the House, Hon. Leo Ogor (PDP, Delta), who is traditionally seated beside Adeola-Akande to leave his seat, grab and push Irona away from his boss.
All the while, the Leader remained glued to her seat, too petrified to respond to the verbal attack from Hon. Gerald.
