frank317:Jeez... for you to claim you refuted my assertion is a sign of delusion in itself...take a deep breath...read my assertion again and read your reply as well...how is there any correlation between them? Well... as I said earlier, I don't have enough time to waste on one who not only lack simple comprehension skill but is also blind to see his lapses...Shalom |

frank317:Argh..what!? have I just read what is supposed to be counter response? You were just all over the place yet no input on the discussion whatsoever... I was tempted to believe that this is a diversionary attempt to steer the discussion into another topic entirely but reading your reply all over again convinced me that you couldn't even comprehend the assertion I made...I'm sorry I can't engage you in a somewhat unintelligent discussion...not trying to be a haughty but the truth must be told... |
I find it funny when atheists mock religion and accuse the adherents of having illusion...if one is to sincerely thread the line of atheism then basically everything one does is an illusion and to an extent 'existence' itself is no more than an illusion... From this one can say living as an atheist is in itself an illusion as the universe is not even aware of your 'supposed existence'...So an atheist accusing others of being disillusioned while pursuing basic human needs himself is no less deluded than the those he is spiting... Edit: I thought atheists are supposed to be against any belief in the existence of a 'god' or 'spirit' but here on nairaland athiests are always in 'bromance' with Otematum's and Sonoflucifer's posts even though by atheist standard they are supposed to be 'figment of imagination'...hmmn maybe here atheism is only synonymous to anti-christianity... |
Newly admitted candidates under faculty of environmental sciences who are presently doing their online clearance should endeavour to upload their original Jamb result on the link stated 'Statement of result' to avoid being logged out during your physical clearance...the clearance officer got no joy at all... |
FortifiedCity:On the contrary the guy is just your average joe who was smart enough to know that writing a book to serve the interest of the naturally selfish man will put money into his account than his job then... Infact, he lives a modest life and even confirmed that he doesn't follow the laws himself... |
EweduAfonja:Hmmm...It seems you didn't read this line...."But I announce that anybody who is interested in the destruction of Nigeria, destruction shall never leave his generation. "Whoever and wherever that person is, either in this nation or outside this land because our history told us that nobody ever interested in the destruction of Nigeria ever survived". Don't you think this also explain the silence of your beloved IPOB 'talklord', Kanu who was against Nigeria unity? |
RobinRay:Ugbowo, Benin... |
tinkinjow:.Hmmm....how does the flimsy excuse 'occupying a farmland and disturbing traffic flow' in the same sentence sound to you? what is the correlation between the two excuses?...Ohh I see the next building right beside the church is a farmland! FYI, the Chinese government frowns against religious gathering especially unregistered ones...the demolition of this 'mega' church was done to serve a deterrent to other ones...they sold out this lame excuse to their justify their deed...smell the coffee and quit gulping up this 'white lie' just because it confirms your narrative... Mind you churches don't have the monopoly when its comes to 'blocking the road' or 'disturbing the populace' as you try to paint it, Muslims also do the same if not more. If you are indeed against religious activities, I implore you criticize both religions rather than slyly twisting facts just to whip up sentiment against a particular religion only... |
seunny4lif:and while on that demolition of Nasfat should also follow suit...(winks) |
Edopesin:photocard is the printout(hardcopy) that contains the your exam centre, exam number, subjects selected etc. Some WAEC branches request for it while some don't. |
I read some posts suggesting that GCE certificate could be collected from the school the exam was written...this is false as you can only collect SSCE certificate from schools NOT GCE certificate. It can only be gotten from the WAEC branch office in the STATE YOU WROTE your exam.... The requirements are photo card, result print out and a recent passport photograph. You are also required to pay the sum below according to the year you wrote the exam( culled from WAEC Lagos & Ogun branch office) N3500: 2013- present N8500: 2008- 2012 N13500: 2003- 2007 N18500: 1998- 2002 N23500: previous years- 1997 (Note that N5,000 is being added every four years so I advise you get yours ASAP) Edit: Please house, in as much we love to help others, I implore we check the validity of the information at our disposal before we dish it out to other people.... misinformation may prompt someone to make a wrong decision and you know the implication... |

personal59:SMH..Initially, I wanted to counter those gibberish you wrote up there words for words but I realised that it will be a wasted effort expecting a logical rebuttal from one whose reasoning ability does not go beyond shitposting another person's illogical write-up without critically assessing them first just because it fits his biased narrative....r |
Upnepaa:I dey Lagos. |
GrahamGeorge:Hmmm... a bit of exaggeration there... Yes the Leeco le s3 is sleek phone with great camera and fast helio X20 chipset(mediatek 6797), it has it cons which are mediocre battery(drains too fast) and occasional lagging( Unless you are talking about the other Leeco model with Snapdragon chipset which you can't get for less than N50,000). Also you will get stuck in Android 6.0 unless you root the phone and upgrade to a custom rom which is a bit risky( the Leeco company are indebt and aren't sending update to their phones) Summary: The phone is good for the price but don't get swallowed up in the hype surrounding it. Source: I owned this device before selling it out... |
OlaBa:I reside in Lagos |
blaizy:with a ram of 3gb, a ROM of 32gb and a mediatek chipset of 6737 you are sure of a smooth gaming experience... I have a brand new one with complete accessories for sale at N31,000. It has just arrived from jumia. You can call or chat me up on whatsapp via 08065962867 |
UbanmeUdie:Hmmm...you left logic hanging on the wall just because you wanted to sound funny...The Devil stop being who he IS the day he ever value an ephemeral material over an eternal soul.... |
kidman96:Charlie's statement proved that he doesn't believe in MIRACLES which contradicts the lifestyle of Jesus Christ as a 'miracle worker'... Charlie Boy doesn't believe in 'Miracle', a phenomenon which Jesus Christ performed while on Earth( see John 11vs1- 57), assured his disciples of (see Matthew 10 vs 1) and also recommended to Christians (see Mark 16 vs 15-20) If he can sweep aside 'Miracle', one of the tenets of Christian's belief in God, then he can shove his 'feigned godly' advice down his throat... |
Next2Bezee:Hmmm...telling a fellow man he is senseless just because he holds a contrary view...Christian indeed....back to the topic...read Charlie's comments again without confirmation bias and you will denote that he doesn't believe in MIRACLES which contradicts the lifestyle of Jesus Christ as a 'miracle worker'. If he doesn't believe in 'miracle' a phenomenon which Jesus Christ performed while on Earth and also recommend to his disciple (see Matthew 10 vs 1) then his 'feigned godly' advice to Christians should be taken with a pinch of salt... |
chygoz3:As interesting as your story goes, it is riddled with conjectures...here is my take on this... 1. There are wealthy business tycoons who loves riding 'small' cars and for a MD to have issue with that doesn't sound logical... 2. For a MD to decide to make rash decision base on a 'car' rather than do a background check on the 'man' to know if his is trustworthy shows he is clueless or he is only looking for an excuse(a failed one at that) not to give out the contract to the man... 3. A MD who chose to sacrifice a 'walking idea' that will help bolster the company's status just because he failed to see his 'expected' fancy car is not worth that position... |
stanliwise:Ohh...yes you are right with the word...Combined Honour...but I still stand by my words that Universities that offer Computer Science Education certifies with Bsc(ed). You can check Uniben, Unn etc. on that... |
obisco4u:Computer Science Education is INDEED a double honor course. Check for Computer Education in Uniben, Unn and you will see they offer Bsc(edu). |
dbelovd:And where do you get the viral false narrative that Bill Gate, Mark Zuckerberg and co are Irreligious? Kindly provide the links to affirm your claim that they are Irreligious or quit these false lines... |
Obi1kenobi:Oga your comments are riddled with lies... Can you beat your chest to validity of your claims that ALL MEMBERS of a Church in the 'Civilised' West know about her financial returns and expenditure? If yes, can you name Just one of those churches? If you can, kindly provide the link of that church that made her financial returns and expenditure open for public scrutiny for us to verify... OR shove those made up claims down your throat if you can't do all of these... |
Obi1kenobi:And where did you get the false narrative that tithers are ignorant of things being done with their money? Ooohh... I seeee... you want the Church to give you full details of how the entire money down to the minute token is being spent as an 'ordained external finance auditor by God' right? If you think a denomination isn't being transparent enough about her handling of tithe then don't attend and keep your money to yourself rather than rubbing your 'emotion-laced' opinion on others |
Goodness4525:Hello, though I initially wanted to scroll through this thread as I observed most comments here are riddled with lies to drive up false narratives, your comment prompted this response as it reeks of ignorance.... I implore you to revisit the history of Nigeria. When it comes 'development' the precolonial Nigeria does not hold a touch to what we have at present. Yes we are moving at the pace of a snail thanks to the 'corruption' engrained in our society. Blaming religion for the mess in this country is just a lazy avenue to find the easy way out rather tackle the real problem which is 'corruption' birthed by self-centered nature of the average Nigerian. An average politician in Nigeria is IRRELIGIOUS and only hide under religion safety net to hide his greed. If you think politicians go to church, mosque and shrine within the space of a week because they believe in God rather a campaign gimmick then you are in for a long ride .In fact, religion is a necessary tool to check against excesses in a country where respect for laws and order is lost. |
Hmmm...Nairalanders, before you all bring out your pitch forks and 'react' as you are accustomed to, I implore you to make research from other reliable news outlets to confirm the truth as this post reeks of hearsay rather than the truth.... |
Bollinger:Hmmm...then you are not the true atheist you claim to be if you have to pretend to be a Christian on religious thread just to garner likes with comments laced with sentiment.... By the way Mr. Athiest... here comes candid questions for you and your irks.... When as God whom you see as Non Existent become so important to you to the extent it has become an obsession to always comment on topics relating to Him? Why are you so attached to a Figment of Imagination( in your own words) called God that you find it very difficult to ignore and move on whenever you hear or see His name? |
anonimi:...I can't imagine how you conveniently left Lateef Nurudeen, the true 'culprit' unscathed but went after the throat of the organisers...that is quite a Leap! How can you hold the organisers responsible for a premeditated criminal act of an ex convict? When is it ever sin against the word of God or a crime against the law of the country(Nigeria in this case) to organize a program design to honour God and emancipate people like this criminal from the bondage of sin? Why allow so much hate to blind your thought process that you decided to drop Logical reasoning for negative emotion? I pray God deliver you from the soul eating hatred for Christians( from your comments I can see you are a wolf hiding among the lambs just to cause mischief). Shalom |
Do all Nigerians now think that blessings means money?
. And bros, I don't believe in any god
