thanks to Freeze for pointing out this obnoxious and dubious ways of doing things. pastors prey on the fear of an average Christian. They brainwash them with the promise of heaven while they kept on buying private jets with the tithers hard earned money. Some even establish faith based school with the tithers money and yet the members of the church cannot afford it. Some of their children are now in open competition for beauty and luxury with the children of top guns in politics. They now pronounce themselves as demigod or vicar or viceroy of the Almighty. They now share and sell blessings and curses. They sell "holy" water, holy oil and holy every every. Some have even unconsciously worship them. Why?
With or without your pastor, your successes and failures are already predestined. The pastor is supposed to be a guide on what Christianity teaches. Preach morals and good values.

Please my guy was given admission through both UTME and DE for the same course in the same University. He is declining UTME admission while going to 200 level through DE. Must he accept UTME admission through CAPS and again will that not affect DE admission and will DE applicants also have to accept admission through CAPS and if it is impossible what is the implication of accepting both UTME and DE admission through CAPS. Note he is only accepting DE admission from school because he is about to pay acceptance fee for DE

I really don't think freeze is against tithing but like me, I think he's against tithing to the rich. Tithing, as was in the days of the Old Testament was designed to take care of the poor, and even if it's to be imbibed in today's spiritual practices, it's status quo should still be respected and maintained! Today, it is common knowledge that pastors see tithing as a free and easy means to owning a private jet. If anybody disagrees then the person had better start telling me that pastors print raw cash or that God Himself pays for the jets! If tithes were judiciously used to cater for the poor as commanded by God, certainly there wouldn't be much left for the GOs' outstanding lives of opulence. Vanity upon vanity, are they immune to it?? We need to think a bit. I'm not saying don't pay tithe, as long as it is tithe, it can be paid anywhere. Try destitute homes, prisons, hospitals, psychiatric homes and so on. You will see the difference, if not in you then in the society. This is what pastors were meant to do but for selfish interests or because of lack of faith in God, they decided to get wise while being foolish. No pastor should live above any moderate life! A servant of God cannot be a king on earth, it's not possible. Let the elevation be when he gets to heaven. Pastor EEOkon, we know only you has got /will get to heaven among your peers.
