This story makes no sense. Let me get this straight! Mr Gentry knew for years that his wife sleeps around yet he still remained with her and only beat her up when she did not cook soup? So a Naija man will turn blind eye over his wife cheating but turn violent over food? Make una tell me another excuse.
The woman prolly refused to cook because she knew he would use her effort to feed side chicks in that hotel. An ex boss of mine used to do it. He go send wife go market after his side babe has told him what she would love to eat when she comes visiting. The wife go enter market, buy stuff husband asked for, cook, carry put for fancy cooler come drop for her husband in the office. God pictured he did not say it is a must. He did not say a woman that decided not to bring financial income to the home is a bad wife. Plus, that page was not written by God as a law. It was written by man painting his idea of what a wife should do. Not every woman works and it is not a must that she does. But every husband MUST. You calling the duties I listed as JUST home chores is your choice. Have you sat down and taken care of a home with kids before?
