Grand mothers help too. It was division of labour among family members. Today, the burden falls upon the shoulders of both partners to make things work. If the Man doesn't have a very tasking job, then he can support his wife. If he does have a tasking job and the wife is a stay at home mom, then she should not demand that he does chores unless he decides to but.... He should understand wth her if some things are left unattended for a while if they both work then they should share chores to help relieve the burden from the wife.
