HardMirror: In case you are wondering how I saw those demons I used to see, I was a christian before. I even did deliverances for possessed people (mostly ladies I wonder why ladies are the ones always possessed) Because ladies are the ones open to deliverance suggestion and also quick to present themselves to be delivered. If 10 males appear in a church service and 500 females, which group do you think would appear to be delivered the most? |

The people need to be responsible for the cleanliness of their environment. On the other hand, the water also needs to be protected from outside pollutants too. Environmental sanitation is still a long way from the reach of Nigerians. |

I just wonder though, if it we're the wife making this complain about her husbands strange cousin living with them...... would people have stood behind her to say it is wrong, kick him out. Or would they have called her many unprintable names and said she was a bad wife, a modern wife and a family breaker?
A lady created a post about someone, a stranger living in her home and misbehaving, many NL ers insulted her, called her names and even asked her to serve the young man cos he would not live with them forever. I can see how lopsided peoples judgements are bas d on gender of the person making the complaint |

Pureheart91: Yes u may be right about been angry about the death of ur loved ones, but hey have u eva thought about it these ways-
A. The earth on its own as created was perfect hence the need for the BALANCE phenomenon. If u read the bible during the destruction of the 1st earth of the Adamic generation you would discove the uniqueness of the BALANCE phenomenon as the Almighty told NOAH to gather a pair of each animals.. This expalins the need for balance in this earth, this Earth had been created to fit a specific number, hence givin way to the last enemy of CHRIST to be defeated(DEATH) have its way in this corruptible world.. NB: i said the earth was perfect..i believe as one who had study the bible would why.
Knowing this, that death is the last enemy of the christains to be defeated, everything is subjected to death except odawise(GOD).
And if everyone where to be Alive till date what do u tink would be the faith of Earth.
B. God the Almighty knows best, his thoughts and ours are never the same. I was once told about a Pastor whose Burial Sermon was as quoted "God gives and he takes, count it all joy for in all he is faithful". Ofcourse this statement had caused troubles within his neighbourhood, and as it may be, his beloved Wife passed away and people were Eager to hear what his sermon this time would be for he now knows what it means to loose a loved one. Yet, to the bewilderment of all, this same Man of God used his favorite quote in d burial process, thus puting to rest all agitations against him, as they now understood him. What am i saying, As along as we're on this Earth death is not evitable except on rare cases as recorded in the bible..hence dont question God, but instead give him praise for he alone knows best and in all give him thanks weda good or bad.
C.Death may be a blessing in disguise. Though awkward, but it's real. Most atimes we become traumatized when one who is so dear to u die mainly because of ur total dependence on that person, thus invariably making such ur own "god". For u think you cant survive without such person, and remember we serve a JEALOU GOD. Therefore if found in such category, here are the questions? - how to u expect to progress in Life as ur own being. - how do u expect to be justified from ur unknown sin - who is to be held accountable for such death.
With the few expalanations above, i believe death is only a Trail phase of a christain faithful, thus not an avenue to fall out of faith using ANGER as an excuse...
Remember King Solomon told us that "if we faint in the time of adversity then our strenght is small"
Why faint because of Death, which as a christain faithful u know is your last enemy to be defeated. Well, people are different. I have gotten over it but many more would feel just like I felt. Now, that is where the church should play a role. To minister and Cather to the needs of their very own. This is where religion as practiced today has failed mankind |

ifenes: I have read books written by Satanists,I don't see anything wrong with what they do. But I as an individual don't like rules and regulations. So being a Satanist is the other side of being a christian. Both are two sides of a coin. You are wise . |

Demigods666: Satanism preceded judeo/Christianity. That term Satan, and Satanism all Na oyinbo coin am. None is African. So you leave oyinbo Jesus for Oyinbo Satan. Same story but two different characters. If you say "Worship " predates judeo/Christianity I would understand as from time immemorial humans have been worshiping but the term "Satanism " that we never had. |

True. But sometimes atheists are born out of anger. For example, someone has a sick relation and prays desperately to God for healing and the person ends up dying. That moment if not well managed could cause some to lose faith. I should know, I lost both parents and for many years I blamed Gid for being so wicked.
I believe what you said about preaching only on prosperity is the biggest problem we face. Many people as soon as they get what they want, forget about God. The highest they would do is pay tithe and attend church programmes but their hearts and actions are very far from the giver of all good things. |
