He published the bank statement with the current date showing the money was intact after months of depositing the money. He didn't even secure it to generate revenues.

Alex Otti is another wonderful guy. Adeleke is a goal. Can anyone tell us sincerely which apc governor had neared these guys in performance? Ekiti governor is a disaster. Let those governors and law makers who defected to the apc try and see if it would change anything next year.

Osun people are happy with Adeleke. They don't want to go back to oppression. If APC had a good candidate and they didn't play politics with the LG funds, perhaps more people would have voted for them.

They still don't understand that the people are not happy with APC leaders in Osun. The majority of the people are happy that Adeleke won. They need to work their way back into the people's hearts.

It's not possible. People have the awareness that their rights are better protected under the secular and the customary courts which are more aligned to the Yoruba culture.

Yorubas value life and believe in fairness to all which is at the root of our being accommodating of everyone. Killing people on God's behalf is not a culture that can be tolerated by the majority of the people. Remember that could lead to the destruction of families with different faiths and that is so common in Yorubaland. Which sane Yoruba man will kill his son for converting to another faith as required by Sharia?

Recently, I learnt of a case where 2 brothers were trying to deny their sisters the share of their late dad's properties by hiding under Sharia. They had been collecting the rent over the years and giving token sums to their sisters. The family elders insisted that our culture recognises all children as being qualified on equal basis except otherwise stated by the deceased.

If only people understand that Osun voters were dealing with the contestants as individuals. For most people, it's not a party affair. They just want someone they can trust and who has proved himself. If there's no better candidate in 2027, they'll vote for BAT. The others have to prove that they can do better.

The fact is that you underestimated the people's right to choose. The days of programming people's mind is over. Some of those interviewed voted for the progress they're seeing in their respective towns. Ife people were probably happy about their new roads and flyover apart from the peace in lives of Civil Servants and pensioners.

You should also complain about Ila LG where Pa Akande comes from.

One thing people fail to realise is that without the reformation policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, there is no way those state governors would perform to the admiration of the people. They now have more money to deliver the dividend of democracy. Since 1999, people have experienced terrible leadership across the country and almost everyone have lost hope that the country will get better. But since Tinubu came to power and transformed the economy and giving a lifeline into the country,governors across the 36 states of the country now have more money to do things that have NEVER been experienced in there state since 1999. So naturally the people will the surprised and believe the governors are the best compared to previous governors that have lead them.
In this Tinubu's administration, it will be difficult across the 36 state of the federation regardless of the party affiliation for a seating governor to be removed except a cursed governor that don't take advantage of the enormous resources they get from the federal government for the betterment of the people they govern.
This doesn't have anything to do with the party the governor belongs to, it has to do with the perception of the people about the work the governor is doing. If Adeleke had been allowed to join the APC, he would still have won because the people of Osun see him as a working governor.
So the credit have to go President Tinubu 100%. The governors know this and ALL of them will support Tinubu in 2027 and that's a fact .

That really is the point. Osun people are focused on the person and his performance, not the party. Withholding of the LG funds and the poor performance of previous APC governors angered many people.

Of course, if there's no better candidate, they'll vote for Tinubu in 2027.

All through the governorship campaign in Osun state, no single APC south west governor spoke ill of adeleke ... This governors in south west will work against tinubu in 2027 on a low key .

The SW will not vote based on sentiments. It's more about the ability to perform. Adeleke came after a dismal reign of APC and has done better. That's why many chose to vote for him.

If Tinubus score sheet is good with hopes for better years ahead, the SW will vote for that reason, not because he's Yoruba. He can still win Osun irrespective of the party in control there. Otherwise, any party that has a clear focus and a well laid out plan for the progress of our nation will win.

Tinubu isn't up for election today. The people can distinguish between who they want as a governor and who they want as President. Today's result, either way is based on the personality of the contestants and the expectations of the peoplefrom them. It's not really a party matter.

There are opportunities to learn skills for free by FG, State Govts and NGOs but lazy guys will never take an advantage of that. Easy/stolen money hardly lasts. It doesn't end well because you learn to live above your means.

Who cares about his cars that are of little use to him. Money and assets that have no impact on society are more like fleeting wealth.

The problem is that the Constitution doesn't require him to submit ALL his certificates. The word "or" means he can submit any of his certificates. It's amazing that even Primary 6 certificate is acceptable in this new age.

As long as the University he attended hasn't denied him, there's nothing anyone can do.

Investigative journalists can do their research about his background to satisfy their curiosity and give themselves peace. I would rather focus on what each contestant can do for us so we can make a reasonable choice.

True. The main road that passes through Ila Orangun is being dualised. Township roads in Otan Aiyegbaju (Boluwaduro LG HQ) were tarred according to the residents and they're happy.
