He's fishing in troubled waters. Nigerians exude confidence but this one is outrageous and annoying. I hope his source of income is legit, otherwise, he has set himself up for wahala.

It seems only the June pension has been paid. No arrears as stated. That's as I learnt from 2 PHCN pensioners.

He has told the IG that they should arrest any criminal in his house. What's the noise about? APC thugs also exist. They should arrest all of them so there can be free and fair election in Osun.

He should show up in court to explain how he achieved the seemingly impossible. Obviously some people got paid. The evidence will be useful information.

Hmmm! Conveniently so but diligent investigations can unravel a lot.

There's so much information online about this guy having been a scammer since his university days. What is baffling is that he has never answered for his crime. He just seems to disappear only to reappear later to hit harder. This time, we need to get to the root of the matter.

The way the education system was designed is actually deliberately time wasting. . From primary to secondary to tertiary without any skills attached

The system was designed to include skills acquisition. After JSS 3, those more inclined towards vocations were expected to continue in technical schools. Unfortunately, it hasn't quite worked out that way.

From the judgement, Helen Prest was still married to her ex husband when she said she was married to Dr Ajayi. She has children for her ex husband. According to Mrs Ajayi's contest, she said Helen influenced Dr Ajayi to favour her in the Will and whatever she inherits could have been enjoyed by her children that didn't belong to Dr Ajayi.

Honestly, I've seen people start small and grow big. It all depends on one's circumstances and the knowledge of the business.

I kind of admire how you arrive at your submission but the point is the women at the center of the whole controversy have not been in the business before so if you want to help them ,tell them to submit a quotation of what it will cost to set up the business ,it's not just about giving them money because you assume it should be enough for them to set up such venture. And in addition, most of these women have things they do, either other business venture or handwork , so why not empower them in their line of businesses instead of telling them to do something totally alien to them because you want them to micromanage resources?

I agree with you. Of course, petty traders will use it to boost their business instead of trying new ones. A tailor/barber for instance, can use it buy an additional tool to boost his business.

As funny as this Akara topic of remi tinubu sounds, l remember a time in a my life when l was into Akara business back in school at Covenant University.

I met the buttery guy at CU and struck a deal of daily supply with him.

I told my mum she will be making akara in large quantities for me. She agreed and her maid started making it daily. My mum's driver will deliver it to me in school.

I was making a lot of money as the Akara was sold out in a couple of hours that the buttery guy told me to increase supply.

I didn't have the capacity to increase the quantity supplied as a student back then. My mum was very supportive as she was the one fueling the car to deliver the Akara all the way from Lagos to Ota.

When l told my mum l need to increase supply, she supported me again with more raw materials. (God bless that woman for me and May her soul rest in peace).

I kept repeating the process and made huge amount of money. After about six weeks, l got tired of the business. Stupid me used the money to flex🤣. I also got a timberland boot and blackberry phone which gave me some fulfilment that the project was worth it.🤣

Now, the moral of the story is l didn't have any passion for the business. I only did it as a means to an end back then.

The hard truth is without the support of my mum, l won't have been able to embark on that little project.

1. She paid her driver for delivery.
2. She fueled the car.
3. She bought the cooking gas.
4. She paid her maid who made the Akara.
5. She even provided the raw materials when l needed to increase supply.

👆🏻now imagine if l had to incur all these expenses as a student, l won't have made any profit.

Remi Tinubu, the Audacity you have to tell graduates to go into such business is insane. In this Digital age and Infotech era. Go to china and see what they are teaching their youths

Your husband promised to create 3 million jobs, yet he has failed woefully. You said you gave grants of 2 billion and 1 billion. Why not use the money to build factories and small scale companies.

Madam Remi wasn't talking to graduates. Her advice was directed to women who were empowered with grants of 50k each. Some of them will find it useful.

A lady who sought for help to start selling akara and mosa only requested for a coal stove. I suggested giving her a big frying pan. I also offered spoon and few other items. She didn't need much. She cooks within their premises early morning and late evening. No KAI worries. Her husband told me that she's now doing well selling that and pap. She was jobless with little education and no sellable skills.

That is the point Madam Remi is driving at. Indigent people start small. They don't need bogus business plans.

I read elsewhere that most of the loans to this category of people by Lapo and other microfinance banks range between 30-50k. They know how to manage it to grow their business.

I don't understand why this is an issue. She only gave ideas on what the women given 50k grant can do with the money. I've been involved in helping indigent people set up businesses with small amounts of money and I love watching them grow. Only unrealistic and comfortable people believe that you need millions to start a business.

The kulikuli that I love to eat is produced by a lady (LY foods) in Ketu. Though I don't know her story, but it's so delicious and now available abroad in some places. Nothing is too small to start with. There's dignity in labor is what we learnt growing up. Now it's all about fast money which is mostly fraudulent or rooted in indecency.

We truly need reorientation and the teaching of good moral values for the younger generation especially.

This has nothing to do with politics. It's about the degrading of moral values. Leaders are who they are because the followers are enablers.

These are people who will keep blaming our leaders for the state we're in without considering the impact of their own fraudulent behaviour on the economy. Loans that should be revolving so that others can benefit ends with them. Awon ika!
