Politics / Isg-n Is Going To Kaduna To Say That Nigeria Must Be One- Ekiyor by Dembali: 12:59pm On Aug 29, 2017 |
**Arewa House, Kaduna is the venue; October 7th 2017 is the date to remember As Nigerians clamour for restructuring as the tool to negotiate peace and harmony between the ethnic groups in the Nigerian State, a Pan Nigeria group standing on the heels of broad nationalism, unity and peaceful co-existence has advocated for citizens to be weary of hate speeches and counter quit notices to individuals residing in their domains. Addressing journalists on the state of the nation and other sundry issues, the Convener of Integration Summit Group-Nigeria (ISG-N), Dr Chris Ekiyor, decried the persistent threat to national peace occasioned by declarations from groups in the country as negative tendencies that are anti-Nigeria and not in the interest of our nation. His words; “I agree with Mr President that Nigeria’s unity is not negotiable. I don’t believe in dividing Nigeria. My concern is the choice of leadership that is applied in governance. There is need for our leaders to look inwards to sanitize the process so as to re-assure the electorates of their guaranteed protection and development. Our systems must work without selectivity in ruling the country” “As Convener of ISG-N, there is need to restructure certain parts of Nigeria. There must be restructuring in infrastructural deficit, policy formulation, judiciary, budgeting, National integration, economy and federal character. Our hospital needs to be put in order while our educational system must be upgraded to meet our health needs.” Dr Ekiyor blamed the current state of the country as a product of several factors that has plunged the nation in the situation that we are facing as a country. “Lack of commitment, primordial greed, mediocrity and citizens not being able to hold their leaders accountable for their deeds have taken a negative turn on our collective development. Nigerians must stay patriotic regardless. We must confront our leaders constructively on issues that bother on our welfare” Speaking on the forthcoming National Integration Summit scheduled for Arewa House, Kaduna on October 7th 2017, he said that plans are in top gear for a successful national dialogue. “ISG-N is going to Kaduna to say that Nigeria must be united. The diversity in our language is a plus. We are better and stronger as Nigeria than any part of the country”, he concluded

Politics / Redefining Nigeria For Nigeria's Unity by Dembali: 8:57am On May 24, 2017 |
Nationalism and Patriotism has been described as the bedrock of Nigeria’s continued existence as a nation. The assertion was made by the Convener Integration Summit Group-Nigeria (ISG-N), Dr Chris Ekiyor while answering questions on the topic ‘Improving our National Unity’ a live television programme. Coming under the heels of the 5th National Integration Summit, a national discourse on the importance of national integration, unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, the annual event put together by Integration Summit Group-Nigeria is scheduled to hold on October 7th 2017 in Kaduna. Dr Ekiyor reiterated that for an indivisible Nigeria, the indices of ethnicity, sectionalism, religious bigotry and other factors that tend to tear the nation apart will have to be put aside. The response of ISG-N, he went on, is to capture young people between 18-46 years to be committed to project Nigeria rather than lip thinking mindset that negates the strength of our diversity. He maintained that when this is achieved, there will be a critical mass of people that will determine the quality of leadership and policies coming out from the National assembly through a simple mass action. ”What happened to our national unity? Our mental psyche should change. We have to look back to when we got it wrong, deliberate on it and redefine our existence as a nation.” “The bane of our country’s failure is leadership; toying with our common patrimony. There is a disconnect between the leaders and the lead. The investment environment has been bastardized. Instituting a sovereign wealth fund for assessing loans is key for development”. “The elitist class, politicians and even the civil service are the canker worms of our development. It does not matter who fixes the country but the capacity of such individual. Our constitution provides for true federalism but the country still runs a unitary system”, he concluded. The organization creates the awareness of integrating Nigerians annually by getting strategic thinkers to gather in a national round table.

Phones / The TECNO Camon CX Is Up For Pre-order, Would Nigerians Go For It? by Dembali: 12:06pm On Mar 25, 2017 |
Seems we have not heard the last of the recently launched TECNO Camon CX, The phone is said to be equipped with a 16MP Front and back Camera, And Customers are asked to pay #10,000 to pre-order. Personally. Nigerians are not very enthusiastic in pre-ordering new devices like our brothers in the west, We have this culture of going to the store to get devices ourselves instead of pre-ordering and winning gifts like TECNO is currently doing. And i think 10k is too much in this Economy, Abi Nairalanders, Na lie i talk??

Business / Spotlight On Africa’s Leading Telecoms Company. by Dembali: 3:28pm On Aug 26, 2016 |
Vision as aptly put by a professor of human sociology is“…the compass to success land” and in recent times, no telecoms multinational in Africa’s dynamic market place have proven these words so true as have TECNO. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4158343_dema_jpegc7ac5815b71339491a15c7bfad8bac86 But to be fair to our good professor’s words, I will expand his quote to include the fact he had mentioned that for organizations to achieve true success, they need to act proactively at all times and prioritize building positive human relationships in their pursuit of corporate vision their pursuit of corporate vision. Organizations with the right internal culture succeed Africa’s Telecoms landscape have seen a lot of growth not only because of rapid growing economies in the continent but also because players like the multinational brand TECNO have a strong African focus embodied in their devices; from product R&, material design, after sales support to value chain development. “Experience More” more than a slogan. It is a corporate vision The TECNO brand has communicated its “Experience More” slogan passionately over the years across multi-channels in interest markets but the slogan is not just a company tag line, it is at the core of the company’s service delivery and innovations. www.nairaland.com/attachments/4158344_demaa_jpeg043486f8fe4a661e963faf52db47a3fb 2006 release of Africa’s first dual SIM phone– TECNO’s “Experience More” culture is the engine that propelled TECNO’s launch of T780 mobile phone into the African markets. This best-seller Dual SIM phone was an instant success with overwhelming consumer acceptance across markets; revolutionizing mobile telephony in Africa. Instant consumer feedbacks into product design-An Afrocentric vision driven by a responsive R& unit, at the heart of TECNO’s operational structure, has grown the brand into one of the continent’s leading mobile maker. The total overhaul of audio quality in TECNO smartphone ranges, the development of TECNO BoomJ and TECNO CAMON series and partnership with OEM brands like DolbyTM, SONYTM on consumer audio and image quality preferences are clear examples. Africa’s first mobile phone assembly plant-I am yet to see any other multi-national mobile brand with fully operational smart phone assembly plant, set up in Africa creating much the need job and hi-tech skills transfer for youths. TECNO’s Ethiopian plant is an exemplary leadership stance in the African market. The TECNO Phantom series Another expression of TECNO’s quality service delivery culture, to markets in Africa is the brand’s development of its Phantom series product line. Known for their top end specifications upgrades, premium material design and craftsmanship, TECNO Phantom series are tailored to meet the refined taste of Africa’s elite consumer class; delivering pure luxury and return on investment to mobile users who prefer lifestyle smartphones. https://www.naij.com/942420-must-read-secrets-one-africas-leading-telecoms-company.html |
