Dannyxy: this guy is a bloody hypocrite oh! Well thank God you know that it's f.g that employed, so tha f.g can fire them when they are getting out of hand...Fool, what am telling u is this has no serious bearing to current issue. Has FG fulfilled the part we know and told us the part unknown is the only stumbling block? It's between them, let wike tells us if he likes. U have no authority on ASUU, u can only question ur govt. |
Omexonomy: Too late.Omexfool, can u now see that Jonathan is shivering up to his pants. Is it by force to remain in the killer party. |
njokusboy: ......What's ur business with that? Are u the FG that employed them. If the FG deemed it fit to share such details, she will. U aren't a member of ASUU and its not ur business. If wike feels this fourth demand is the problem, let him speak out and say so. In the absence of that, its mere speculations. |
A rep of govt signed the previous agreement but Mark claimed those that signed for them are foolish. It's time for them to sign themselves. For the sake of this country's future, a norm can be broken afterall its not unconstitutional. Jonathan must sign. |
Hearme: ARE YOU A NIGERIAN?This is the crux of the matter. Every other thing is plain rubbish. |
stevedure: Hahahaha, i do not expect a meaningful comment 2 eva make meaning 2 u since u're so meaningless! Everythin abt u is just negative: u eat wit ur left hand, breathe through ur mouth, read wit ur ears, sleep on ur farty-a*sshole, Gosh, everytin abt u is just d opposite n negative! Do u knw all dis insult on u 4rm Nairalanderd will form a lump and affect u someday? Pls just get a life! What has this got to do with ASUU demands and Jonathan insincerity ![]() |
bima06: haba have a little respect for the number one citizen U mean respect for a Glutton who spearheaded the consuming of a billion naira worth of food in a financial year in the midst of abject poverty. Surely, u gat jokes. ![]() |
Richiy: Imagine that your boyfriend/fiance/husband that you trusted so much went behind ur bk and cheated. You found out and 'went on strike'. After he 'repented', and brought his folks for negotiations, would you just jump into his arms? Wont you make very sure, ie if you want him bk, that what hapnd b4 would'nt happen again? You would check every line and angle b4 making you decision ryt? That is the exact thing ASUU is trying to do. Once bitten, twice shy. Smart lady. No guy can just play a fast one on u. |
ugopeter: imagine someone calling your father DAFT...Goes a long way to buttress the level of stupidity. What has ur father gat to do with Jonathan insincerity on display on this thread. Must u bring him up here. SMH |
stevedure: And here comes the slowpoke of Nairaland and captain of the blinds, leader of the backwards, true Hater 2 d core and a goon! All hail d APC hippopotamus, DEMDEM! it's obvious u're loosing 4rm both ends! I can understand ur wailings, please go on hating while we jump into the moving train of success! Vagaboon! Crap, has no bearing to topic of discussion. Next. |
ugopeter: And the award for the Most Stupid Nairalander goes to....wait for it, wait for it, wait for it... DemDem for his stupid comments so far on this topicFoolish boy, what have u contributed so far ![]() |
Promhize: You are so daft, haven't agreed with ASUU? Didn't hear of the new demands by ASUU? Why would FG pay them for 5months in which they not work? Fool, ur losses is as a result of ur govt refusal to do what is expected from them, even till now they haven't done it so strike continues. Place ur blame appropriately. Glutton, ur foodstuffs is none OS ASUU business neither did u consult ASUU before u rented ur apartment, lick ur wound alone while it last. Not paying civil servants when on strike is allien to our laws unfortunately, when its part of our laws, will advocate for it. I have no doubt that Jonathan will pay them. |
Law-confessor: I think u are confused. No offence. |
Youngzedd: Can you stop using that Jonathan, for crying out loud He is number one citizen of this country and He deserve some respect. An insincere leader deserves to be stoned. |
taharqa: That is an Understatement, Bros... For those of us who 'know' @Demdem, we hv already 'given up'. Na Lost Case be dat... Tahat, ask Jonathan to put his promises to paper and ASUU will surely go back to work. ![]() |
kasiem: no, he just learnt from d progressivesGood, he doesn't have his own mind. Nice to know. ![]() |
Olaolufred: THIS IS HOW ASUU FARE UNDER IBB AND ABACHA. Impressive record. Surely, Jonathan is no match. |
jemman: Jonathan, Jonathan must hv been taking to much ogogoro latelyWike, Bipi, Abati and their cohorts will conduct the interview ![]() |
theoctopus: So what will they do? You think you can fight government as a group, without the backing of the entire country? You are naive Actually u are the naive to think that Jonathan will sack all lecturers nationwide and employ new ones in our uni system. ![]() |
kasiem: yea, fashola did same to doctorsGood then, let Jonathan sack all lecturers nationwide and employ new ones. I guess that's wisdom to u. ![]() |
Arobam: Mr Man, How come you know more than 60 percent of the striking lecturers who voted nationwide for the strike to end? Fool, in otherwords u are saying faggae is to be blamed and holding thousands of lecturers to ransom. U sound really daft. |
Puntae: Hey! Stop fooling yourself trying to defend the indefensible. This your argument would have made sense if it came up before the last meeting that President Jonathan had with the ASUU leaders. There is time for everything. Complete Crap. The only politics I see is the 13 hrs Jonathan told us he spent with ASUU. His desires doesn't translate to sincerity. Jonathan is the one playing politics depending in public sympathy and playing with ur intelligence. Is there any wisdom in meeting but eventually not fullfilling what u agreed? |
kentorito: Its obvious you are not informed. Please do more of reading than pale criticismSpill out what we may have missed. Waiting. |
excell12go: If JONATHAN is really serious with these promises of his, why is he finding it difficult to put it in writing with his signature and official stamp Excellent questions. Fools would love to dodge it ![]() |
Law-confessor: So hatred to u is holding ur govt accountable to their words right |
Jonathan wants to sack lecturers. Chai they are now scared oooo ![]() |
[quote author=Mandelaguy]Here comes the resident retard on Nairaland with his i.mbecilic comments as usual. Fool, welkom on board President Jonathan is the first president to enter into direct negotiations with ASUU. He didn't do it out of weakness but a genuine desire to end the strike and get Nigerian students back to school. Its one thing for u to have a desire, its another for you to be sincere. Jonathan desires doesnt translate to sincerity. It took the President 13 hours to reach a feasible agreement with ASUU (while you were asleep) and they had an understanding which includes a variation of the unimplementable 2009 agreement that ASUU reached under Yaradua. 13 hours of discussion and not agreement. ASUU said she will report back to the president directly and they have asking him to put it in paper and well signed. why should that be difficult for Jonathan to acheive? [s]President Jonathan told ASUU (and the facts are verifiable) that he is the president who has invested more in Education than any other. He told them that he increased Education funding in the Budget from below 300B to 450 B. he also specialized tertiary funding through TETFUNDS. He has undertaken the establishment of 12 new Federal universities to ensure that no state in the federation is deprived. Since the strike started, FG has committee 100B for infrastructure and 30 B for earned allowances (no other administration has done this much) In the same meeting, President said that despite the increased budgetary funding to Education by 450B, he will also mobilise 200 B in fulfillment of the agreement for the next 4 years.[/s] Crap. what has this got to do with fullfilment of signed agreement. ASUU isnt asking for anything new. Fulfill agreement, at least start fullfilling. It took years and resources to get that agreement. They arent even asking for 100% implementation. Jonathan believes by doing his own thing its ok. U seems to be as foolish as him /quote] |
eGuerrilla: Solidaaaaaarity forever, deeeeeemocracy foreverExcellent development. The core leaders are in front. Nothing should stop protests in a democratic setting. |
jmaine: The APC dimwits should be dealt with properly within the ambits of the law . . . . . ”When we wrote this letter, we were quite aware of the ruling of the Appeal Court affirming the decision of Justice Chinyere of the Abuja Federal High Court the in the case of All Nigeria Peoples Party v Inspector General of Police (2006) CHR 181 which said, inter alia: ‘If as speculated by law enforcement agents that breach of the peace would occur, our Criminal Code has made adequate provisions for sanctions against breakdown of law and under so that the requirement of a permit as a conditionality to holding meetings and rallies can no longer be justified in a democratic society.’Kindly refer me to any law or superior court order that goes contrary to the above that i may not be privy to. |
Na today ![]() The military did worse than that and yet ASUU triumphed. Strike continues till ASUU is satisfied that govt is sincere. |
kokoA: Government should just ensure that they keep to their own side of the bargain, this will make ASUU loose sympathy and they will have no choice but to go back to work. This is the koko. I wonder why its so difficult to achieve. Govt should keep his own side of its agreement and see if ASUU members wont be stoned anywhere in the country if they dont go back to classes. |
Dollarman101: ASUU has been playing politics with the future of Nigerian students. How? Is requesting that agreement signed with them be fulfilled automatically mean that they are playing politics? |
