EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:36am On Nov 26, 2013
malon tee: How happy are you at homehuh

That's if you are a student.
tcheeeeeeew!

Use ur brain. I was once a student and I know how depressing it is when lecturers go on strike.
But will I because of that blame the lecturers when the govt/school authorities are to be blamed. I will surely not do that.
See me curse ASUU if after implementation of agreement, they refuse to go to classes.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:31am On Nov 26, 2013
pcnwamadi: I dont trade words wit jobless idiots. .
Fool, its good u didn't deny the fact that indeed Jonathan signed an MOU with them. cheesy grin
How sales?
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:29am On Nov 26, 2013
Great Olu: Wen FG pay there arrears and meet their demands, those yeye ASUU will still cme bk to sch and ask us to pay dept fee and faculty fee...

Is it not proper for FG to compensate students too....
Those monies don't go to ASUU pockets, it goes to the school authorities. They are govt schools, govt is Ib charge of those money. Ask ur VC not ur local ASUU branch.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:26am On Nov 26, 2013
malon tee: At who's Expensehuh
Students?? If so then both ASUU and FG should pay we students for tramping on our educational right..

The fact that its constitutional to pay them their arrears should not justify their making it a condiction to call of their selfish and greedy Action.

God bless Nigeria!!!

The only leverage u students have is to always vote the righr set of leaders every 4 yrs.
ASUU isn't indebted to u considering the picture u are painting and FG care less about u considering their refusal to honour agreement.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:21am On Nov 26, 2013
tomzman: I don't see anything special in what ASUU is asking for. It simply shows they don't trust the government. It's a pity that there are many ignorant people on nairaland. It's the normal thing to pay workers the arrears of their salaries in the event of a strike action.

U dey mind these fools. The unilorin lecturers that weren't paid for years won a supreme court judgement that made the govt pay them all. They became instant millionaires despite some of them working elsewhere during their travails.
Govt simply do not learn. ASUU will surely be paid.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:17am On Nov 26, 2013
Yahoo1: blah blah blah...dat's d only thing coming out of that hole you call a mouth.

y call him daft by the way? is he your mate? He is old enough to be your grandfather. *eediot

Fool, its good to know that Jonathan is qualified to be ur grandpa.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:15am On Nov 26, 2013
malon tee: They have crossed the line now they are dotting the eye!

They still remain on the blame side QED.
What line did they cross?
What is wrong with an employee asking his employer to fulfill his agreement with him even if it will take decades to actualise?
Many of u lot won't accept such in ur private lives.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:11am On Nov 26, 2013
pcnwamadi: if I say ur daft, am increasing ur level. Dumb is even an undastatement. Was it Jonathan dat signed d agreement or Yaradua? Infact ur name suppose be olodo..

NDDC contract seller, are u aware that Jonathan signed an MOU with ASUU last year where he re-instated his commitment to the 2009 agreement?
Let's even assume that didn't happen, wasn't Jonathan a key player in Yaraduas admin?
U are really foolish oooo. No wonder many nddc jobs are substandard.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:07am On Nov 26, 2013
Cateryn: Pls wat is d motive behind ds strike? Its lik ds people r not interested in getting bak 2 work. Just lookin 4 more reasons 2 prolong d strike.Mewtch. Salaries ko, wen dem no work.

What other motives than govt fulfilling the agreement they signed with them. If u know additional ones, spill it out.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 10:03am On Nov 26, 2013
malon tee: Will ASUU pay Us(students) for wasting and delaying our future??

No work no payment
No apologies on that even if u are ASUU president grin

ASUU didn't waste ur future, Jonathan did. ASUU simply wants u to have quality education, retardeen has other priorities. If he had honoured the MOU he signed with them last year, ur future would have been much more secured.
Place ur blame appropriately.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 9:58am On Nov 26, 2013
Reyginus: Please which sane country pay there workers for not working and why?
Which sane govt goes into agreement with his lecturers and refused to honour it?
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 9:56am On Nov 26, 2013
Super1759: what is this one saying? Who told you about their wards? Take it from me, ASUU have over stepped boundaries, EBSU just left, UNILAG will join soon. And others will follow suit.
I wonder how they want to be paid when they are at home. That's rubbish, my Goodluck is just too soft, that's my problem.
Don't be deceived, because school authorities asked students to resume doesn't mean lecturers are going back to classes. After all, ASUU went on strike but did they closed down any school? Those that shut the schools decides to reopen. Let those VCs of these institutions go and teach them. ASUU can't stop schools from opening, they are just withdrawing their teaching responsibilities till they are heard.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 9:52am On Nov 26, 2013
Segeggs: you are really the demdemoron that they call you. You want ASUU to get paid while students bear the brunt alone? In a negotiation, nobody gets all; Government loses, students lose so therefore ASUU too. Who are they to be excempted?

No work no pay.

U sound really daft. An agreement that took years and serious finance to come up with after several compromises and here u are saying even at that govt isn't bound to fulfill.
If ur employer promised to pay u a particular amount at the end of the month but after work done at the end he said he wants to reduce ur pay contrary to ur earlier agreement, will u succumb?
I wont be surprised if ur foolish kind will.
There won't be any strike if govt did what was expected from then. Blame Jonathan not ASUU.

Super1759: Oga demdem, its been long, leme ask you,if your BUHARI was the president. Don't you think he cannot be indifferent?

Buhari honours agreement. He is an honest man.

Wellsaid cool cool
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 8:35am On Nov 26, 2013
Segeggs: They want their 4 months salaries paid to them but who will replace the 4 months they made nigerian students to lose?

If they ever get paid that money, they will never spend it on anything reasonable.
They will be paid and nothing will happen. Govt that refused to honour its agreement should be blamed and responsible for the students losses so far.
EducationRe: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by Demdem(m): 8:32am On Nov 26, 2013
Omexonomy: chief demdemoron the chief m0r0n of nairaland how are you and ur folkes.
Why would ASSU prolong the strike when they know that student will suffer
afterall you dont expect to recieve all what you demand for in a negotiation.
Omexfool, was that wikes reason?

PoliticsRe: Court Reinstate Obio/akpor Council Chairman by Demdem(m): 5:58pm On Nov 25, 2013
Adola1: people should stop to compare an elected Local Govt chairman to National secretary of a party.
Why can't we? Is it not the same Nigerian Judiciary? Amaechi is a perfect example of a leader that obeys court judgement.
PoliticsRe: Court Reinstate Obio/akpor Council Chairman by Demdem(m): 3:02pm On Nov 25, 2013
The state govt has come out to state that they will abide by the decision even though they believe the court erred because a superior court is currently on the issue. The lower court claimed the chairman wasn't given a fair hearing by states assembly.
This to me is a good development. Victory to the rule of law. Another matured stance from Amaechi.

Balkan: you have blown your cover long time ago. You are a Yoruba boy. I don't know why you are making this SS issue your problem.
Whether am a Yoruba or not is not the issue at stake. The issue which is the reality on ground as at today is the bulk of SS peeps will prefer to be independent than tolerate a biafran in charge of their affairs.
Deal with that and focus on the issue here.

Amaechi just gave her a TKO.
No doubt. Pertinent questions he has asked and I also demand answers from MOU.

One_Naira: Demdem Is A 100% Yoruba Residing In PH. Whenever He Tries To Insult GEJ, He Tries His Best To Use His Residency To Minimize His Acute Hatred. A Very Well Known Character On Nl And Well Recognized Hater And No Well Wisher Of SS. He Has Degraded, Downputted And Insulted SS, It's Leaders And Ethnic Grou Multiple Times Whenever One SS leader Or SS Ethnic Group Voice Their Support Of GEJ. It's A Huge Insult You Honestly Think That Man Comes From The Same SS As Some Of Us On Here. Go Through All His Post BeforeInsulting SS Again.

And You Are Correct, He's Entitled To His Opinion. Afterall, He Is Doing What His People Are Known Best To Do. I Left Him Alone For A Reason. He'sDesperation And Buffoonery Is Too Entertaining. I'm Literally Shocked He Haven't Mentioned "Johndaft" Like He's Known To Do Or Try To Blame GEJ For This.

U are obviously not smart enough to understand that innocent post. He is basically telling u that u know nothing. All u do is run ur miserable mouth and say it as ur skewed brains tells u. O yes I insult useless leaders from SS, likewise SW, SE, north etc. U are obviously foolish enough not to have noticed that.
I likewise praise leaders who worth it from all zones. Demdem don't give a damn about where u come from, u mess up, u receive a knock. Goon, can u say the same for ursef? cheesy

U left me alone because am operating at a superior realm than urs. Ur stupidity is nauseating and all ur efforts in making sure demdem says where he cones from falls like a pack of cards. Say whatever, even if it rocks ur boat, declare that demdem is from Togo, cheesy the joke is on u and it won't change the fact that majority of ss will like to be independent instead of being attached to Biafra. grin that is the main koko of this thread. Few fools like ursef can't change that. grin

Codedeben: Guy, everyone is entitled to his own opinion, the guy is merely expressing his views, it won't hurt to allow him. Besides, U dont know him (elsewhere, aside from nairaland, I suppose) , do you? I think he just chose to be anonymous to his real identity. He may have been a pro-yoruba, but does that make him one? I can see how y'all have being accusing him of speaking for SS when in actual fact u people didnt know if he's a SON. Not saying he is, actually. But I once came across a post fro him back then which changed my perception about him. if the post below is anything to go by, then , I think you people have blasted the wrong hole.

The question is why should where I come from define my thought process? That is the way of tribal bigots. It's a none issue. Small minds will think likewise. Demdem says it as it is especially on an issue he is well conversant it.
