Say it happened in Lagos and maybe her boss couldn't vote because APC thugs almost killed him after destroying his polling unit and snatch ballot box only to see a fake result uploaded in the I-REV portal.
Where a staff is now publicly celebrating APC win and how APC won that polling unit, I understand his grudge against her in that kind of situation.

An injustice was perpetrated against a hard working staff just because of her choice of candidate and you people are giving all kind of justification why what the boss did was right. What a divided nation! what a divided people!!, what a divided youth!!!.

We should not forget that democracy in the first place is all about freedom of choice.

Family / Re: I Am Confused As A Father And As Husband by demogesture: 11:21am On Nov 25, 2021
hashbag1:
Nlanders,
I have been married for 9 years now, amidst several incidences that gave me suspicions over my wife's infidelity. The one that happened of recent gave me nothing more than great suspicion over any other.

My daughter and son got infection, they were admitted into the hospital. On this faithful day, I was there with them and I left the hospital in the afternoon to get something for them to eat, I got back with the food and quickly rushed down to my office to tidy some work. I felt hungry and decided to drive out, on my way to the restaurant leads to the hospital, I was in traffic when I put a call through to my wife whom I asked how she was coping and how the kids were doing, while on call with her, I heard sounds of car horns so I asked if she was out, she said yes that she was going to get water across the stree, so i was like you shouldnt have stressed yourself since
the house maid was with her, next thing she yelled at me saying why am I making ascertion as to who should go get the water or not, I was like but that isnt a big deal to ask, she was like well the house girl have been the one running errands all day, I responded saying instead of yelling at me, you would have just responded by saying the above.

As a responsible and concerned father, I decided to suspend dinner and branch at the hospital which took me 8 mins to get there because of traffic. On getting to the hospital, lo and behold, my wife was not there, just the kids and the house maid. I asked the house maid where madam was, she said she stepped out without saying where she was going. I immediately put a call through to her. "Babes where are you at, just got here now and you are not here". She immediately hung up on me, I called back, she didnt pick, called her again didn't pick, waited few mins and called, she picked and yelled "why are you looking for me" I was like but you claimed you went to
go get water but its been up to 15mins and you are not here yet, next thing she said was I'm in a uber car, Wow uber car when you just said you went across the street to get water, how does being in uber car relate to that. I requested a video call, I hung up the normal call and called her on whatsapp call, she didn't pick, I called her back again on normal call and said you aren't picking, she responded saying am in uber car now, call me on video again, I did but she still didnt pick. So I decided not to bother since declaring her whereabout seems frutile. She called back on normal call saying she was on her way home to pick some her items to quickly do an advertising shoot to model to her customers in the hospital room, that she didnt want me to get mad at her reason why she didn't tell me before she left, I was like its not a big deal telling me that after which I have found out she never did go out there to buy water.

Husbands and fathers in the house, in this kind of situation, what could have been your thought? As for me, something was not just right, and the most damning part of all these is leaving the kids at the mercy of just the house maid, I feel if there is something she is hiding from me and leaving the kids like that is what
the issue of trust has led us to, I am left in amazement and total disappointment.

My guy, please watch out, it's clear something is not right from your story. If she's not cheating already she's about starting. Nothing kills a man faster than a promiscous wife

You also need to work on yourself. Women don't joke with their kids, even the promiscous ones. Something you did must have push her out. Find out and save your marriage asap.

I never knew that CJN and NBA president were political positions held by the opposition, such that any valid prosecution of these characters must be related to politics and political parties? When did the CJN and NBA president become one side of your divide?

You should be utterly ashamed of yourself.

What is it with PDP sycophants and the penchant to defend anyone who is corrupt and outside of the APC, even if such accused has no business with politics or political opposition?

What manner of idiocy is this on display?

Is the CJN a member of PDP? Is the NBA president a member of PDP?

So why the fuss by only PDP among the litany of opposition parties who are not apprehensive that public servants are being duly punished and that professionals are operating by the ethics of their profession?

Did opposition parties throw a fuss or tantrum when President Obasanjo sacked a public officer Police IG Tafa Balogun and prosecuted him? Did any opposition party scream that Tafa must be left alone? Did Police officers threaten the government to leave their corrupt boss alone?

So why is PDP extending its umbrella cover and protection of corruption to public officers, association presidents, and technocratic professionals who are not politically affiliated and are subject to the laws of Nigeria like every other average Joe?

PDP! When would you let Nigeria be and have peace and a corruption free society? Have you not wrecked enough damage in you 16 damnable years of failure? Did anyone stop PDP from prosecuting the jet flying governors of the opposition when PDP was in power for 16yrs?

Why is it that everyone accused of corruption and poised to suffer the lawful consequences, is suddenly offered PDP membership and support?

Does opposition mean to become an enemy of the state and hinder the lawful prosecution of non political public officers and private citizens?

It shall never be well with PDP, their sycophants, and their uncompleted secretariat that this same corruption and embezzlement demonic possession of theirs, did not allow them finish.

She asked you just one question, what happened to the preliminary investigation that was carry out before his appointment? Was it that they didnt discover all these allegation then? If yes how come they went ahead to confirm him? How come this is happening a month to the election? What happend to the normal airport security personnel? If this witchhunting continue this government will end up gathering millions of sympathetic votes for Atiku and made it easy for him to win the 2019 election. This APC government should stop serving into PDP hands and do the right thing. God bless Nigeria

Sports / Re: Asamoah Gyan To Divorce Wife, Gifty Gyan, Demands DNA Test For His Kids by demogesture: 11:42am On Oct 30, 2018
He fathered those kids...they all resemble him.he should just come out plain and tell us he is tired of the puna and want a new one

United4greatnes:
Ghanaian footballer and captain of the Ghana Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has allegedly filed for divorce from his wife, Gifty Gyan, at the Divorce and Matrimonial Division of the High Court, Accra.

The footballer has also denied fathering their three children and is demanding a DNA test to be carried out on all three to ascertain if he is the father of the children.

GhanaWeb.com is reliably informed that Gyan and his wife Gifty have not seen eye to eye in the last few months, but the desire of the Black Stars captain to officially terminate the five-year marriage is a clear indication that their differences have now become irreconcilable.

The news outlet is also reliably informed that the footballer, who filed for divorce in August this year is currently making preparation to marry an Accra-based business woman, once his marriage to Gifty is annulled by the court.

Although Gyan has had a ‘scandal-laden’ career, he has successfully shielded his wife and three children from the public eye and media scrutiny.

Details of why Asamoah Gyan’s marriage to Gifty has hit the rocks are unknown but sources close to the estranged wife say Gyan grew cold towards Gifty after another woman came into his life.

The said woman was in June this year mistaken for Asamoah Gyan’s wife at the grand opening of his new sports bar located in Osu, Accra.

Interestingly, the same lady was mentioned as Asamoah Gyan’s wife when Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe fought his last bout in defense of his IBO World title this month.

She was also spotted in town with the footballer when he came to Ghana recently for his summer vacation.

When rumors started making the rounds earlier this year about a possible love-affair between Gyan and the said woman, the business woman denied it.

She explained that her relationship with Gyan was purely professional as she owns a property that houses one of Gyan’s companies. But investigation by GhanaWeb reveals that the relationship between the business woman and Asamoah Gyan is beyond ‘landlord- tenant’ relationship as the two are currently courting and set to marry after his divorce to his current wife Gifty Gyan.

The latest indication of the current troubles in the marriage was the alleged seizure of Gifty’s passport by Baffour Gyan, who is the elder brother of Asamoah Gyan, to supposedly prevent her from returning to Asamoah’s residence in the United Kingdom.

Gyan and Gifty have been together since 2003 and got married in 2013 after their second child was born.

Sources close to Asamoah Gyan confirmed GhanaWeb’s story but declined to comment publicly.

Go and read about process corruption and EFCC's efforts in educating public servants on how to prevent process corruption all over the country since beginning of this year. Its not about the name only but the power vested on the institution by the Acts that established it. Though it might be silent in the name but EFCC is empowered to handle this.

EFCC is economic and financial crimes commission

Not Certificate Forgery investigation commission

Stupidity is comparing Fayose who took 4.2Billion cash delivery from GEJ/Dasuki through Obanikoro

Buhari using ‘corrupt EFCC’ to fight graft – Fayose
Temiloluwa Temiloluwa / 4 hours ago

Ayodele Fayose
Kamarudeen Ogundele, Ado Ekiti

the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has declared that President Muhammadu Buhari was using an equally “corrupt” Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to fight corruption.

He insisted that the President must start the corruption fight from his party and immediate aides “since charity begins at home.”

“The EFCC leaders’ opinions remain their opinions and if they are so sure of whatever information they have, they should go to court and stop subjecting Nigerians to media trial and that no amount of media trial from the same elements that orchestrated my removal in 2006 can erode my popularity among Ekiti people,” Fayose said.

The governor said any property that might be linked to him or his company was bought legitimately and they were duly declared in his assets declaration form, adding that sources of such funds were not illicit.

Fayose, according to a press release on Wednesday by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, maintained that his election was funded by Zenith Bank as well as donations from friends and associates.

He said, “As a promising candidate of my party, I cannot stop Nigerians from supporting my election like every other candidate of other political parties, including President Buhari.”

Fayose said since the money he got for his election was from legitimate sources and not from the Office of the National Security Adviser as being concocted, how the money was spent remained his own business and not that of anyone.

The governor also debunked the reported allegation by the EFCC that he received bribes from some contractors in Ekiti.

“If they have anything against me, they should keep their gun powder dry, because in 2006 when they took me to court, their allegations crumbled like a pack of cards because court decisions are founded on facts and law, and not on media trial as currently being done by the EFCC as tele-guided by the APC leaders in their desperation to set the people against me knowing fully that they are not on the ground.

“Having failed to buy the conscience of the Ekiti House of Assembly members, the APC people have become increasingly afraid of 2018 and the agencies of the Federal Government should know that no matter how hard they try, Ekiti electorate will not be deceived by their blackmail and media trial.

“The EFCC should be told in clear terms that this is 2016 and not 2006 when impeachment notices against governors were signed on the table of the EFCC operatives. Those who are tele-guiding the EFCC now should also be reminded that they did more than what they are doing now in 2006, yet I was overwhelmingly voted for by the Ekiti people eight years after the orchestrated impeachment which the Supreme Court declared illegal.

“Should Nigerians now conclude that the EFCC is an appendage of the APC? Is the EFCC for investigation of corrupt practices among all Nigerians or members of opposition parties alone?” Fayose queried.

The governor said as of today he had not been accused of stealing from Ekiti treasury.

“The EFCC has not also said that Ekiti money was stolen and that my election was funded with Ekiti State money,” he said.

Accusing the EFCC of carrying out the APC agenda to force him out of office as was done in 2006, the governor added, “It is sad that some politicians from Ekiti State now resume and close in EFCC offices in Lagos and Abuja and we wonder whether those politicians have now taken over the job of the EFCC.”

Fayose maintained that he would continue to speak his mind on issues affecting Nigerians and could never be cowed.

“Nigerians are suffering. states can no longer pay workers’ salaries, a litre of kerosene is now N220, a bag of rice is now N20,000 and some people will sit in the Presidential Villa and expect that all of us should keep silent? That’s not possible!

“No amount of media trial by agents of the Buhari-led APC government will make me to stop baring my mind on the cluelessness of the Federal Government,” he said.

"Timely information is a very important principle of war and also of politics. In politics, just as in war, what matters is not just your plan, but knowledge of your opponent’s plan"

This is key.one can apply this in your daily endeavor and other important events of life. God bless OBJ for the wisdom shared in this book

Everybody who commented here should please take a step further and watch the video. For two solid hours the COAS was busy begging them in the name of ALLAH to allow him passage.he spoke in all language every man should understand. The armies were there all this time and they never reacted despite all the chanting , shouting and throwing of sticks by the miscreants until they attacked the COAS.just wondering why men with sticks and catapult would think they can take on Souldier for God's sake. This cannot happen even in Iran, Syria , US or any other civilised society.Let us be honest, those souldier have the mission of protecting the COAS for God's sake and that's what they signed up to do even with their blodd

I am not happy that people died as a result of this fracas because human life is sacred but trying to point out the fact that religion extremism was responsible for their death.the military only did what they were supposed to do which is to protect the COAS.

May the soul of the departed rest in peace
