Maximus85:

Let's get it clear. You are making plenty sense here.

Jehovah is God. The Almighty God. But Jesus, his son is not Almighty God but simply Mighty God. So when we are talking about the two of them, don't you think it's an act of respect to use "God" for the almighty and "a God" for Jesus?
Because we agree that they are never equal. God has no beginning but Jesus does.

Do you agree? Does it make sense?

Where did you see "a God" ? When the bible refers to the gods of infidels it begins with small letter g, But in the case of Jesus , it begins with capital letter G, what does that implies? Whether you call it Mighty or All mighty, the power of Jesus is infinite and only personal encounter with Him can reveal that. For a man can receive nothing except it is given to from above. ... an He told Peter; "flesh and blood does not reveal this to you....."

theoptimist298:
These allegations are most likely true and if its a lie, what I and almost everyone else who is not guilty would do is to sue these people for defamation since they are not faceless for crying out loud. If I dont sue, I would challenge them to come forth with evidences such as date and time of the encounter and I would provide an alibi showing that I was somewhere else at the time. He cant do any of that because he is most likely guilty. When such stories are mere rumours and cant be traced to anyone per say, then it might be a lie but when such allegations are traced to people who own up to their story and even provide time, dates and places of occurence, the chances of it being a lie is slim because u cant lie against such a public figure and go scotch free. He arrested stephanie for blackmail, why hasnt he gotten the police involved in this reputation scandal? The blackmail which was done in secret and this reputation scandal done in the open, which is worse? It was even stephanie the accuser who challenged the police to investigate her claims. Would u have the nerve to involve the police in such a high profile case if u were lying? Even moreso that she already has a police case running, I doubt she would want to get in more trouble but yet she is sticking to her story. These allegations are most likely true and I am disappointed in the man. Its offensive and im offended by it

Be the first to cast the stone at him if any of you is not guilty of the same sin of adultery and fornication.

Sincerely, when does it become a thing of the pride for women to publicly name men who have once slept with them.

Was it only the Apostle that have ever slept with the wore in question? If Christianity does not permit adultery, do we have the right to be the judge of fellow human in area of filial relationship. If you are judging the man constitutionally, does your constitution pronounce the number of women man should marry or proposed to?

Hypocrites - Your judge is Almighty God and your place of abode eternally is hell.
Religion / Re: Hussaini Mabera Takes TB Joshua To Court For Calling Jesus God by dennymade(m): 12:52am On Mar 16, 2017
Young03:
This man is making sense oo

Is jesus God?

Or The son of God

Yes, Jesus is God. According to Gospel of John (jn 10:30); Jesus said I and my Father are ONE (Not two). You may read the preceding verses for better understanding. Philip once asked Jesus the same question above in Jn 14:8
"John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us."
Pls you should read Jesus answer prayerfully below:
"John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? "

Similarly, Thomas also asked the similar question in Jn 14:5 as quoted below:
"John 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him."

If you prayerfully meditate on Jesus answer in 14:7 quoted above. Then you will have inner witness that should you know Jesus then the Father God Almighty will be revealed to you.

Not only that, before Jesus was born, prophet Isaiah describe Him as mighty God in Is 9:6 quoted below:
"Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Please notice the capital letter G in the word " The mighty God" this is only used for the Almighty God. So there are many other bible verses which describe Jesus as God.

Anon to say this, The Islamic Scholar who was going to court was right because in Jn 10:31 when Jesus confirmed He was God the Jews pick up stone to kill Him. If that was done to Him then, the Islamic Scholar is only trying to fulfil his own part of the scripture.

Above all, I want to assert that only few people do have this believe because it is a mystery. And this is where the secret of doing greater works that Jesus promised lies.
If you can meditatively read the book of 1Tim 3:16 quoted below, you will understand why only few people even among the church goers can accept that Jesus is truly God incarnate while on earth.

"1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

You should try to answer these questions from the verse quoted above. Who was manifest in the Flesh? "God/Jesus. Who was seen of angels and who preached unto the gentiles?

Family / Re: How Does A Husband Cope With A Wife Who Gives More Attention To The Kids by dennymade(m): 12:16pm On Jan 02, 2017
This is the only sincere post I've come across on marriage because it is based on emotional experience of the man.

Most often , men are often more aged than their spouse which often make us commander in chief in our home. To us with our age, and resources at our disposal we should be able to command every thing around us including our wives and get a humble and positive response. But alas, this is only true with other things and people excluding your wife.

The most pretentious being I've ever seen are menfolk. Even though most men are not often happy loosing this authority to our wife, yet the society are in support of womenfolk.

Even women, irrespective of how younger they are compete with their spouse to wrench the authority from them. That is when you hear this kind of statement from them: "I'm your wife for God's sake - not your servant" or I'm I your slave? While the women attempt to control everything and met stiff resistance from men. They often succumb to cold war.

Since children are the only puppet that can be easily control and mould. Women divert all their attention and love toward them.
While they do this, they also withhold the major weapon, "sex" where the men's weakness lie. While they do this, the marriage suffers, the union is threatened.

Nevertheless, the womenfolk have forgotten that men called them into the relationship. And have ability to call somebody else. Though, also , the pretentious society also frown at this.

To hit the nail on the head, most often, especially young marriage often goes through this stage. Even, pastor, men of God are the worst affected. Nobody wants to listen nor say the truth lest they are called names.

Well Christianity enjoins us to endure it, pray fervently about it and talk it over regularly with our spouse. My advice for womenfolk is that if they refuse to sub pedal the children they claim they love will eventually be the victim of the discord.

Ondo state is the most peaceful state in Nigeria.......the good people of Ondo are just too simple and Easy going.......Ondo state house the highest number of Nigeria masses that got to know that no Politician is worth dying for.......I am an Indigene of Kogi state but I reside in OWO LGA......I can bet it that this can of friendship can not and it will never exist between Kogi state Politicians,if you doubt me use the case of Bello, wada and Faleke as a case study......hatred is the order of the day between the various tribe that made up kogi state......The Igalas and Ebiras are just too bitter not to accomodate each other.......I was shock the last time I saw mimiko in attendance at Aketi's Birthday ceremony here in Owo Lga.....it will be easy for FFK/OKUPE to win a governorship seat in katsina(which is impossible) than for Wada to attend Bello or Faleke birthday party.......the people of Ondo is just too accomodating without any tribal sentiment......During and after the 2015 general election where Mimiko(who is a sitting Governor lose one of His two polling unit) the state still remain peaceful and keep on developing....we all know what it takes for a Governor to lose a ward in Rivers,Bayelsa or Bauchi......the Nov.26 gubernatorial election was also held in a peaceful atmosphere and a winner emerge at the end of the day mimiko,Oke and Eyitayo all came out to congratulate Aketi the Governor elect while Markafi led faction of PDP is calling on Jegede to go and challenge the outcome of the election in court,Mr.Eyitayo who is a complete Ondo man prove Them wrong by saying this is Ondo state and not anyother state.......the Ebira's,Ibo's,Hausa's and other tribes in Ondo state all have acess to the Governor's free school shuttle bus, free health care and other ammenities......God bless Ondo state,God bless the Federal republic of Nigeria.

Of course, I'm very proud of my enviable governor, Dr. Olusegun R. Mimikomi. He has shamed his critics . He quickly read in between the lines that the northern cabals are envious of the adequate peace being enjoyed here in the state and thus were looking for a cog in the wheel to truncate the good records of undeniably achievement s of your government. Thanks for your wealth of experience to place the love of your people at heart. Only God knows how many lives and property would have been wasted if you have decided and insisted to play the do or die game FG wanted from you. My question whenever I see someone scheming do or die election just as FG did in the recent election held by them is that: Can the joy of victory of any election redeem any lost life sacrificed to conduct the election? Or can the joy of election victory replace the lost life? Nonetheless I wish the incoming administration a blissful reigning.

Politics / Re: Why Conduct Of Ondo Election On Saturday Will Violate The Law – Jegede by dennymade(m): 2:59am On Nov 25, 2016
Pedagogue:
My initial reaction was: If INEC postponed Edo election days to the election, what stops them from doing same...However, unlike in Edo, sensitive election materials had not been deployed before INEC (due to pressure from Oshiomhole & FG) postponed that election.

Besides, Jegede's argument is about logistics, not law. PDP and not Jegede's name is what is on the ballot. The party agents forwarded by the Poroye faction are all members of the PDP. In any event, the role of polling agents is to be present at the distribution of election materials and at the polling booth. The Electoral Act clearly provides that the non-attendance/non recognition of polling agents cannot invalidate an election. Jegede is a SAN. He should know better.

The euphoria over the court victory disappeared immediately Jegede/Mimiko returned to the battlefield. Their supporters have left them. Defeat is staring them in the face. Unless the election is postponed, Jegede stands no chance.

From feelers, Oke (AD) is the next governor! However, Akeredolu's (APC) federal might must NEVER be underrated.

Those who are blinded by tribalism and myopic will never see the reasons why the election should be postponed. Can the cost for all the preparations for this election be compared to loosing a soul if violence should erupt during or after the election? Pls those who live in a glass house should avoid throwing stone.

Omo Akin kii sojo. We fight and die to leave legacy. What Ondo people detest is cheating. That is the main reason we are very accommodating. Irrespective of your tribe if you are cheated we can lay down our life to defend what we believe in. And that of Jegede may not be an exception. The riot you saw are not sponsored protest. It is a protest against federal Government who is using the common will, the constitution they swore to protect to manipulate the will of the people. Those who are doing this are not good student of history. The weapon we used in 1983 is not Gun. So federal Govt should bewere whatever happened in Ondo can spread anywhere in the south.

Education / Re: Is Nigeria Neco Results Accepted In Schools Overseas? by dennymade(m): 3:07pm On Jun 29, 2015
Why do Nigerians hoard knowledge?
Here is the copyright granted by publisher of high school 700 pages of physics textbook. Surprisingly, the first reason given for this free copyright is that people should copy this book into their hearts! What an amazing advice!.
Did you notice the FREEDOMS we’ve granted you?
Our copyright license is different! It grants freedoms rather than just imposing restrictions like all those other textbooks you probably own or use.
• We know people copy textbooks illegally but we would LOVE it if you copied our’s - go ahead copy to your hearts content, legally!
• Publishers’ revenue is generated by controlling the market, we don’t want any money, go ahead, distribute our books far and wide - we DARE you!
• Ever wanted to change your textbook? Of course you have! Go ahead, change ours, make your own version, get your friends together, rip it apart and put it back together the way you like it. That’s what we really want!
• Copy, modify, adapt, enhance, share, critique, adore, and contextualise. Do it all, do it with your colleagues, your friends, or alone but get involved! Together we can overcome the challenges our complex and diverse country presents.
• So what is the catch? The only thing you can’t do is take this book, make a few changes and then tell others that they can’t do the same with your changes. It’s share and share-alike and we know you’ll agree that is only fair.
• These books were written by volunteers who want to help support education, who want the facts to be freely available for teachers to copy, adapt and re-use. Thousands of hours went into making them and they are a gift to everyone in the education community.

Then this question came to my mind that books written by Nigerians that are not even up to 200 pages are sold exorbitantly. And a strong warning of copyrights are also imposed. Even spiritual books are not exempted.
Then considering the volume of e-book being downloaded online by Nigerians on daily basis, are we really eager to disseminate knowledge ?
