Tragedy struck in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, after a yet-to-be-identified woman beat her housemaid to death for watching TV with her kids.

The 10-year-old housemaid lost her life as a result of injuries she sustained as her boss beat her to a pulp.

The incident was said to have happened on Sunday evening.

A source said the suspect, a mother of four, had brutally tortured the girl when she came back home and saw the housemaid sitting with her children to watch TV.

It was the cry of the girl that attracted neighbors, who stopped the woman from further inflicting punishment on the housemaid.

The girl was said to have died before arriving at the hospital for treatment.

Okay let me ask u a question which business man reduces his price below any profit margin belt? Knowing very well they would have to use out of their money to to cover up looses because of how low they have reduce their prices to, not even break even pricing, they set a price that not just that they can't make money, they run at a loss for every flight, just to frustrate the new comer who would definitely want to make profit in the new route, no matter how small. When they kick him out of the market because he stops due to the fact that he can't compete in a healthy manner without running a loss, a loss he can't cover, when he is out of that route, they hike price back up, who do you think would suffer it? That's no competition bro, that's sabotage coz big airlines has always been a cabal, they frustrate every new commer out of the market coz they have enough money to play around... Why now? So they would have made profit setting price around what airpeace set? Why ha sit always been x3? And u think it is competitive reducing their price far below profit line? C'mon Think.

that is not an healthy competition and should not be encouraged.. Because the new company just entered the route, the old ones with enough money will start underpricing far below making profit, just to frustrate the be cat out of the market and then hike up the price again, Afterall the have enough money to sustain the losses incurred for that few months, to force the new cat out if the market. For instant Just like 700k will give a profit margin of 200k, these old airline don't mind going to 400 to 450 coz they know airpeace can't go below the 700 to 600 mark, coz they have to make profit, that is no competition that is sabotage and the aviation minister should encourage it...

Stop being economical with lies. It is not adjusting, they are operating at a loss while air peace is operating at a profit.

These big airlines can afford to operate at a loss for a year in order to kill a new comer into the airline.
When the newcomer is pushed out of the business, they will raise their prices and recover the loss they made before.
You may prefer to pay 600k to fly Ethiopia airline but if Airpeace is pursued out of the business, you will start paying 2 million to Ethiopia airline.

I'm perplexed and still in shock at what these airlines are doing.
I believe in capitalism,I believe that the customer is king and free to chose any options available to him/her but sincerely I wish Nigerians could boycott all these thieving, unpatriotic, profit taking and imbecilic foreign airlines and fly only Air Peace.
I say this because I know about the airline business,just 2 months ago,the cheapest tickets one way from Manchester to Lagos on ethopia airlines was close to 1 million naira when the Us dollar was close to 1400.
I remember the price for the tickets around 751$.
Suddenly from Lagos to London on these imbecilic airline is now 700000.
U wonder the amount of crazy profit these mad airlines milked our citizens for the last 1 year.
That's why I query the kind of huge losses some foreign companies operating in Nigeria were declaring last month,it's a terrible scam.
Nigerian should please support their own,let us stop this terrible habit of always bring our own down, this is the emotions these foreigners play on to totally suck us dry.
