Help. I mistakenly dropped my external hard drive and now it won't work. I have lots of info on it. Can it be fixed?

i have been using this HP nc6220 in dis Cafe for sometimes ago with their LAN connection but i formatted my system and install another windowxp on it.Now i am in d Cafe and d lappy is not detecting the LAN network again, i check d Device manager and find out that some of my devices are in Yellow color with question marks ?.Even d Ethernet controller is with ? whaT CAN I DO TO GET RID OF THIS

NL gurus, some of my systems in the CAFE keep returning an error "Connection Untrusted" while browsing. I like to know how I can remove such prompting please. I look forward to your solutions please.

i think i will do both just to check up with certificates and changes in windows system

i was caught in between having one qualication in networking (sitting again for cisco) or upgrade my current certifcates

i had all materials  including videos the killer was time like i was going for lectures twice a week and the 1st day you would cover 5 chapters then 2nd day you are writing a test  both theory and practical

at the same time you have to master half of the router commands

tell me something about MCITP, i got both desktop technician and system administrator do i really need MCITP

ZIM DRILL:
i failed man, the man reason was that the time for the study was too short imagine doing it all in 12 weeks

the course was being provided by my UNI and through certain programms it was free hence they gave us short period to do it and you cant master it in 12 weeks

i later realised that most guys in my class had done it and only need to pass 1 or two stages to get the certificate whereas me i was starting from the basic

ZIM DRILL:
its funny how people here worry about drivers, all you need is to go to your manufacture website download them and save them somewhere not in the current pc becoz if it goes down it goes down with back up drivers so a usb or cd/dvd would do

to me the most important one is the LAN/WIRELESS driver once i have that one i can access the net and download the rest if i dont have the back up

I have this P4 desktop PC on my neck atm cuz it's my boss' pc and he had a power surge at home(according to him) which fried somethings in his house. He calls an electrician to check the power-pack(which is ATX with auxillary) and the guy tells him the power-pack is dead n gone. .so i went to Ikeja from VI to get a new power pack but on testing it with the new power-pack, the system refused to come on .

What could possibly be the problem?

It does shower that power gets to the board from the power-pack(LED Indicator on the motherboard) but just doesn't come on when i push the switch.

Could it be a dead motherboard or the switch itself? Or am i missing something?

You not getting what i am trying to say.I am not measuring it by the population of a country.Yes China has the largest population in the world and its inhabitants speak mandarin that i would agree on but then mandarin has penetrated the rest part of the globe like the english language?If you go to France you would come across ppl who can speak english,if you go to Tahiti you would see ppl that speak english,if you go to Serbia you would see ppl that speak english,if you go to Croatia you would see ppl that speak English,if you visit Qatar you would see ppl that speak english,if you go to Oman you would see ppl that speak english,when you visit Bahrain you would see ppl that speak english,visit the Fiji Islands as well u would come across ppl who speak english,if you visit Montenegro you would see ppl that speak english,in both Russia and Iceland you would come across some of its inhabitants who speak english even there are some Eskimos ppl who speak english fluently as well.In these countries i just mentioned is Mandarin known in them?
The english language has really penetrated the globe and its due to the explorative journey took by the English in the trade business during the middle of the 16th century and during which they became a dominative world power.Now if China takes over as a superpower you might see ppl doing away with the English language for Mandarin.Its the same way that Latin died off during the fall of the Roman empire.

M0r0n i am in the US and i have come across Germans who even speak better legible english than most nigerians.Is english their mother tongue as well?
