In fact I think God is simply fighting for the Yoruba's and we will always win because our hearts are pure...

Nurses opportunities are not so much in Canada. i know some nurses in Calgary that have to work like 3 places to get a total of 40hrs per week. I dont know what the pay is like in US for nurses, but in Calgary, starting pay for nurses in Alberta health service is like $36 Cad per hour which is like $27 USD and they kind of cap in the mid $40 Cad. The wages could be worse in a bigger city like Toronto.
However if nurses can move to smaller towns, they might get better hours and work life balance. There are lots of Canadian nurses working in the state due to better pay and more oportunities for specialization.

when trump was causing trouble about two years ago.

One of my previous landlady is a nurse practitioner that travels to Indian reserves in northern Alberta to work. I once saw her payslip and she doesn't make up to 100k a year (salary plus OT). She has like 30 years of experience. She also worked in the US for 15 years. I expected her to be making more but oh well.
Canada isn’t really a rich country, the real money is in the us. Health care is a gold mine in the us, especially in states like Texas and California. Guess that’s why they just want the health care reform bill killed and Trump is making sure it dies. How can I get a bill of $12,000 from my primary and secondary health insurance for a common health challenge that you will only treat with just 5k in Nigeria. Truth is, if I’d done my research I’d have rather study medicine before ever traveling to the us instead of going into education. I know a Nigerian lady who is a surgeon and she earns $300k yearly, although she’s still paying off her student loan.

You simply wasted your visa. One of my rules of thumb - never live in an area that is more than 40% black. Those areas are most likely to be poor, run down, no different from living in Nigeria, poor schools, high crime rate etc. it’s unfortunate but blacks in America are no better than blacks in Nigeria.
American blacks are worse than Nigerians. They are mostly damaged folks with lots of emotional issues. Half the women grew up with drug addict moms and their fathers are away in prison. I dated a teacher who was selling crack to her students and she almost destroyed my life when she knew I worked too job and kept some money away from her. I’m glad she’s doing time in prison now, useless woman.

And for the guy trying to relocate to America, do your research properly and try avoid California. You are better off in Oklahoma, Texas, or Oregon. These states are diverse and have a lot of work for mixed races. California is good but it’s competing with NY when it comes to expensiveness. Or you will end up spending all your funds on rent and gas to move around. And too many crack head with guns in their back pack.
Nevertheless, America is one of the best place to live once you become established. There are gated communities in California with the best houses and most decent and educated folks around. America is just too many countries in one country. Some neighborhood are worse than your Ajegunle while some will make Lekki and Dubai look like glorified slum. God bless America and Niaja

Sunny California is one of the best place to live but men, you will die from bills and buying a house in madness you will die from property taxes or they will even take the house from you once the tax becomes too much and the house rent is not here.
Indecency is common and you will see your neighbors shooting porn in his backyard. The Mexicans drug dealers go to prison and come out and even celebrate it. Drug lords push their cars around like it’s normal thing. And don’t even think of living in Long Beach or Compton, avoid black communities unless you want to come back to Africa version 0.0...The cheapest apartment goes for about $5000 monthly, and you will hear some people talking about paying $10k to $20k monthly on rent. And yes, I forget the part where California has more scammers than all the yahoo boys in naija, there is always one ponzi or the other, and some of them are so structured that they are even parts of the fortune 5000. America is such a wonder.

We all stayed in one kind of abandoned open shop close to the church. Unlike most of the guys that were picking pure water sachet in the circle area, the guys here were doing more of hard labour like bricklayer work, offloading goods from containers because that area is an industrial area so there are many warehouses around. Many of them have been there for long so they had their connection and knew when jobs were coming up. I tried to get involved with anything I could do so I can survive but yet again everyone would always tell me I can't do those kind of jobs. I will force them to take me but at the end the supervisor will still reject me. I felt really bad but then I had to get back to my usual begging which was obviously the only one that favoured me. Somehow I really felt like God was with me because I never imagined doing those kind of jobs and God didn't allow me do it. Sometimes when they have church services am always looking for you to beg until one day one man told me he will report to the pastor because the pastor warned that if anyone is caught begging they should report security and arrest the person.

Let me try to cut the long story short so I don't have to write in different pages.
Staying at that shop space close to the church was a nightmare because when rain falls at night we are practically sleeping under the rain. The mosquito bite at night is terrible. The shocking thing was how new people come almost everyday with the same story of how someone ran with their money or how their money got missing at the border and we will all have to stay in that place together. Mind you we can only stay there at night because during the day it's in front of a factory and that's were their workers sit down during their break. So during the day we all have to disappear from there but our bags are there and we cover them with the cartons we spread on the floor to sleep. I had tried so hard to raise money to get back to Nigeria but it only seems I can just find money to eat and do little things and that was it. I had to make enquiries about the Nigerian embassy in Ghana and then I got the address. So one day I went to the Embassy and explained my situation. The man I met there was really so nice and helpful. He told me they will send my issue to the ambassador because I told them I needed to go and I had no were to stay if they don't attend to me that day and find money for me. Unfortunately they said the ambassador had an urgent meeting so he will have to see it tomorrow and any amount he approves they will let me know. I thought about going back to sleep in that store and I said not today, so I gave my usual pity face and said I don't have anywhere to stay. So they allowed me sleep somewhere inside the embassy. That was the best sleep I have had in ages and the best bath I had taken that night. It was like I should not come out the bathroom and they oven put AC for me but I put it off later because my body was not use to AC anymore. I felt so alive again praying and hoping they give me money to go.
The next day I got a very bad news that the ambassador didn't approve any money because Buhari has not released money to the embassy. I actually almost fainted because I could not imagine going back to that store house after sleeping in the embassy so I pleaded with the man to help me in anyway. Very nice man I will never forget. He told me to wait, he was going to rag all the workers and see what he could get for me. That was how he was able to raise 200ghc for me and then told me I should not use the naija buses because the money won't be enough but I should use the short cut which he wrote on paper for me. From Accra to Aflao, I cross through the back gate and enter Togo. From Togo to Seme and then to Mile 2.

I was so grateful to God for everything and that was how I found myself back home. I have been putting myself together and glory to God I now have a phone which I am using to type this story. I look forward to God that kept me safe all through that experience because I know he has better and bigger plans for me.

I believe I will be a testimony to many very soon.

This is my true life experience, I never made it to Abidjan but I came back home alive.
May God almighty bless and open doors for you. You can email me deolivettepress@gmail.com with your account number... I will see what I can do for you

Ignore the guy, just another travel agent selling the hope of greener pastures to gullible Nigerians. A friend just got to Canada after he left a bank branch manager job. My mother-in-law built an impressive mansion from selling kolanuts and she’s currently building a second one...Sometimes when this woman mentions money, I will be like...from selling kolanuts? From one bag of kolanuts worth 200k can give profit or extra 155k
One of her close friend is the major supplier of most chinchin we all eat in traffic and that woman has bought an entire street in Agege Lagos. The first time I entered her chichin factory, it’s like entering a Chinese company. There were dozens of employees and they supply chinchin as far as Abuja. There are food sellers and clothes and children toys sellers who have over ten houses in Lagos, and these women are stark illiterates.
I sometimes wish I ever went to school and had not gone into staples or processed food supply like Lacasera or Beef rolls. The money these people make is insane!!!
TravelRe: Should I Move To The UK Or Return To Nigeria? by deolivette: 11:00am On May 14, 2019
Recently, I became totally disillusioned with Nigeria and decided I made a terrible mistake not leaving Nigeria in 2014 when I started a business. FYI, I own a private school business and it’s currently five years, and the past five years has been hell. My health at some point even deteriorated and my marriage faced serious crisis. A month ago during the holiday, it was my birthday, and I was dead broke. And I wasn’t even certain if I wanted to continue with the business.

Fast forward to today, we resumed this term, and it’s as if the heavens just opened for me. I have registered several children, as people are beginning to respect the quality of services I am providing. So you know, my school is expensive and we go for competitions including international ones. We are now getting plenty patronage and I just returned from the reception after attending to new intakes to relax. And with the positive news people are bringing to me, right now my school is considered one of the best around. And for days, I’ve been dazzled by this sudden success and good fortune and I am so grateful and joyous. Yes, I am in the same Nigeria that was frustrating the hell out of me a month ago.

I am easily going to pay off some of my debts and not all, right now I am confident before the year ends I will clear my entire debt so far I don’t reduce my quality and secondly I am traveling by God’s grace during this next holiday for fun and not to go and hustle. With the ways things are currently going for me, I don’t imagine ever leaving Nigeria, God forbid. And i am even beginning to believe by 2024 I’d be able to pay $500k to pay a residence in the US or Dubai and visit whenever I want to relax.

See, you can make it whenever you are, but what you really need is a compass. A map to guide you to your dreams and the grace to not quit your journey before it’s payday. For a five years old business making roughly 10 million yearly profit minus over 20 million expenses...because I am still building everyday, I think I can double that in a year or two and quadruple it in the next five years.

Like I said, just have a plan and know the darkest hours comes before the sunlight.

Rossikk:
Dude, you are just a loud ignoramus with a defeatist mentality.

I haven't much time to dismantle the garbage you typed up there point by point, although it is easy to dismantle. But I'll just make a few salient points.

1) Britain, at both the dawn and height of its industrial revolution, was a cesspit of corruption, criminality, child slavery, and mass poverty. Read Dickens.

2) China 30 years ago, at the dawn of its industrial transformation, was the world poverty capital with no political stability, weak institutions, very poor education, massive corruption and dictatorship, very poor power supply, and a middle class whose primary mode of transportation was bicycles.

3) America, at the dawn and peak of its industrialisation, was a hellhole of disunity capped by a bloody civil war, and succeeded by a society riven by racial discrimination, a virtual APARTHEID system backed by law, and astonishing wealth disparities which continue till this day, with the top 1% of the population owning more wealth than the bottom 50%.

4) The Soviet Union just over 60 years ago, was a nightmarish hell suffering from starvation and dictatorship, with Stalin personally responsible for the murder of 30 million of his own people.

5) Germany, a century ago, suffered grievous defeat in WW1, with her society economically shattered, which led to the rise of Hitler, who proceeded to lead her into ANOTHER disastrous war, just under 60 years ago, in which over 10 million Germans were slaughtered, including 6 million European Jews, with Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, and other cities bombed to smithereens.

If ALL these nations could pass through these monstrous challenges and come out better and developed, so too can, and will, the Federation of Nigeria.

MANY THANKS.
If Nigeria has up to 5% people like you, then we there is definitely a future...

the two police officers have sighted us from afar, immediately we collected our baggage they stopped us and asked us where we are going and our purpose, we got angry and asked for his ID he gave it to us then ask us to follow him to the station, we refused and told him the immigration has done all the necessary check and it doesn't make sense for him to be questioning us, he then later said he is a police blah blah and he has every right to search and interrogate us.. then he asked us to follow him to the station which is near the airport ..

could you believe this policemen kept going in circle around the airport until we couldn't take it again and we vexed and told him we can't take it again , make we lead us to the station, we reached the station entrance then he stopped and said " you need to bribe me if you dont want to enter station" ...at this stage we were tired and didnt further want to push it.. we later gave them 10$ each ..20$ total

we initially suspected them to be scam but we verify from one security guard at the aiport, he confirmed them to be police officer .. we left the officers

what i have noticed about the immigration and the police is that unlike nigeria immigration, they are not agressive at all and you negotiate with the like market woman ... but they are exremely corrupt and it doesnt shame them..
we met a woman and she quote this "IF YOU ARE NOT CORRUPT YOU ARE NOT KENYA" ( their officials )

we made a mistake and i would advice people coming to kenya to not make that mistake , we didnt use uber we used taxi and we were scammed by two women ... later 30s

the 2 women approached us and asked us where we are going, we told them the location and both of them shouted "AH!! THAT'S A 3 HOURS JOURNEY " ... that even uber can't reach there.. ewo!!!, they later suggested a taxi driver.. they called the driver and he came, the driver called it 3000 kenyan shilling but we negotiated 2000, he later agreed..... in our presence he gave the women 500 KENYA SHILLING ( i'm sensing it's her cut.. Them no even mind.. Scam us and sharing proceed for our front ) grin

we later ask the driver and he told us it's just 20 minutes drive cry we were scammed ...uber carried us 1000 kenya shilling on our way back
Hahaha. Oh my God. Kenya seems like another Nigeriacountry. I hope to visit next year or later this year and will chronicle my own experience as well. Thanks for sharing
