this ur friend sef. are u sure he is a qualified doctor? excessive hair growth is called hirsutism and is found in many health conditions/diseases and not only PCO disease. hirsutism is a symptom and is not enough to diagnose a disease. a history followed by examinations would be carried out before a diagnosis can be made. I am sure d hairy girls you have seen arent covered by hair as if they are lions. if it is only a little more than average, there is nothing to worry about. women have both male and female hormones but the male ones are naturally suppressed and some have more than d others. these people who have more may have certain male xtics and that doesnt make them less of being able to be women. they will menstruate and have children but may have thick voices like men and grow excess hair. same happens to men, they have female hormones which are normally suppressed. people who go for sex reassignment use ds mechanism to induce d other hormone and supress their sex ones... hope u gerrit. |
how Omotola should have dressed is d way Adele dresses. I love Adele's style.. OmoT looks very uncomfortable like she was gonna burst outta d dress. |
My prayers are with you all in sha Allah. I pray Allah answers your prayers.. |
gbokukueba: I have always admired 3SC for a very long time i read online last week the comments from Oyo state commissioner of sports to the players very childish and amateurish...I'd like to read that he is a boy though. not unexpected |
where is d link to it? |
@Zayhal, that too. In the north, the culture demands a lot of bride price but there are men going about condemning it already. I am not in support of too exhorbitant prices. I'd rather the women are empowered than having some mahr that would prolly lose value with time. |
Ishilove: Actually, I have. My roomate in way back 200L. I've ever come across. She thinks all christians deserve to be blown up.if u are truthful, you would have died...abi she should have done d killing. how proud of u whatever u worship right now is. ![]() |
tbaba1234: Yea;and if a man becomes abusive, what is d judgement under the shariah. what should the woman do? what punishment does he get? There was a day a brother heard some older people talking. apparently a man beat his wife and as they discussed it, one of them said, after all she is his wife and all d others concluded, yh! she was after all his wife. like it was justified. the guy, a younger one couldnt believe it. he showed his anger at how those men could have said such a thing in my presence. it appeared they would do same, if not already doing it. These issues are real and Muslim women are suffering. it hurts me. |
many Ajiboyes on d list.. a family of football stars..abi they are different ni ![]() |
You need to see a psychiatrist jare... there's a word for your condition kai...make I go check my note... dont be discouraged by d word psychiatrist please. go seek help jare. no amount of lack of concentration should make that happen all d time. |
Registering my presence ![]() Up shooting!!! |
...... ![]() Was there an occurrencr that led to d revelation of that ayah? the biggest misfortune is to be married to d wrong spouse. male or female. |
I think I will just let this go and Allah knows I genuinely seek the answers. all that you wrote, I knew of. it is d same things I have been hearing over the years. I thought there was a new way to look at it. I will keep asking and someday would probably be convinced. In essence you are saying she is not to deny him his rights even when he isnt giving his while she continues to be patient. |
UP 3SC reppn I.B city since ![]() |
you still havent answered my question.let me give specific scenarios. *he doesnt pay for her feeding. then at night, he comes to her bed. can she deny him access? put in mind he has d money. *he keeps away from her because he has a younger wife and prefers the latter's company. in return, she doesnt cook the food he asks her to. are her actions justified? |
IVF in action. congrats to her enough gifts mehn...d |
@tbaba, first u ddnt answer my salam second, I.believe I was aware of what a woman's rights are. I am asking if there is anything in d scriptures that point to allowing a woman deny him his rights. from wizeboy's posts 4 e.g, the steps a man can take are detailed. to stop talking wv her, to keep away from her bed, etc. is dr something detailed on what d woman should do? You based your answers on divorce. what if she doesnt want to divorse him, are there laws compelling him to do right. are dr punishments for him under an Islamic state? can a woman keep away from performing her duties as a form of retaliation for his wrong doings? |
salam alaykum, @tbaba, there is no doubt that a woman is to be devout and I agree that her being devout is in service to the almighty. In a situation where the husbamd fails in his duty, does he still deserve the right to her servitude? In d last sermon of d prophet,(S.A.W) he told d men to keep to their duties in relation to their wives and gave an exception to it. the exception strips d woman of this right if she fails in her duties. Does this apply to d men? can a woman deny him his rights because he fails at his duties? |
logging on to NL since 2008 ![]() |
first, welcome back at Uplawal . I really missed you.It appears you dont read well or dont understand what you read. all I can say is, go back and read again. and STOP projecting on me. |
maclatunji: LOL, you just made a judgement. Ok, which tribes take care of their wives so that we can compare notes. By the way, I know two non-Yoruba ladies who insist they prefer to marry Yoruba men. In fact, one adds that her sister feels the same way. They are Non-Muslims though.I am not comparing any note..take it or leave it like I said earlier. I notice the ones exposed to other cultures are better than the 'local champions'. Imma marry one of those most probably.. ![]() anyways, people should be good to everyone. But to their family first. lobatan |
maclatunji: I don't think I can watch the woman I love slave away and feel good about myself.i dont think this is about some1 you love but one u are married to. what happens when you just cant find the love anymore. what happens when d illuaions of love fade away. would you remain as passionate or even pretend to still be? these are things people.should look into and reasons why love shouldnt just conquer all. when the love fades, would you still close ur eyes at her imperfections ![]() |
maclatunji: Kindly give empirical evidence that Yoruba men are worse than other men.take it or leave it..this isnt a court room I know from what I have seen and I didnt say all.of them are the same but averagely, they are that bad. |
@wizwboy, you dont think d mam meant it. neither are u sure he didnt mean it. why would anyone say things they dont mean to some1 they want to marry. is it some mind games or something. no. I dont think he is preparing her for the worse but that he will do worse than he has been saying. of course no one is eventually perfectly sure but this particular girl will have only herself to blame if things get bad. @ Sissiee I hope u and ur friend are aware that Yoruba men arent too good at being good to their wives.not all, but many of them. I wish her d best even if it is that man ![]() |
@mdsocks, d in house shrink...well done o. ![]() |
Oh My God! did he say all of these to her even before she accepts to marry him? and she is what? still listening to him? I will never tell anyone not marry a particular person. If she can bear it, ma fi mushkila..let her do whatever she feels like. but which kind bush man be that?? God forbid bad thing. |
Babadeen: Can any muslim here explain this verse; Is it that you dont understand what it is about? or just need a refreshment on the meaning. I see in you an Umar in the making. Very strong in disbelief and truly strong on the deen..It shall happen In sha Allah. ![]() |
exercises that boost the pectoralis muscle can be of help. you can google them. I think press ups is one of them..your bre.asts can be firm and d nipples lifted up. give it a try. |
and when women speak out, they give them tags and names. some women are other women's worst enemies. I thank God o. I feel like our great mamas had done the suffering all in d name of being good wives. that one don end! ...it is a new era IMO.. to d fullest enjoynment ni(in my thick yoruba accent ) ![]() |
