[s] DamiBukola:[/s] Not interested in typical unintelligent ipob ramblings. I asked ou for facts to back up your market women gossips and rumors with, do that or keep quiet. Grown man parading around the internet with silly gossips and rumors. Get a damn job. |
erico2k2: Seankay323:Exactly what's the meaning of the highlighted? Price of what? Either you have a serious case of amnesia or you just lack the ability to read and comprehend the rubbish you type and post. While you are at it, please show us how many refineries shut down because of price or whatever silly overhead you are talking about? |
cooldood:You shouldn't be in this discussion to start with since you do not know the difference beween contact and MOU. You keep talking about contract when in fact this is an MOU which is non binding. Again, stop saying contract because this is not a contract. Talking about contracts, yes you can cancel the contract based on the stipulated terms in the contract that requires such measure if the terms of the contract are not abide by like schedule and completion period. You arguing blindly with irrelevant argument. |
DamiBukola:Do you have facts and property titles to prove your gossip and rumors with? Or you are just a fact less grown jobless rumor peddling market woman? |
These clowns actually commissioned a common remodeled brick house? ![]() Also funny is the fact that he's always importing some other losers to inspect and commission his rubbish just like the useless and no project fayose traveled all the way from ekiti to inspect empty land and stagnant water they call amusement park. ![]() . Talk about mediocrity and governance miss road.. ![]() |
erico2k2:He will shut down $15 billion investment because of oil price increase same way all the refineries shut down when oil was selling for $100 per barrel. ? What are you smoking gan sef? |
Seankay323:Price has nothing to do with production capacity as long as it takes care of our needs in Nigeria. And oil is an international commodity and he can source his oil from anywhere. |
9jakohai:We currently consume 40 million liters per day Dangote's refinery can produce over 55 million per day Dongote refinery alone is enough to take care of our needs. Not that we don't need more refineries, but Dangote alone exceeds our needs. |
ba7man:Because progress and development makes them sad, bitter, angry and upset. |
cooldood:Please stop making things up. MOU is not a contract and it's nonbinding, it's just a statement of intent and understanding. Lagos-Ibadan expressway was a direct contract, not MOU. |
Kuwait's 22-Mile Bridge, Cost $3 Billion, Is Nearly CompleteSame number of miles in Kuwait cost $3 billion and only three-quarters of it is over water. |
[b] The Fourth Mainland Bridge will have four lanes and will cost a projected $2.66bn, including the cost of access roads. The state government is to launch a competitive tender process, with the eventual contract issued under the build operate transfer (BOT) model, although the period of private sector operation has not yet been set.The projected amount sounds like a great bargain. |
tomakint:You need to stop defending your own BS and ignorant assertions. You don't have the bridge design You don't ave he engineering design and details including the number of lanes involved You don't have the numbers of houses to be destroyed and people to be compensated to make way for the bridge You don't have any facts regarding the number of ramps and exits and interchanges The cost of materials in China is not the same in Nigeria The cost of labor is not the same in Nigeria China obviously did not import tools and construction materials like trucks, cranes, excavators, earth movers and so on to build their own bridge so give us the cost estimate for all that including the cost of transportation and haulage to Nigeria. China obviously destroyed little or no houses or pay any compensation to anybody. Show us the facts and details you summoned before making your flawed assertions because all you spewed was blind, ignorant and illogical crap. |
dealslip:Do you know how many houses they are going to destroy and how much they are paying in compensation? There's more to the project than just bridge. |
Nwakaumu:You are entitled to your opinion, but what you are not entitled to are unintelligent, bigoted, tribal, ignorant and anti Nigerian opinion. |
fuckerstard:Sop trolling, Agbara is in Ogun state. |

Nwakaumu:1. Nearly all the threads are unintelligent, illiterate and ignorant rubbish, anti Nigerian threads, biafra/ipob related nonsense, hateful and anti other region threads. 2. Your only manner of discussion and contribution calling people bigoted and derogatory names, religious bigotry, tribalism and so on. 3. NL has a sticky thread on the front page against biafra, but they still allow and tolerate tons of biafra related rubbish you people saturate the front page with everyday. 4. Fact is, many of these biafran elements are grossly unintelligent and can not formulate any sane and rational thought or engage in any meaningful discussion. Many of you really should not be on the internet. |
bigsmoke2:Last time I checked, work is still going on 24/7 with construction crew currently building rail bridge over the Lagos lagoon so stop crying over nothing. If you don't know, ask instead of needless criticisms. like the many lagos state hospital which are under staffed and are serving more peopleLast time I checked, they have the largest state budget for healthcare than many states combine and they are also still building hospitals and maternity clinics all over the place so stop crying over nothing. If you don't know, ask instead of needless criticisms. than they should and I doubt what am saying will make sense to you because you are a DIE HARD APC apologist. Ambode is working but a lot more needs to be doneBeautifying the environment is equally an important factor when it comes to progress and development and to add to that, beautification = Job creation, many Lagosians are working on these projects and they are getting paid to feed their families, paying rent and bills, We all know more needs to be done, even in the USA where they have everything, more still needs to be done, but why do we always criticize here in Nigeria the same thing we see and admire in developed places? |
osinbanjoisaliar:This is the reason why you should never raise your children based on hate, bitterness, anger and bigotry because doing so means eternal poor judgement, sense of sane and sound rationale or lack of any ability to discuss intelligently beyond the same hatred, bitterness, anger and bigotry inherited from their parents. This is also the reason why we read the same sad and shameful rubbish by many of them on NL and elsewhere. A whole generation of socially undeveloped kids with almost ZERO IQ |
[s] caracas:[/s] Typical ipob ignorance and silly rant. You people really need to shut up and leave the room for intelligent people. |
bigsmoke2:And I know your type too, you criticize baseless without any sane, rational of justifiable reason/s. Have you explained to us why this is misplaced priority? No, you have not because people like you just open mouth for needless attention. |
walosky:What you saw in the mirror. |
Goldenheart:Funny enough, Lagos state under Asiwaju Tinubu built the 1st IPP/277MW in Nigeria to specifically for the use of the people of Lagos, but the useless anti Nigerian PDP government all because of politics and bad bele scuttled the deal, they all of a sudden directed every generated MW to go into the National grid, eventually denying Lagos state 277MW which is still generating the same 277MW today, but the people of Lagos state are still paying on that loan via FG allocation deductions till today. Lagos state don't have 24/7 electricity today because of PDP, bad bele and politics. Lagos state embarked on Metro rail in the 80s, again, the same FG sabotaged that effort while LASG lost almost $100 million on that deal. ...but the same Lagos state is almost done building the same Metro rail even better than in the 80s with their own money. The only entity holding Lagos back is the FG and the same bad bele and politics. |
bigsmoke2:Your comment was misplaced comment. |
NextGovernor:Other governors are doing great things while your useless governors dey sleep on duty, but you are as usual spewing hate and crying over PMB. You people miss road no be small. ![]() Ambode ti de, carry on. Eko o ni baje o. |
Shut down today, shut down tomorrow, na your own wahala be that. You are hurting yourself and your poor states and their almost bankrupt economy because that's un-generated and uncollected IGR. Yeye and shortsighted people. ![]() . |
9jakohai:Very sensible and intelligent post. Though privatization at the moment looks horrible and unproductive, it is still the best route in the long run. Sadly, the DISCOS have almost zero cash to invest or use to upgrade their operations and the transmission lines are almost worthless and in need of billions of dollars in new investments or just total overhaul. Bottom line, the DISCO need money and banks won't lend them money. I think the whole power system should have been sold to huge power entities outside the country with money, power generation and distribution and good management skills. Many were interested, but lack of government policy direction and focus pushed them away. |

In Yoruba land, Yoruba unity, progress and development comes first before individuals. This is the same mistake you people have been making like forever. |
