What is the big deal about SIM registration? What if I don't do the so called registration. Does that mean they are going to block my line? I guess it should not be by force. I want the house to educate me on this stuff. Thanks.

Guys give me input, now you all know the full info on my rejection.

Here is someone's case on facebook. It should give you a little hope. Pray well. Pray for those of us still awaiting decision too.

embassy gave me permit on 21 july

Its a big problem when you are applying to non-english speaking countries for visa, they dont understand english so well and may misinterprete what you are saying. For example, my father is my principal sponsor in principle and he owns a firm, i used his letter head to prove the evidence of fund to them by saying he has remitted all my needed fund held in my current account (applicant's current account), they went ahead to say i have partly the fund and my father has partly the fund according to the english they used. I did not show any part fund in my application, what i presented was the whole money 5million held in my own account as the applicant. A lot of places wey them goofe for law, too many injustice for their little knowledge. How on earth i fit afford 5 million, i actually brought in my father remitting money into my account to further prove to them that at the completion of my course, i shall return back to niger to take charge of our family company that is well related to my proposed course of study. They gave me right of appeal, am only familiar with UK appeal process, dunno what to make out of sweden wey don use 3 months to process visa, not to talk of appeal, that appeal may not see the light of day before school resume.

The rejected you because of the area in bold. You should not have included any letter. At least, that was not part of the requirement.

I had 5 million in my account when I applied, later I removed 2 mil, later add 500k, then I started taking off and adding back money in my account, but I made sure I had over 3.5 mil, but why my bank go tell 3rd party my balance.

How many years programme were you admitted to? If it is 3 years, there should be no time when your account balance is less than 4.5 million, unless you were actually admitted into 2 years programme (3 million in this case). Keeping your account at 3.5 million is only acceptable for 2 year programme. The embassy has the right to check your account balance since you gave them the permission to do so by signing the customer agreement form during your appointment. You accepted all the terms on the form, wrote your full name and signed with date. All the embassy does is to take the agreement form to your bank and poof, they check everything about your account. Maybe your account balance was actually less than the required amount as at the time they went to check your balance.

So sorry to hear this. These people just reject people for no concrete reason. Why the rejection when you have the required amount in your account. Its not their fault. Guy, no long thing. Put in for spring 2011. Application is still inI progress. I'm still waiting for my own decision anyways. Its well bro.

@Ashiri_IQ, I wonder how these people do their things. I applied 2 days before you did and my case has not been decided yet. The whole stuff is slower for we Nigerians. Many people from india and Pakistan got theirs within 2 to 4 weeks.

In your case, I'd advice you to chill till tuesday if you dont hear from them today.

Did I tell you my friend used false documents? If you read by the lines, you would see that I said "legitimate documents". And who told you that it is only the people that use fake documents that are denied? The fact that you used a legitimate document does not guarantee you visa. Visa is an opportunity, not your right.

The fact that somebody has been denied once at any embassy does not mean the person will always be denied. Get this into your empty skull. I have a friend that was denied 2 times at the US embassy with his legitimate documents. He eventually got his permit after the third trial.

@Poster, you can still try again. When next you wanna go to the embassy, go with legit docs. Dont rely on some bull dogs to boost your account. Run up and down and get a family member that can spare you the required amount for one month. I wish you better luck next time.

Dont even try it. Though it might not be easy to quit the relationship at this stage but it is the best option for you. The money you spend on one 'SS' child is enough to take care of 4 healthy children. After spending a lot of money, the child eventually dies before age 25. So, what is the gain? Its better you cry now (after breaking up) so that you wont cry later (after your 'SS' child dies). The child will even blame you for taking such decision in the first place. I need your advice. My five years relationship is at the middle of a great storm. For the past one year, my girlfriend has been complaining that I am not romantic. She's always telling me that the relationship is boring. Here is a text I got from her today after calling her.

"Each day, my heart longs for a happy and better relationship. Do all you can to make this relationship romantic and fun-filled. Happy night rest".

It all started before we started dating. She made me realize that she is not freaked by words, that guys are always flattering girls with those words. This deleted all the words I would have been using for her in my dictionary.

To my greatest surprise, she has been complaining for more than one year now, that I don’t use words for her. She said I treat her like a normal friend (not like someone she is in a relationship with). I'm finding it hard to use those words because she made me delete them in my dictionary. Anytime I call her, she is always expecting words from me. When her complaints got unbearable, I started using those words but she said I'm saying them because she asked to always do so. She said they are not from my mind (which is true). This made me stop again.

Back in the University days, she does not complain but for the past 3 years, we have been hundreds of kilometres apart. Recently, I asked her why she agreed to go out with me when she knows I am not romantic and lively (we were like 5 guys chasing her back then). She said it’s because of my morals. Naturally, I am an introvert and I don’t talk much. That’s why she said I’m boring. I’m not romantic because I don’t use words for her.

Now, I am thinking of calling it quit with her because I don’t think I can stand her complaints anymore. I have never tested another girl but her complaint is making me to have a rethink. I'm thinking of starting afresh with someone else with a new dictionary that contains all those words. The problem is that a known devil is better than an unknown angel. I don’t wanna lose her because I have invested a lot in the relationship. I can’t imagine myself chasing a girl again because I chased her for more than 2 years before she said yes to me. At the same time, I'm finding it difficult to do what she wants because it has not been part of the relationship right from the onset. I love her but I hate her complaints.

@Iyked, congrats once again. We'd also share our testimonies too. For them to be shocked about your early decision at the embassy, it means your case is a real miracle. Its obvious you are the only one who has been notified in Nigeria so far. (I stand to be corrected). Pray for us too.

@Ashiri_IQ, The best thing is to wait. Dont start deducing anything. Mine is 6 weeks 4 days today and I am also waiting. We are in the same shoes. I've not checked my status online though.
