Further investigation will reveal that many has no business being a teacher!

Why is Elrufai surprised huh As if he does not know the decay in the government.

Most of these people were not employed based on merit or competence but through connections! Or another means of making money because they deduct a certain percentage from their salaries on monthly basis.

Then one wonders why the North is backwards? With these set of teachers?

Other states should also conduct a similar test! (This is not only applicable to the north)

You will marvel
The people who responsible for politically motivated recruitments and beneficiaries of the backhand deals in many southern states collude with Nigerian Union of Teachers to frustrate govt.
If you recall some around 2014 or so, Edo state govnor then, Adams Oshiomhole conducted same and personally discovered woeful teachers in the service.
His attempts to clean the mess resulted in the NUT influenced by useless PDP gangsters in Edo, went on strike to frustrate the govt.
I don't know how it all ended. That's what you 'll see.
The opposition will always want to score cheap political goals by "sentimentizing" the whole thing and the system remains.

Oga, if zoning has never included the minorities, how come OBJ left the Igbos in 2007 to handpick an Ijaw Jonathan?

Or if the majority tribes hadn't support GEJ in 2011, would he have won?
Jonathan was only picked by Obasanjo because his lack of ambition didn't pose a threat to Yar Adua, otherwise Donald Duke was there and a better material than Jonathan.
People voted for him because he was seen as ordinary Nig who has not been part of or from the family of the ruling class. He looked quite and humble.

Unfortunately, FIFA has set the wrong precedent in ordering a replaty of the SA-Senegal tie.

Thus anyone with any kind of grievance will feel they need justice.

Apparently the mistake made in disallowing the goal isn't enough to invalidate the tie, since the SA-Senegal tie appeared to be heavily one-sided in terms of officiating.
The circumstances are different hence no need for sorry comment you made.
SA vs Senegal was cancelled due to the match fixing evidence FIFA uncovered for the reason that ref manufactured a penalty for SA.
In Nig vs Zambia match, there's controversy its just ignorant people and aggrieved losers trying to console themselves including sorry ass people like you.
SportsRe: How Zambians Reacted To Chipolopolo’s Loss To Super Eagles In Uyo by DeRay98(m): 9:16am On Oct 09, 2017
If you look into the archives of our matches with Zambia you 'll see that they dominated us in the '80s, including a 5-1, and 2 occasions of 3-0 spanking of Nigerian in 1981 and 82.
The tide turned against them in the 90s when we first beat them in Algiers "90 semi-final 2-0.
Before the first match in Ndola, Zambians were confident of beating Nig who had not qualified for the last 2 AFCON tournaments.
They mocked us for playing with "Bench warmers" in EPL, planning to field U-20 players(Iheanacho and Iwobi) against them.
It turns out that it was the 2 U20 players that wrecked them at home.
Hence, after their U20 players did well at the WC they started to field theirs.
At any levels in the World stage Nigeria 'll rep African better than Zambia. embarassed

Osheyyyy Jon Champion of Africa. Playing in the Chinese league doesn't undermine your worth in front of goal, regardless of the team. Go and ask paulinho of Brazil Who was just shipped to Barcelona. he has two goals already and Suarez is still struggling with just one. Saying Iheanacho was kicked out by guardiola due to performance reason is terribly wrong. Manchester City needed to play the new boys they bought and had to move old faces like nasri and Jesus navas too. I agree with you on both ezenwa and echiejile but we can't just rule them out beacause they played poorly. They've been loyal and have previously shown they are ready to give their all for the team. I say we keep the team and build their confidence before June next year.
Great insight and understanding of how things go, not all those sentimental analysis by occasional match watchers who only do when the going is good.

‎Seriously, Fashola and the entire APC party need to bury their heads in shame. They thought leadership is by negative news, lies and propaganda.

Apapa-Oshodi Expressway is an eyesore to Nigeria's image. What a shame!

Also major roads in Lagos connecting streets and major cities in Lagos are nothing to write home about. Lagos is deteriorating deep inside but they keep painting it so perfect when street roads, inter-L.G.A roads are death-traps!

Even though some roads are for Local governments to construct, Governor Ambode should not abandon them....he should persuade Local Government Chairmen to work on their L.G.A roads and street roads.

Lagos is becoming a mega city and is now the economic center of Nigeria and West Africa, the bad state of Lagos roads; especially roads around Oshodi, Isolo is really speaking bad of Lagos government.

Ambode wake up o....‎
My friend, these are federal roads that Obasanjo refused to work in other to frustrate Tinubu.

FamilyRe: Man 'fights' His Late Father For Including His Female Children In His Will by DeRay98(m): 10:10am On Oct 06, 2017
Josephjnr:
Yes! Most Africans consider female children worthless and not actually part of the family. However, he should respect his father's will for the man have the right to even give him(the first child) nothing and give all to the daughters.
Individual family in many such cultures are changing the system. Reasonable and informed fathers in many such culture are breaking the taboo and sharing estates to female daughters especially if the man had wealth.
This sense of entitlement has made many first born sons unprogressive in life.
CrimeNigerian Dh970k Exchange Heist In Abu Dhabi Bursted by DeRay98(op): 5:40pm On Oct 05, 2017
One of the Nigerian men accused of robbing a money exchange office in Abu Dhabi claims he carried out the robbery alone and wants the court to acquit the rest.

The seven Nigerians allegedly took away Dh970,000 from the workers.

They are on trial at the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court of First Instance for charges of robbery and forging official documents.

Official court records stated that the gang named 'Dark Sky' whose members were aged between 30 and 35, carried out the robbery at the money exchange office in Musaffah area in January 2017 using knives and iron tools to intimidate the workers into handing them over the cash.
"The men pounced on the money exchange staff during their official working hours, when they were in the process of transferring funds in special vehicles," said prosecutors.

The gang had been closely monitoring the money transfer activity at the exchange for a few days before the robbery and timed their arrival accordingly, police investigations reveal.

Officers said the men forced the employees of the money exchange office to hand over the money from the vans to them and fled using a rental car hired from another emirate with forged documents.

In a previous hearing, all the men denied the charges of robbery and forgery.

And in the latest hearing on Monday, one of the men - the fourth defendant in the case - retracted his earlier denial and told the court that he was guilty of the charges.

"I am guilty of the charges. I'm solely responsible for the robbery and all these other men had no hand in it," the Nigerian said in the court.

He also told the judge that he had planned and executed the robbery single-handedly and that the rest of the defendants were not responsible for anything.

He denied knowing the other Nigerian men and asked the court for their acquittal claiming that they were innocent.

Prosecutors said the Abu Dhabi Police had investigated the matter immediately after the robbery and arrested the men from Sharjah where they were hiding and also recovered the stolen cash. embarassed

The cops had worked together with the Dubai and Sharjah police departments in arresting the gang.

During police interrogation, the Nigerians admitted to the robbery admitting that they also got rid of some phones and calling cards, throwing them away at the crime scene in order to distract and mislead the investigation process.

Officers said the gang had also changed vehicles to confuse the police, discarding the car they used to make their escape from the money exchange office in another emirate, and then using another vehicle to reach Sharjahhttps://m.khaleejtimes.com

AreaFada2:
Spot on. Some of them only went to school due to money remitted from overseas even. Without these regular remittances, there would be a lot more armed robbers, kidnappers, more prostitutes and more young people of both sexes out of school and wallowing in poverty and roaming the streets. Go to places like Enugu, Ibadan, Akure, Benin, Ado, Abeokuta, Warri, Lagos suburbs and other places, a large number of new buildings going up are done by diaspora people, creating many jobs in construction and building material business.

Never mind hotels, farms, and other small & medium scale businesses. Even though often, several diaspora hotel owners had to sell the business. Once they travel abroad, staff there connive to NOT record 30 to 50% of guests received. They share the money. When the owner is in 9ja, occupancy is good. Each time he leaves, it reduces drastically. It does not often matter if a relative is put in charge. Putting many people off investing in business in 9ja, except returning home for good.

Some of the finest medics I know in some the very top university hospitals here in UK are Nigerians. Especially in gynaecology. Not to mention the teeming nurses.
Very true.
The sad part is the fact that our people at home do not appreciate the good intents of a diaspora Nig starting a business at home to create job for the young and make money too from the investment.
Once you're out they run your business down by mismanaging it or stealing from the investment.
They forget that if the business doesn't grow it can't employ more people or lift them.
As far they're concerned you have made your money abroad its their entitlement to "make" theirs from you.
Bad belle and stupidity is evil and counter productive.

And some jobless people never cease to castigate those working abroad as dead body washers. Now compare this to FG budget as a whole.
When people say such you can tell that they are ignorant and jealous. The population of Nigerians abroad in such jobs is minute compared to the population doing respectable and other professional jobs in great places.
There are hundreds of thousands if not millions of Nigerian, Engrs in diff engineering fields, nurses, doctors and other health care professionals, lecturers, researchers, IT experts, transportation, entrepreneurs etc.
These are highly paying jobs and lots of them see opportunity for investments in Nig and they regularly send money home for such and also supporting family and friends.
The some total of these moneys sent home is helping the economy.
RomanceRelationship I Thought I Could Fix Men So I Stayed In Bad Relationships, by DeRay98(op): 7:48am On Oct 05, 2017
Finally, a lady learns and owns up to the errors many ladies are unwilling to admit
dayoamusa
I used to be a fixer. I stayed in bad relationships, attracting the same type of men—men who needed to be fixed. I know so many women in the same position. We attract cheating men, commitment-phobic men, emotionally unavailable men, emotionally damaged men, alcoholics, drug abusers, narcissists and sociopaths. It’s like we are a magnet for men whose pieces are shattered all over the place. And for some reason, we feel compelled to put these pieces back together. But I must admit, I have failed every single time. I never gave myself a chance to sit back and question my motives. Instead of asking why I constantly felt obligated to pick up someone else’s broken pieces, I ran to pick them up without a second thought. Being selfless made me think that coming second didn’t matter because I was putting someone else’s worthiness first. And in the end, rank doesn’t matter, right? I realized that the reason I was attracting these types of men was because I believed I could save them. As selfless, thoughtful, giving women, we think we will be “that woman”—the one who will change them. We think we can turn a cheater into a loyal boyfriend. We think we can help him walk away from the drugs and alcohol. We believe we can help him get over his commitment issues and aim for a stable future with us. We trust that we can get rid of the emotional baggage that he has been carrying for years. We attract these men because we believe they need us. And to leave them would be selfish, insensitive and ruthless. The sad news is, we constantly blame ourselves when they don’t change. Every time they fail us, we think it’s because we failed them. Their hold on us becomes stronger; they keep us around knowing they have nothing to offer. It’s just my view. What’s your viewhuh Let’s interact #JustMyView #JMVwithDayoAmusa #TAO #millionshadesoftao
