I'm so proud to see many Edo names up there, at least we've contributed a lot when it comes to bringing smile on the faces of Nigerians through sports.

Do you know that from 1978-1994, there were usually 4-6 Edo boys in Green Eagles to Super Eagles especially in 1982-94, 5 were playing as regulars in field or on the bench.
Because secondary school football was so popular in Benin that Super Eagles materials were already recognised while playing in their secondary schools.
The absence of such popular competitions in secondary schools in Edo and delta nowadays is why boys have taken cultism.
