No one is talking about your "bottom line". The discuss is " why Osinbajo lost"
To boot, Osinbajo showed he wasn't Tinubu's slave like other "stepdown transformers"
maasoap:
Whatever that you need to tell yourself to make you sleep at night, we're okay with it. The bottom line is that Tinubu won and Osibanjo lost.

He doesn't need anyone's sympathy, my brother.
Those delegates were not thinking about loyalty, na money concern dem.

To help you a little, because it seems you now spend more time at ile-kewu and Muric conferences.

Bigotry means
obstinate or UNREASONABLE attachment to a belief, OPINION, or faction; in particular, prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

That said,
What economic reality are you talking about? Who are the "we use our GDP and forex..."?Do you even know what you are saying?

No need to reply to the bolded, because it shows your depth.

Kindly, look up the meaning of facts too.

Please Stop disgracing us online abeg.No one appointed you a Yoruba defender.Leave knowledgeable and detribalized Yorubas to talk abeg.

Mooh247:
Are you even educated to know what bigotry means?!

Bigotry by stating Economic reality....

Some of you just throw words around without knowing the meaning or thinking of its consiquences

Ibos come to Yoruba land, request forex from the banks, forex gotten from proceeds of our own export , gets products from China to sell to the locals for a price, the locals pay through their hard-earned money and you call us bigot for stating such facts about you ingrates
Politics › Re: Why Yemi Osinbajo Lost APC Presidential Primary - Vanguard by derecho(m): 8:19am On Jun 09, 2022
Kikikiki...so those voted Tinubu were his loyalists?
Forget, political structure... Money swayed the delegates
Duru009:
Yes, even at delegate level. Osinbajo doesn't have Political structure thats my point.....
Politics › Re: Between Yoruba And Hausa Which Region Accommodate Igbos? by derecho(m): 8:15am On Jun 09, 2022
You are one of a few Yorubas making people believe Yorubas are bigots.

Read the bolded and be objective for once.

I don't know who feeds you with info but the £20 wasn't a plus for Pa Awo.
Mooh247:
To perfectly honnest Yorubaland has zero usefulness for Ibos, check out GDP nothing directly or indirectly linking Ibos, infact we still use money from our GDP and our Forex to service Ibo Import driven trade business

When civil war happened which region returned Ibo assets intactly?!

Which region in Nigeria has never conducted a mass progrom or massacre against Ibos?!

While Muritala and Ojuckwu stole all the money from all the banks in Ibo land and burnt it to. Ground, selling worthless Biafran pounds to Ibos, was it not Awolowo that gave each and every Ibo man alive £20 pounds to start again while people whose banks didn't get affected got their money back

Don't generalize...Check where igbos reside in the north and you'd discover a peculiarity.
CYBERSOLDIERSre:
Lies to the Nation.

Only Hausa accommodate Igbo's with genuine love, that why there's more Igbo's in the north than southwest.
Politics › Re: Why Yemi Osinbajo Lost APC Presidential Primary - Vanguard by derecho(m): 7:52am On Jun 09, 2022
Oga, the voting wasn't done by the average suffering Nigerian. It was done by delegates who went to represent those who handpicked them and to collect money.
Duru009:
Osinbajo absolutely have nothing to tell Nigeria after the current administration has failed woefully, after his 8years. Aside that he couldn't build a political structure knowing fully he will contest for president......
Politics › Re: Between Yoruba And Hausa Which Region Accommodate Igbos? by derecho(m): 7:46am On Jun 09, 2022
Oga,you should have left it as a question and allow others give their opinion.

The Igbo man is predominantly Christian and more comfortable in areas where Christians reside. The Christian North, I think are more accommodating to them

I believe it's a personal thing.
NL can give you a snippet of how accommodating and tolerant some can be.

The Truth is, most igbos in Lagos don't see Lagos as a Yorubaland. For many, it's a marketplace.
Politics › Re: Deuteronomy Of Igbo Presidency by derecho(m): 7:15am On Jun 09, 2022
SE as in igbos not geopolitical zone. Are they to believe Atiku's promise?
That'd would be naive of them as APC would remind them it's A PDP agreement.
SeunTheOwner:
Saying SE was marginalized is politically wrong. The NE and NC falls in the same category.

The future is still bright and alterable for Igbo Presidency if they can work on it without emotion.

Atiku has promised 1 term, the SE can split their support for APC probably to convince Tinubu to a 1 term too.
Politics › Re: Now That Osinbajo Is Out, Peter Obi Is The Only Available Option by derecho(m): 12:32am On Jun 09, 2022
Not just the PDP and APC..Most Political parties are..that's why crosscarpeting is easy.
crows2ravens:
Most APC bigwigs are, the party was founded on ethnic conspiracy. And the way Atiku emerged from PDP too.

Unfortunately, Tinubu is anathema in most part of igboland.
He's the reason Atiku would be preferred by those stuck to PDP.
Here in the SW,many aren't happy with him and his "Buhari" sef

My brother, humans are the same everywhere. Every human is capable of deceit.Until a man is transformed, he is untrustworthy.
If you are sincere, an Igbo person would have deceived or taken advantage of someone you know.Same way you would have met trustworthy Yorubas.

We are not bad because we are Yorubas or igbos or Nigerians but because we are humans. I agree there may be a preponderance of some vices in certain areas/ethnic groups but you're sure to find others doing same thing if given the opportunity.

Our elites politicians are the cause. That's why I won't support any politician who believes he can buy his way through. Any politician who I know is an ethnic bigot.
crows2ravens:
Yeah, but we all don't trust one another in this country. So many things have happened from the 1950s, to 1966 coup and civil war, June 12 1993, Abacha being seen as a hero in some geopolitical zones (even till today), Fulani herdsmen, etc.
Hausas give us food and labour
Yorubas give us professionals
Igbos work our commerce
Ijaws/Urhobos give us easy oil money

Every tribe and minority group contribute something important to run a country, yet we still can't work together after over 60 years!

Bros, no be Yoruba ting...it's just that some choose to be slavish and believe anyone who doesn't like tinubu most be Igbo.

Without Deji's tweet, I don reason the mata.
How come Amosu with hin long cap just wake up after Osinbajo showed interest? Fayemi too suddenly remember say hin never buy form.
Osinbajo would have been the biggest fool to step down.

People who know they stand no chance, they refunded their 100m and gave them free 500m with a promise to be member of Tinubu's cabinet.

There are contestants that have defeated their benefactors in the past.

The important thing is, he stood to be counted.

Politics › Re: Now That Osinbajo Is Out, Peter Obi Is The Only Available Option by derecho(m): 11:22pm On Jun 08, 2022
I agree that education doesn't transform a man.Only God's Spirit does.
That's why you can find an intellectual who is an ethnic bigot.
Tinubu may act like a liberal person but not everyone sees him that way.

Some of these Igbo elites have lived in Lagos and must have had a taste of "this is Lagos" not your state. We all know how the average Igbo man sees Lagos as "a no man's land" , their elites believes as a metropolis they shouldn't be stifled.Tinubu, being a shrewd politician had checkmated them and even disenfranchised many of them during elections. Do you think, they'd forget?

crows2ravens:
You're right, but what is the proportion of those people in the Nigerian electorate?

Many of the people choosing Atiku and Tinubu are intellectuals too, mind you, but they've not understood true leadership and why developed countries are developed, while some of them are after personal gains.
Politics › Re: Now That Osinbajo Is Out, Peter Obi Is The Only Available Option by derecho(m): 11:06pm On Jun 08, 2022
I don't think igbos prefer Atiku.
Those that prefer Atiku, is simply to spite the Yorubas for always colluding with the North to keep them away from the top seat.
It's the SE PDP doing that
tollyboy5:
Ok I won't agree less.but it futhers my point of Igbo preferring atiku over tinubu .

It's quite not understandable, intellectuals across the country will vote peter obi but why would Igbo prefer atiku on a normal day.

Tinubu will do more for Lagos and IGBOS will benefit immensely.
Im always finding it hard to understand how Igbo men think.

If Yorubas are crafty and libral in nature, it's apparent in all Yoruba doings. But the Igbo man way of thinking still amaze me
Politics › Re: Deuteronomy Of Igbo Presidency by derecho(m): 11:00pm On Jun 08, 2022
Sentiment aside....The SE is marginalized.Anyone saying otherwise is being economical with the truth. It is their turn.
That said, to save Nigeria, we must wrest Nigeria from those dividing us.Whoever would reward productivity and foster unity is welcome.

Those politicians are there for personal gains.Whether from Ebonyi or Abia...Every Igbo politician in APC is a tool to trouble the opposition PDP and grab whatever they can from the center.
Even Peter Obi isn't the choice of the PDP in the SE because he is different from the average politician.

That's where people are missing it.
The igbos are not voting Peter Obi.
Peter Obi is mainly the choice of intellectuals and those who are tired of the way things are going. Those rooting for Peter Obi are dissatisfied with Anything APC,Atiku and a failed Nigeria.
tollyboy5:
I'm voting peter obi.
Southwest will prefer peter obi or Tinubu
And southeast will prefer peter obi or Atiku.

But southeast need to know they are the second largest group of people in Lagos. Whatever favors Lagos will favor Igbo and Yoruba so i don't know why they will ever want atiku for crying out loud.

We've gone beyond sentimental voting.
