I wonder why some are shocked at some dissenting stance.
Who is deluding you that men don't care?
Of course, some would lie to you but except you could turn a man to mumu, even the ones that scattered your life would dump you for a younger, better and fresher lady.

Dem dey tell ladies now. Some dey form I don't care.Later they'd come and start disturbing some pastors for prayers.

Iyaebe:
I no longer give tithe in the church because my G.O is one of the richest pastors in the world, I simply give my tithe and care to the old and abandoned because that's where my passion is and I derive great joy doing that and I believe its better than given it out in the church where you can't account for what your tithe is been used for but my mom thinks I'm backsliding lol
There is a difference between alms, tithes and offering.
If your believe in tithes, then do what the Bible says.

Secondly, we obey God's word because we love God not because our G.O is poor or doing well.
If God's word isn't clear to you, spend time on it prayerfully.
Christians aren't sentimental folks, they understand God's mind and are led by God's Spirit.
Finally, tithes aren't meant to be taken to old people. Paying tithes doesn't mean you won't cater for others.
It's okay if you don't want to pay tithe but make sure your life is right with God.
Mind you Jesus wasn't against tithes but He said there are weightier matters
Romance › Re: Body Count Means Nothing. Her Body, Her Choice Respect It. by derecho(m): 9:30pm On Oct 24, 2021
Some think being a man means taking stupid decisions.
One silly decision can ruin your marriage and family.
If body count doesn't matter to you, just go to any brothel and marry anyone.

Please never allow any foolish advisor convince you that all girls are useless. That all of them are vile.
If God has blessed you and you love the sanity of your children, abeg marry a decent lady and one who values her body.
Don't import a public toilet to your house except you intend to provide free services for passersby. Guess who washes the toilet and bears the stench most?
Please, conserve your energy for more productive ventures.

Secondly, most people you see downplaying chastity today, were from homes where it meant little or nothing. Or they themselves have been sexually messed up .
Every chaste mother would teach chastity. Though, a few repentant ones would open up and warn against waywardness.
Those proud and immoral ones have no value for chastity.
They'd rather spread their nonsense philosophies and encourage the naive to join them.

To boot,

Anyone who sees having sex with multiple partners as a normal thing is a confused man. Girama can't change it.
These are the kind of guys that'd urge their wives to sleep with other men to get promotion.
If the mentality is, IT IS HER BODY, imagine the children that'd be trained in that marriage.

Summary,
You can't give what you don't have.
If you're a lady don't allow anyone deceive you. Most men and all sane men care about Fidelity. Only a few men, would close their eyes to it NOT because they do not wish you were intact but because they have no choice.

I doubt this is solely about the pastor but holding people accountable for their actions.

Friend, did you listen to Morayo's account of what happened that day?

Secondly, don't you think some of those attacks on Tinubu's properties was linked to the lekki tollgate shooting?
If you monitored the protest, before the shooting, rumors had it that Tinubu wasn't happy because tolls were not forthcoming.. The violence escalated when the shooting was linked to Tinubu/Sanwo-olu.
I think Sanwo-olu's family house was burnt too.

That said
Hope you know others other than Tinubu (igbo businessmen inclusive) lost properties worth millions.
Please let's be objective.

Am still waiting for someone to tell my why Igbos in lagos don't listen to kanu on any other issue like sit at home only for kanu to mobilize dem within 24 hours to destroy lagos, I mean the Igbos we are talking about here are spare part dealers, okirika sellers, roadside sellers, electronics dealers etc. Den at the same time d Mushin, oshodi, and all other agberos scattered around lagos chose to stay in their house and watch Igbos burn down properties .

I used to hear a lot about how educated South westerners are until I lived in lagos moreover the Endsars blame on igbo goes a long way to show how dumb a lot of persons are

U have never heard of Igbos destroying properties or fighting anybody before outside igboland even though I do witness firsthand how the agbero task collectors treat dem, in market igbo women are not allowed to sell anything yoruba women are selling, upon all these u will never see dem fight anybody yet the so called educated people will always be first to say igbos don't respect their hosts.

The North can keep playing their division cards well as long as some so called educated dummies are falling for it no problem
Friend, one thing I want to tell you is, all humans think essentially the same way.it's the Adamic nature.
Though, some of those vices are more pronounced in some cultures.
An igbo, yoruba, or hausa man would act similarly if faced with the same challenges. Forget the stereotypes.

Until a conversion occurs, man is naturally wicked.

That said,
Those saying it's the Igbos are just mischievous.
However, this worked in the 1960s when the coup was tagged Igbo coup and wasn't managed until it resulted in the civil war.

I see the needless hate on NL but I'm often reminded that it's human to act that way. Education /religion can mask it but doesn't remove it.
A converted Yoruba man is a dependable man. Same with a converted Igbo man.

By conversion,I mean, being born again and taking on the life of Christ Jesus.
Not talking about churchgoers o.

Well, it's easy to call him a fool or weakling.

But I'll tell you of a true life story.
It was new year eve and on returning from church, a robber had broken in unknown to the family. The wife and daughter left the church before the man.The robber held them hostage and was about to rape the daughter when the man entered. Filled with rage,The man dashed into the kitchen and came out with a knife. The robber engaged the man in a fight ,overpowered the man and killed the him with the knife, though the robber sustained serious injuries. Not sure the robber raped the girl after the incidence.

You can't blame the man for wanting to defend his daughter but he died in the process and the robber left alive.

My point?
Sometimes, physically engaging your aggressor isn't the best.A wise man doesn't always react immediately.

You must undeestand the man is a pastor. He needs to be careful. It's not usually easy to allow God direct us.We don't want to be seen as fools. However, God's foolishness is wiser than man's wisdom.

Is it wrong to allow the law take its course? No
Whether he institutes charges against the landlord or not,the state would take it up.
On the flipside,
He may even be playing smart. How?
If he was the one pressing the charges, the landlord's family might be able to beg him out of the case. But since it's a state matter and now in the news, the landlord must face the law.
FreeSpirited:
The father must be a compound fool.
.
First he intervened in a fight that is not his business, second he couldn't protect his 3 month baby and exposed him to violent brawl, third he wouldn't press charges to make the guy suffer for what he did? What kind of father is that? Some people don't deserve to have a baby
Where is the mother? Is she also as foolish as the father.

I'm not sure Nigerians would be agitating for self-determination if Buhari is seen to be "for no one and for everybody".

This matter is simple.

If you don't intend to enslave and you feel the igbos are the problem. Why not let them decide their exit?
When people point to injustice, you see them as enemies of the state.
Growing up, I have always asked for the rationale behind the quota system. I am told it is to balance things out.. No problems.
Why, I have consistently asked, shouldn't we apply quota system to elections? (Assuming our census figures are correct.)
Why can't 1vote from Southern Nigeria be equal to 10 or 50 votes?
This amongst many other things should have balanced out who becomes president.

For those thinking they are being patriotic by supporting wickedness... We know your motivation. All i can say is Continue.
One thing is constant, no man is God.
God still rules in the affairs of men. He can turn the wisdom of the wise backwards.
All what you are gathering can be scattered by one foolish son. . He doesn't need to be deliberately foolish.

Nebuchadnezzar, the king of kings, lost his senses for 7 good years. Our President isn't even the king of Africa.. One day, people will understand that "man at his best state is altogether vanity".

There are different levels of engagement.

MrBlock:
Let's stop being unreasonably critical. Clearly, Osibanjo is refering to the youths making change in government affairs like law making and administration of the country.

The youths have an idea of what they want, but it's time to stamp this idea through deciding who wins at the primaries, attaining key political positions at state/federal level, appointing the right Chief Justices, appointing the right security heads, making the right laws that we think is needed to govern this country etc. An extreme example of such laws could be to behead corrupt politicians, amongst other laws.

We can't keep protesting every time. We need to start playing the political game that would finally send these old politicians to oblivion.
