Three children and still messing around begging for kiss from men and women.
These are the ones that will come and teach us about relationship and some mumu Africans will be telling us that these are the enlightened ones.
You know you can't add value to a man, you went on to marry. Had 3 children and took all after divorce. Instead to focus on how to better the lives of those kids, she's out drinking and begging for kiss.
How are we sure her instability didn't cause the divorce?

True but there's need to "sanitize the environment"
Kids are impressionable and could also be influenced by other kids whose parents were careless.
Sensitive contents should be legislated against just as child prostitution.
One day a child with a warped mind would start developing unhealthy interest in your child and imagine what'll happen if your child is the only sane person in that school.Burned with lust, they may rape him/her if they can't convince him/her.

Bro I wasn't aware of the former thread, I simply referred to the title of this thread! Which I have specified the answer. And I repeat again not everyone fancies Virginity. Take it to the bank! Some fellows like experienced women and that's fact, weird but true.

Anybody disparaging virginity is an idiot. The bone of contention here is virginity solely a determinant for successful marriage? Not if it's not a good thing or a lofty ideal!
Kikikiki
Friend, I get your point.
And I know there are weird guys that's why I deliberately added "sane" guys.
However, is there a sole determinant for successful marriage?
Not sure the OP intended to say virginity is the sole determinant for successful marriage. If you look at the topic which was a response to an earlier thread , someone said : "Virginity doesn't guarantee a successful marriage " to disparage virginity. I guess he got so angry and created this thread. The person was actually saying it's no use. I remember someone even said: does being a non-virgin guarantee a successful marriage?
Family › Re: "Virginity Doesn't Guarantee A Successful Marriage" Is A Statement Of Stupidity by derecho(m): 10:39pm On Oct 03, 2021
lawkenoz:
Now you're coming closer to the crux of the debate. No one says virginity doesn't matter. The topic of discourse was virginity isn't the sole requirement to a successful marriage and the answer is yes!

The other side talks were just rants in response to what some silly boys were attributing the virginity status to, like women who married as virgins don't fall prey to other hypergamous temptations women typically are known to fall for.

And please don't presume for all men, I know men that left virgins for non virgins (married), I dated Virgins and dumped them as virgins as well. Virginity means nothing to some men, you really need to discuss with some men around you and figure this out.

It doesn't take away anything from a virgin. For those who value such.
The crux of the matter is the bolded not the italicized.
The topic was a reaction to comments from a previous thread.
No one would ever say all that is needed in marriage is virginity.
Those who don't value virginity have their reasons. For example, if the virgin is a pretender and is only a virgin because she doesn't have the opportunity to have sex.Of course, guys won't value her.
Howbeit, no guy would say "I don't like a virgin please go and get deflowered, then return to me."

We are saying who will those sane guys choose if the girl they desire come as a virgin or a non-virgin.You don't need a prophet to tell you bro.

Forget those guys..they won't tell you the real reason. Some don't even believe they exist. Some are saying to sway naive girls that it doesn't matter.I mean I can't exhaust it but believe me it's abnormal to opt for fairly used when you can afford the brand-new.

You just reminded me of a girl many years ago who in a bid to disparage virginity, said the elder brother said if a virgin comes to him that he'll ask her to go and be deflowered first before he'll marry her. I didn't waste time to tell her :Only a fool reasons like that.
Family › Re: "Virginity Doesn't Guarantee A Successful Marriage" Is A Statement Of Stupidity by derecho(m): 7:18pm On Oct 03, 2021
The thief analogy is to further explain the place of wisdom over capability or strength. You alluded to weakness and incapability of the OP to handle any lady with plenty body counts is why he needs a virgin.

Like I have always maintained, virginity is not the only thing needed for a successful marriage But it's good Not because of any religious inclination...
It's about wisdom.

It's just like saying you would prefer a fairly used phone to a new one if both are offered at same price.
I honestly don't believe any sane man would opt for a non-virgin if the virgin possesses all the qualities as the non-virgin.

All I'm saying is let's not act as if it doesn't matter.
A man may say it doesn't matter for any reason but deep in his heart, he prefers a virgin.

lawkenoz:
My brother all you said is also true, but remember not everyone shares your religious belief system, that a woman is not a virgin doesn't also make her a prostitute.

Does virginity matter in marriage? The answer is dependent on what people value. If it's what you value for your marriage above all else then yes! Some men don't attach value to it, they will look at compatibility of both virgin and non virgin women in terms of what they have to offer and bring to the table. Only when that criteria evens out between both women will virginity be the deal breaker. If the non virgin woman exceeds the other in all other criteria any sensible man will pick that option and vice versa without recourse to who is a virgin or not.

Unless your trying to say all non virgins who married cheat on thier spouses then I don't know what to tell you. Comparison of a thief and a non virgin woman just doesn't cut it. No married woman will remain a virgin, there's no guarantee that you marry a virgin and she won't cheat tomorrow, women's minds work differently from men.

So if it's about the OPs statement, virginity isn't the sole determinant of a successful marriage. There are marriages where women married as virgin turn olosho.... isn't that a conclusive answer to the question?
Family › Re: "Virginity Doesn't Guarantee A Successful Marriage" Is A Statement Of Stupidity by derecho(m): 5:41pm On Oct 03, 2021
Funny but I agree that a virgin can turn a prostitute. Like I always say
Every prostitute was once a virgin...
However, a virgin need not be a prostitute.

It's not about being 5mins or 3secs man, it's what is preferable.
No responsible man would want his wife to be warming another man's bed.
Satisfaction is relative...there are women who are addicted to sex so forget satisfaction for those ones.Sex is a thing of the mind.
But since we are not here for sex education, let's address the issue.

The issue is a reaction to a statement that being a virgin doesn't guarantee a successful marriage.
This seeks to find out one thing amongst others: does virginity before marriage matter? Or how does it affect marriage positively?

Wisdom, I believe is better than strength (since you mentioned weakness).
You don't go all out to hire a thief because you are financially strong. Though, anyone could become a thief, no wise employer would employ a thief when you have someone with a similar qualifications and no bad record of theft.
A wise man sees trouble afar off and hides himself but a fool rages on and is destroyed.

God designed sex to be explored in marriage AND HE IS WISER THAN ANYONE.
Sexual defilement and wrong exposure to sex has its consequences.

Why choose to fetch water with a basket instead of an good bucket?
Even if you are "capable" and can go a hundred times, it's wisdom to conserve your strength and use it for other profitable ventures.

lawkenoz:
40 secs man don drop quote. You want virgin so that she won't compare your weak arse game with better gbola abi? grin grin grin grin grin your analogy and comparison doesn't even make sense to begin with.

Virginity is a virtue which is dependent on your moral or religious value. Some men like the olosho you hate why? Cuz she dey knack well and sex is all he cares about, some men love the borehole you dismiss.

Virginity disappears once the hymen is gone. After it leaves what remains is what matters. The Oloshos of today were virgins of yesterday.

Virgin can turn olosho anyday, Nigerians aren't the most disciplined people on the planet after all....we rank highest for porn watching, google exposed us, so that your virgin is probably waiting to use it to mugu you! After all she knows you're likely not a virgin yourself and will use it to make you loose guard....by the time you realise what's happening, your gateman is chopping the kpomo you thought was your sole proprietorship.

Small children wey never marry go dey make noise noise about upandan.

So sorry for her.
Killing him won't add any value to her life.
As it may be too late to be counseling her but what was it she needed in a man?
Personally, I value virgins but I'm not swayed simply because you are one.
Some girls are virgins not because they value it, they are because they are ashamed to be naked before a man. These ladies would easily sacrifice their virginity if they find a guy who will sweet talk them.

I usually tell people
A woman isn't a wife until she's prepared. I believe a Wife is a prepared woman(help meet).

Don't be surprised, the only reason the philandering husband married her was because she was a virgin.

KarinaLove:
Hmmm...

I disagree.

Some women still want Virgins as husbands.

Because the world is doing it doesn't mean it's right. Because every man is sleeping around town doesn't mean it is right.

Virginity shows value for yourself, fear of GOD and above all Purity and a sense of cleanliness.

This is something every man should want to have atleast for himself before marriage.

A neighbor of mine is married to a sleep around man. One-day she was telling me not to think of getting married. I asked her why?

She said that she was a virgin before marriage. Did all the tests and was clean. After marriage, she said she started having different STI's anyhow. Every month it was treatment. Until she was diagnosed with HIV.

She said it was from the husband becos he later confessed that he was been sleeping around since his twenties.

Before she left, she told me she will poison him to death before December this year and noone will trace it to her becos she knows what to do. After his death, she will travel far away where noone will see or know her

She said it with pain and bitterness in her heart.

That her husband is already a dead man walking. This is October.

Friend, who told you "there's nothing like male virgins"?
And what do you mean by nature does not place value of male virgins? If you are Christian, you would have read the special reward for men who didn't defile themselves with women.

There are some men who kept themselves from sex before marriage.

In case you don't know, sex(especially before and outside marriage) is one major reason men are weak.
Check most men who are easily manipulated by women, their major weakness is sex.

Virginity is a virtue no doubt and young ladies should strive to go to their marriage beds with their virginity still intact. However, the truth is that virginity alone will not guarantee a successful marriage. I have been married for almost 13 years and I know marriage takes a lot of work and sacrifice on BOTH sides.
We know Virginity alone doesn't guarantee a successful marriage but the same person with all other qualities can't be same as one who willingly got deflowered.
Do you think a mum who was a public toilet before marriage would have the moral justification to tell her daughter to be chaste? Of course, she'll be amongst those buying condoms for the daughters.
Sex is a major issue in marriage nowadays except the parties involved have self-control.
A lady who had been with many guys before marriage is likely to have experiences to compare. The temptation is higher if the present husband isn't as amazing as her exes.
Though, there are other factors aside psychology and spirituality, if both parties kept themselves, they are likely not going to have issues with comparison.
Fornication and adultery are very close relatives.

Just that it is very popular with gangster rap bad side but was also popular with good people like Bob Marley, You can't just label people immoral because of dreadlocks
Get the drift of the discuss sir/ma. The "morality" came into the discuss when someone loosely used the word "morality". I intended to help the person see the meaning. From the meanings, you'll see words like " ideal" and "proper".That brings you to" is it ideal or proper for a decent person?"

If the preponderance of the posts suggest that it's not ideal, then you should get an idea of it's morality.

Personally, I'm not keen about morality but righteousness based on the Bible. Reason? What is morally acceptable in a place may be immoral elsewhere based on norms.
Righteousness on the other hand is universal and God's standard.

Secondly, I prefer TRUTH to facts.Facts can change but truth will never change. So I seldom discuss facts except it's purely for science.

Finally, concerning the bolded part, that you've not seen or discovered something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

It's his choice to don that hairstyle and it's also his choice to dress up and not go naked to the registry. He knows if he violates the latter, the society who call him mad.Though, he isn't mad if he chooses to go about naked BUT his choice places him as one. That choice and action if condemned by that society, is Improper hence immoral.
