Christianity Etc › Re: Will The Church Accept Efe's N2.5Million Tithe? by Dereformer(m): 8:04am On Apr 16, 2017 |
anochuko01: why pay worship offering if you wouldn't pay tithe? my brother, tithing never began under law. was there law when Abraham gave tithe to Melchizedek? did you study verse 7 and 8? Giving to the poor is nonnegotiable but does the poor service your spiritual need in church? if tithing doesn't affect your blessings, then giving to the poor shouldn't as well. after tithing, Melchizedek ( a King and a priest, and as a symbol of Christ) BLESSED Abraham ( the father of Faith). that's verse 7 and 8. Anyways, its your choice... Some few years back, I was under the bondage of tithe. During the period, I was always reminded of how God will open the windows of heaven to bless me if I pay my tithe. In the church, we were told of imaginary individuals that gives 90%. We are cajoled to believe that if we don't pay tithe, things will be tight for us. The truth remains that if tithe is a very important principle for blessings, my BOSS would have spent time explaining its importance. Are you even aware that in the old testament where tithe was first mentioned, God forbid the children of Israel from entering the synagogue with money to pay tithe. The first three richest men in Nigeria are not even tithers. Finally, I prefer given to the poor. Jesus told me, when I do so, I give directly to Him. |

anochuko01: you Dont choose where to put your tithe, God does! and he says at his place of worship. that's where tour spiritual needs are serviced. however, giving to the poor is nonnegotiable, but not from your tithe. you can even give 50% to motherless babies home, it doesn't concern God, as long as his 10% is given. The levitical priesthood were allowed to collect tithe under the LAW. Hebrew 7 :5 Now the priesthood having been changed, there is made of necessity a change of the law also. Hebrew 7: 12 My blessing does not come from tithing. My role model, JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, told me so. It comes from helping the poor. If tithe is so important and a bases for blessing, my BOSS would have told me so. If I must pay tithe, then I will also offer burnt sacrifice. |

my advice is once you tender your resignation, don't go back no matter the promise.
When I resigned from my former company, the chairman called me for negotiations.
I told him point blank there is no need negotiating with one who already out, and that he should negotiate with those who are still in the system. |

PassingShot: Buhari on the sick bed still intillls greater fear and command greater respect than most Nigerian politicians. His "dead" body is better than a living Fayose. Fact! **** Buhari should stop talking to outsiders. He should prove to nigerians that he is alife by talking to any member of the opposition. Preferably Fayose. People like you cannot reason with your brain. PMB is in a vegetative state. The cabals hiding his true state of health are the ones holding nigerian to ransom. Ican is not any easier to pass in lagos as it is in other states.
About half of the students that sit for the examinations in any
diet come from lagos. So, it is natural to expect a greater number passing in lagos
compaired to other states.
I have seen some ICAN students in lagos who have been writing the exams for more than six years now.
I have equally seen students who qaulified under one and half years in other states.
Like some said earlier, Ican exams requires determination. |

Career › Re: HND Holders: How Late Is Too Late For A BSc? by Dereformer(op): 6:11pm On Feb 20, 2017 |
Dereformer: Let me start by saying, I'm an Hnd holder. Having gone through posts on this forum where some of my fellow Hnd holders bemoan their fate in the in the labour market, I cannot but say, upgrade what u currently have by enrolling into a university of your choice for a part-time Bsc program. Whether you go ahead to get PGD, MSC or professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CISA, COREN, CITN, etc, the discrimination will still be there without a Bsc certification. Even with my HND(Distinction) Acct, ACA, i find it difficult to believe that many organisations will publish vacancy requiring only university degree. Folks, we have to get this Bsc. Even though at my age (37) I should have obtained an MSC and one or two more professional qualifications; but i have made up my mind to go for a Bsc come next year 2013. Some universities will start you from 200 level, while some like IMSU will give 300 level. Plsease, be encouraged. Responses are encouraged. |

toptop: In the academics, specialization is key. Except you end up in a business school, other universities prefer straight-jacket scholars. In Nigeria, finance has a discipline is not deepened. in fact, the accounting profession has registered appreciable progress. Let me say this, where an accountant is needed, a finance graduate may not fit in. But you will hardly find an opening pinned down to finance graduate in Nigeria. |

Politics › Re: Who/What Is Responsible For Nigeria’s Economic Recession? by Dereformer(m): 8:44am On Feb 13, 2017 |
Buhari is responsible for recession in Nigeria.
Watchout, if another government comes in now, recession will go.
Nigeria witnessed recession when Buhari came into power through a coup in 1983.
As soon as he was overthrown, recession disappeared.
Buhari is a huge curse to Nigeria.
Anything he touches either dies or whithers away.
I am not praying for his death, but he has brought so much misery to Nigerians.
What surprises me till today is why, of all the educated men we have in Nigeria, Nigerians choose a man who does not understand basic principles about running a country.
A man who spent the first one year of his administration blaming the previous administration. A man who went outside the country and told the world that every Nigerian is a thief.
Indeed, we deserve the kind of government we voted into power. |
