coollabman: Yes! the CBN is a reputable government agency!
you'd be surprised the kind of power at the disposal of the government. they can go as far as making the MMM website inaccessible in Nigeria (since they have no physical address). Something similar was done in China!
Common be real! How and when has the Nigerian government scammed you?! MMM is still in its nascent stage (barely one year) in Nigeria! It will eventually grow so big and will burst like a bubble! dragging all of you hooked up to the system down the drain. That's why a ponzi scheme (that has a pyramid structure embedded in it) is dangerous. A few people make money and it appears to be legitimate for a while. Eventually more unsuspecting people join and it grows to a stage where it collapses. Causing those that join late in the lifespan of the scheme to loose money! that's why its a scam! MMM is a scam! This is an apt description of MMM. It is what it is 'a ponzi scheme'. A friend has been disturbing me recently to invest through him, I looked at him with all his education and enlightenment he does not realise that sooner or later he's going to loose his money. For those that have ears to hear, please hear that MMM is a scam. |

All the cases so far ruled on by these criminal elements should be re- tried.
The will of the masses should prevail.
I support PMB in this one. They should all go to prison for collecting bribes to save as a deterrent to others.
All those involved in giving the judges bribe including Wife should go to Jail.
Please no plea bargaining in this one. |

Pls let's learn from d ants from all their savings they survive. woe unto he who mislead my sheep, an u my brother needs to repent. pls Richie pay 10% and do not concern urselve with wat the money is used for ur business is with God and not man. Hope God will expose all those Apostle Paul refer to as hucksters, historians turned preacher for d offerings, palace prophets. what you wrote up there is complete thrash, unmitigated balderdash and bunkum from the pit of hell. If tithe is so important as our pastors would want us to believe, Jesus would have dwelt so much in teaching tithing. I don't need to pay any tithe for God to bless me. As a matter of fact, God has been blessing me even without paying any tithe. During his earthly ministry, Jesus spent a great deal of his time teaching the disciples on the need to help the poor and take care of the needy. Most of the people shouting pay your tithe have not as much as bought a piece of wrapper for their mother in the village. I will never pay tithe and it will not stop me from going to heaven. Pastors will tell you to pay your tithe and the windows of heaven will be opened for you. And I tell them that the richest black man on earth is not even a Christian and does not pay tithe. The argument for tithe is flawed. Read Hebrew 7 : 5 and Hebrew 7 : 12 |

BraniacX: Don't be stupid! No alliance with the north will lasts as long as a united southern alliance simply because our interests in the south are very different from the interests of northerners and after they use you to secure power on the basis of a common political enemy in the southwest they'll discard you just like they're discarding tinubu and align with the southwest against you and the cycle will go on and on! So our common interests should be the only reason to align politically! And when i talk abouth the north, I'm referring to the core north not the the middle belt and north central with whom we share common values too! Them we should reach out to and cultivate in order to break the hausa/fulani yoke of hegemony on Nigeria why didn't you have this line of thought in 2015? |

patriotic9jaboy: The silent movement of a lion is not cowardice. Tinubu obviously has a plan B for his so called enemies. He has won several political battles and i trust him to come out victorious on this one. We will put an end to this born to rule caliphate in 2019 by aligning with our southern brothers. A united south can defeat the north any day. I trust Tinubu to come up with a contigent plan by 2019. GEJ dared him and today he is in otueke. Buhari should thread carefully we will never align with the west politically. The Yorubas destroyed southern allegiance in 2015. We will rather align with the North than the Yorubas. We will now remember all the insults we received from the Afonjas. Buhari should think of choosing any body from SE or SS as VP and should start massive development of the regions. That way he will endeared himself to the people . |

solace2013: No Nigerian University especially the recognized ones will take her for MSc direct in any course, she must do PGD first. In her shoes, I would go back for B.Sc/B.Eng as the case may be, with distinction in HND, the likelihood of her graduating with a first class is there, that makes her a hotcake for the academic or research communities in terms of grants, scholarships, oversea postgraduates etc. I don't know how old she is anyway. I won't allow my children to go for HND in Nigeria at the moment, this is a crazy country, I passed through HND, l had to go back for my first degree even after PGD, the discrimination was too much. There was this olodo B.Tech guy who used to be my boss, I did all the works but he comes around to talk rubbish, he unclothedness was exposed the day l resigned to go for BSc, I thank God for taking that decision, I'm enjoying it today. My case is similar to yours. I graduated with HND distinction from a federal polytechnic, finished my ICAN within one and half years. After some years I had to enroll for a BSC in Accounting in a state university. I completed the program with a good first class (4.7). Currently, I am gainfully employed. What i tell my friends with an HND is to go for BSC. Will on it, fight to come out with first class. |

obiaguna: Lol OP.. How dare you compare Ijebu garri without sugar to Fried rice and chicken.
Well if you have the funds then go to LBS. It's the closest thing to whatever you can get abroad. It's quality, good value for money and you also get to have access to good networks and major industry players. An MBA from Unilag is a total waste and I wouldnt want anyone to waste their money. If you can't afford LBS then take another certification. There's CIMA, FRM, ACCA DipIFRS or even CFA. Since you are really keen on getting busy academically. What ever is worth doing is worth doing well my man. thanks a lot. I never knew cost of enrolling into lbs is very prohibitive. I will think of what next to do. I have been thinking of ACCA dip (Ifrs) since last year. I think i will go for that. Thanks once again. |
Don't even think it twice. Go for LBS straight, and don't look back. In LBS you have a team of seasoned, world renowned businessmen and scholars who lay more emphasis on practical knowledge and experience than theory, while unilag will only offer you the normal lackadaisical business as usual approach that characterises all government institutions in Nigeria. Not to talk of the emphasis on theoretical work and possibility of strikes and all. But of course, you don't need to be told which is more expensive...
Thanks alot for your analysis. In terms cost, how much is the estimate to complete the program in LBS and what is the duration? Do they have weekend options?
Thanks in advance. |

Please, I need practical advice.
MBA obtained from Unilag and MBA obtained from Lagos Business School, which is more recognised and more marketable.
Initially what was in my mind was Msc accounting. But since Unilag doesn't run Msc accounting on weekends and Lasu doesn't offer msc accounting, I'm considering MBA. Hence my question above.
I have HND and Bsc, both in accounting and ACA.
Please your comments are welcome. |
