Kobicove:China ended one child policy 2016. They even started 2 child policy which they stopped around 2021. I know lots of Chinese people that have 3 kids. So this your submission no follow at all. A Chinese family youtuber i love so much has 3 kids.( DRUNKEN LEE).And so many others. |
Educationalserv:Don't mind that guy. I have lived in both world and I will say I spend more in Nigeria as tax and levies than in the UK. The only thing I don't pay is income tax in Nigeria. And when we pay landlord levy, they charge you according to the worth of your house. Don't eve know the rationale behind that. I pay a lot for naming a street every year. Is that not tax? I still pay landlord tax to local govt. That levy wike sealed pdp house for, I pay that. When I bought my land, I coughed out a certain % to the local govt. To approve the building plan, another hundreds of thousands. And in between, they will come for another money. Before you finish your house, local govt will collect more than 1m. That was some yrs ago. You will still do your water, but nepa cable and wire your street. I'm not in Nigeria but I'm still paying. Ask traders why they increase prices of goods indiscriminately. Because of tax. Nothing more. Some pay in millions. At tinubu square,a family member pay millions to local govt every year excluding other levies. That guy don't know what he is talking about. |
nairalanda1:In uk you pay income tax, council tax and health tax. I pay income tax, local govt tax, street naming tax( I was told the money has increased last 2 weeks), Landlords association levy, Nepa levy, vigilante levy and contribute money for road where I live. Add all together, I pay more in nigeriathan in uk. As of now as I don't live in Nigeria anymore, the only one I don't oay is income tax, the rest, I still pay by virtue of having a house and a name somewhere there. My people have shops all over nigeria. Do you know what they pay monthly? Some run in hundreds as of 10yrs ago. Ordinary market woman selling tomato can't calculate her monthly income, local govt do the calculation for her by giving her a quote every month. Is that not income tax? What about shop tax of every day, sanitation tax nko? Because we don't have statistics, people like you assume only civil servants pay tax. Market people pay tax more than civil servants in Nigeria. Ask local govt chairmen. A |
nairalanda1:Nigerians pay tax everyday in their shops. Tell your go to to use to be productive time with that money instead of siphoning it. Do you know how much transporters pay everyday. Ask me oluoma. Shops like idumota, main market onitsha rakes in billions every year. Where is the money? Even private cars pay tax to police. There is no angle Nigerian govt don't milk Nigerians from. So rest this your argument. A d the most annoying thing is we don't see any tangible thing they do with this money. |
Agbegbaorogboye:Nope. Kwei Armah from Ghana. A living legend. |
Mypeople2:There lies his allure. Dark and mysterious. His eyes will pierce your very soul. |
Why are they demolishing the house? Any small thing, dem don dey demolish house. What is wrong with these people |
Eriokanmi:Do you know them? When your daughter dresses that way,she too have donated. At topic, I dressed that way growing up. I wore bum shot like crazy. Show belle and still my mum was my best friend and put me tru adolescence to adulthood. It's not by wearing deeper life gowns and jihab. Ladies in jihab are also selling. Go to abuja and see them. I hate moralists cos they are low key predators. For snapping those pictures without consent and focusing on some body parts, if the Nigerian police know their jobs, he should be arrested and thrown into jail without going to court. |
Lezzlie:He don't even know the cultures of diff tribes in Nigeria. Wonder who made these men the law of the land. There is no Nigerian religious leader who is not a narcissist. |
They will all kpai on top woman matter. Anything to subdue a woman is acceptable to these low self esteemed moralistic entities. |
BBC correct yourself pls. There is nothing like hausa-fulani. There is hausa, different ethnic group with hausa as their language and fulani, another ethnic group with fulfude as it's language. This narrative has made the hausa tribe dormant and redundant cos the fulani has taken over what rightfully belong to them by attache. |
Here are some of the many alarming health revelations uncovered in the report: 1. Nearly half of American children now have a chronic illness. That includes asthma, ADHD, diabetes, obesity, autoimmune diseases, and more. In places like West Virginia, over half of all children on Medicaid or CHIP are dealing with at least one of these issues. 2. Autism rates have exploded—from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 31. In parts of New Jersey, the rate is as high as 1 in 19 boys. The trend is accelerating, and for the first time, someone in government is publicly asking: why? 3. Childhood cancer is up more than 40% since the 1970s. We’ve spent trillions on healthcare, but more kids are getting sick—and no one seems interested in investigating the causes. 3. Ultra-processed food now accounts for 70% of the calories kids eat. That includes school lunches filled with lab-made, shelf-stable junk. It’s fueling an epidemic of obesity, diabetes, and early metabolic dysfunction. 4. Teen antidepressant use is up 1,400%. Suicide is now the second leading cause of death for teenagers. Instead of fixing the root causes, we’re medicating the symptoms. 6. Toxic chemicals are showing up in breast milk, baby food, and even umbilical cord blood. From hormone disruptors to known carcinogens, babies are being exposed before they’re even born. 7. ADHD medications rose 250% in just a decade—antipsychotics are up 800%. But there’s no improvement in learning or behavior outcomes. The report calls it a “medical overreaction to a societal crisis.” 8. Food stamp programs are contributing to childhood obesity. States like Nebraska and Indiana are banning soda and junk food from SNAP purchases—and others are following their lead. 9. Teens now spend nine hours a day on screens. That, combined with chronic sleep deprivation, is driving up anxiety, depression, and developmental delays. 10. Our health agencies have been compromised. The FDA, CDC, and NIH all take money from the industries they’re supposed to regulate. The MAHA report calls it a “systemic failure.” Read the document in full here: nytimes.com Wetin dey happen. Is there any atom of truth in this cause it looks scary. |
pocohantas:Never seen local dog foods. They don't even pack dog shit. Na so person go dey step on it. Car tires, shoes etc. Every experience I had with dogs in Nigeria wasn't good at all. |
pocohantas:Haaaa ![]() You don't know your people again? I'm even surprised celebrities didn't join. In a country where to eat is very hard for some people these days, they are buying dogs. I'm sure they are feeding them garri, rice and soup instead of dog foods which I know Nigerian companies don't produce and the ones in the marts are very expensive. I watch one lady who have a husky. During summer, they shave all the hair. There is this small water reservoir where the villagers go and wash farm tools or whatever after coming back from the farm close to their house. This dog goes there to swim almost everyday. Anywhere he sees water, whether muddy, he will jump in. I'm sure somebody has that breed in Nigeria. |
Nollywood is not ripe for action parts in movies. They are not ripe for medical movies. They are also not ripe for advanced movies. Just the same old play cum drama they have been dishing out since inception. This includes the ones on Netflix and YouTube. |
JuanDeDios:Churches that are not more than 1-2%. Tell me about it. |
malali:Why did your country take their Greek gift? If you can take their gift, you expect them to gift it free? Reject their gift, stand on your own and fight them like a man. You love free gift yet want to control the narrative. Trump is blocking the free gift holes. It's time you stand on your own. It's even good for you. |
Philosopher1979:Or Iran. Tell them. |
dettolgel:Has no bearing with brexit. |
malali:Go to school only. That was what you signed up to do. During interview, you never said you wil become a radical and engage in politics. After school, go back to your country and start protesting for whatever. Simple. |
Igahbarr:Countries, organisations sponsor them into prestigious universities just for things like this. |
These universities breed radicals in form of international students. Boko haram is nothing without university of maidugri. Sanitise these schools. All over the world, ideologies are born, nurtured and executed from universities. High time they are put in check. |
After the epistle, will you vote for him again? YES OR NO? |
RenoOkriTheGoat:All except Bernard are not English names. People are just writing names. At least check if they are English names or use the English equivalent of that. |
What is wrong with that? Men have been donating before my grandma was born in foreign countries. Women are just catching up. I think that women own is harder and requires more medical approach unlike men. Rest. |
Pacesetter123:Some countries eat house rats. As long as it's not human being. |
GloriousGbola:He even join snake ![]() He and his family need therapy ![]() This is not normal. |
Accordingly, it's older people that dresses bam bam here more than younger women. Younger women don't have time for that cos of work and childbirth. And I love them. They have less worries. Their hair, nails, clothes are all on point and they take their time to do anything. We should dress like deeper life people because we want to preserve morality. Morality in Nigeria? No.nsense and morality |
It's as old as child trafficking but we call this biz money ritual biz. Foreign hospitals buy organs very cheap from Nigeria. There are hospitals in Nigeria that are their partners. These organs are harvested by experts and secured and transported by the same experts. Get them and this will end. |
Andrew, rat out your accomplices. Unless you want to take the fall for all of them. Read he want to run for mayor. The audacity. |
Abeg, make una leave pdp and labour for tinubu and his people to enjoy. Thank goodness Nigeria is a multiparty country. |
