Which right thinking person uses bonds to fund infrastructure?
This man will use any avenue to borrow. Show what you did with the money borrowed? Road. Useless projects that attracts zero investment opportunities.
By next year, he will borrow and start sharing money for vote buying. They are still cooking up the name they will call it. Trado money has come and gone.
Nigerians deserve them. |

bemeruca: The US maintains a 10% tariff on UK imports, suggesting that while the US gains significant concessions, it has not fully opened its market in return. Overall, US benefits economically through better market access and lower UK tariffs since the pm agreed to lower tariffs on US goods from 5.1% to 1.8%, making US proucts more competitive in the UK market.
There is a huge improvement, even if the UK accounts for only 3% of US imports. Succinctly put. I have already giving an example here like months ago as I do complain bitterly about the trade imbalance. Love buying goods from America but the tarrifs are crazy. Electrical is nonsense. They will tell you buy one with UK plug but will deliberately not produce it yet selling one with American plug. You do step down still it drains your money like no other thing. Sometimes your house will go dark. I trashed all of them. Some people are so mad about the trade deal while some just accepted it. Some are gradually changing their options about trump as Starmer is doing exactly what they are accusing trump of doing. Tighter immigration laws, what trump has been doing. So now, what's the diff? Told one why are you angry at trump when Supreme Court said man for man and woman for woman? Isn't that what trump has been preaching? She huffed and walked away . I was just rolling with laughter . Humans. |

raumdeuter: By the way the UK Prime minister just proposed new immigration rules
https://www.nairaland.com/8423431/uk-pm-promises-tougher-visa
No American nor anyone is screaming about this because he is trying to protect the interest of his citizens first And more to come. It's gloomy out there for immigrants. Migration through care job is over. Countries that are highly affected are India, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. According to UK govt, instead of getting careers from abroad, those careers that lost their jobs due to tightening of immigration rules should be employed. This ends the exploitation of immigrants by recruiters who place them in thight end after collecting so much from them. Nigerians have paid like 20k pounds to get jobs here for them to come in and what they see on ground is not what they were told. So yep, we love what Starmer did. If there is need for relaxing this tomorrow, we will see but for now, it's OK. Labour is seriously shaking the table. Thanks to reform. The masses supported and voted Labour in but they were lukewarm in delivering their promises. Reform came with radical promises and the last vote had them sweeping up everywhere. It was a wake up call for Starmer and his cabinet to fulfil his promises that made people vote out the tories. Top among his campaign promises is tightening immigration. Also, the gender problem has been sorted out. Lot more coming. (Wish Nigeria can stop ethnic and religious politics and move forward) In the same vein, Trump is delivering his promises that he made to American people that made him won in a landslide, we are seeing results but some people pray he fails. |

Staying over there to work is one of the perks and if it's being strangulated, then spending millions to study in the UK is a bad investment.

These same people wants to "control" immigration.
Who controlled you when you came to Africa
Well, our leaders from way back circa 1100 have been without spine and our youths docile.
I no blame them (whites) at all... Uk colonised Asian countries and has more influence there than in Africa. They have since moved on. Most countries in this world were colonised. Uk itself was colonised. They fought one of the most brutal war in this world to gain their freedom and become what they are today. Move on and stop this victim mentality. It's a lazy man that don't learn from the past but always dwell on it. |

luvinhubby: This festival called Imo Awka that is dedicated to the idol called by the same name owns all the monkeys in Awka and that is why nobody kills monkeys in Awka. The festival itself venerates the ancestral spirit of Imo and is used to invoke the spirit of violence and the dead. Every year this festival is celebrated, it will always record violent death and bloodshed of youths either through accidents like this, stabbings, gunfights & knife fights. Sometimes the number of death can reach up to five or more and the blood from this deaths are used to renew the covenant with the spirit of Imo Awka.
Awka Christians & youths should rise up and do something against this bloody festival Tell that to the guys. |

He is nursing presidential ambition.
That is whe anambra and igbo people will rate him.
Igbo politicians have that desperation to be noticed and can do anything to belong. The reason it's hard for igbo man to play national politics cos they don't know how to form alliance without betraying their brothers unlike others.

Mariangeles: So, you're trying to teach me how to cook party jollof, eekwa? 😀 That post is right. If you smoke your tomatoe, pepper and onions, you don't have to burn your food. In some countries, eg when making fried rice, they flip it on hot smoke like 3 times to achieve the smokiness. The food should not necessarily burn. Also, less water and steam cooking does the magic. Not really a fan of smokey party jollof rice except the bottom. I love that burnt part and will eat once I am sure of the ingredients used. Too much ajinamoto. Gives me serious tummy ache. Some has too much oil too. |

Same with Governor Zulum of Bornu State who paid millions of dollars to marabouts in Saudi Arabia to come and pray for security in Maiduguri Maybe, you just noticed that now.
