kestolove95:Dem wan die? 😂 |
Chucks13:They're talking about 25%, you're talking about winning. Jumping into conclusions like a housewife on menopause. |
computer0810:People dey talk, 'Copy and Paste, propaganda bots dey follow talk. Small nyash dey shake sha. |
Whyning. Omo-agege either worked for his people or for the government. Make Una no dey whyne unasef. |
Let's get this straight. He forged document, he reported himself to the police and the police allowed him walk? 😁 |
habsydiamond: cchub:Not in a public place 😏 |
Something they will just announce their winner so the others can approach tribunal as normal, they want to waste funds and still end up announcing their winner, after which others will still approach tribunal 😏 |
maestroferddi:Thank you for such masterful observation. |
It would be recalled that on Wednesday, 12th of April, Lagos State Government released a statement titled 'LASG FROWNS AT CULTURAL MISREPRESENTATION BY PROMOTERS OF “GANGS OF LAGOS” FILM/SERIES' On a general note, the movie is a misrepresentation of some Yoruba cultural heritage and that is largely one of the unpolluted facets of Nigeria we still have left as a people. Such actions is wholly condemned. However, when LASG takes its time to weigh into an issue like this, one must take two steps back and really examine the matter; if LASG is concerned with the same thing the average citizens are concerned about. On a closer examination, the movie exposes a lot of what is wrong with the governance in Lagos like (but not limited to) godfatherism, deep-rooted corruption, enslaving and weaponising the dregs of the society, politicizing traditional heritage, and in very clear terms too. Something like this puts LASG in bad light, even though it is the truth. Things like this becoming more of public knowledge is a greater concern for the government than 'cultural misrepresentation'. Art is a way of preserving history for the next generation and I'm certain the powers that be would not like this to be associated with them across generations. See an example of such exposing scenes in the video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGhCF4RD1pM

Buchi, anybody can be your next of kin. What you don't understand, just leave others with better understanding to pass knowledge about it. Being a next of kin does not automatically make such person a beneficiary in the properties in the case of death and absence of a will. It's a pity most people automatically think of that when next of kin is mentioned. For those who have, say a pension account, did you not specify the beneficiary(IES) irrespective of whatever information you gave the bank as your next of kin? You can imagine you have a hypertensive, hysterical or impulsive wife for a partner, I'm sure you won't want her to be the first person that is being contacted if there's an emergency or something. That's first and foremost, the role a next of kin gets to play. |
waledeji:There are some seeds in your pocket.
|
Vivianat:I agree with you. Unfounded news have no place on Nairaland. In other news, you're also a propagator of false information.

APC!! Anything short of removing this devil-in-2015-disguise of a party from the corridors of power is an exercise in futility if we want to build the Nigeria of our dreams. So long as they're anywhere near, things will NEVER get better. |
FreeStuffsNG:In that case, ask Lai Mohammed to issue another statement on behalf of the FG, calling for clarification ,😂 |
Okay.. Let me understand this.. I'm looking for my phone that is silent and I can just long press the home button on the phone I'm looking for to activate Google Assistant and after that I'll tell the Google Assistant on my phone which I just long pressed "Ring my phone". And just in case it doesn't ring, I can check if my data is on and if it isn't, I will slide down the notifications tab, put it on, then long press and try again, "Ring my phone". And if it Rings, I'll scream, 'Yaay, I found it!', then pick up the phone I'm looking for which I've been operating for the past 2-3 minutes. I always knew there was something stronger than Kwale weed.🤔 |
Guestlander:In your opinion, his evil was being hidden from the rest of the world. But TIME did a piece on his evils in the same year. TIME is in another continent! Except of course you mean no one knows about Hitler's misdeed; not UK, not Spain, not France, not Italy who are fellow European world powers, not Austria who were invaded in the first quarter of the same year by Germany for not agreeing to a treaty.. Nope. All them countries be dumb as door nails while America managed to get all them juicy tidbits all the years down. Damn.. I've sure seen many but you're one of a kind. Hell you should get a new word in the dictionary for your kind 😂 |
A twitter user, Charles, shared a video from an incident on Kogo highway recorded by a passenger in a public transport parked on the highway. The video shows a man in military regalia verbally assaulting and then proceeding to deal a heavy slap on a young man, before he was approached by an older man who was most probably telling him not to assault the young man so. The officer still went in search of the boy and encountered other passengers in the parked buses, yelling and making menacing threats towards them. The person covertly recording the video inside the vehicle, explained that they're being held on the highway because a team of policemen, led by one Ogu Godwin while the rest could not be identified. One of the passengers to be extorted was led to an ATM/POS to withdraw some money while the others were made to wait with an officer standing watch until they came back. Other vehicles stopped and they jointly condemned the actions of the police, which culminated in the boy being slapped. Recall that in October 2020, youths took to the street to condemn the widespread police violence, an effort which seemingly had little impact so far as the atrocities did not really stop significantly. A bolder attempt was made at the polls to eradicate the deep rooted corrupt practices in the country, led by OBIdients to usher in a system of governance devoid of the old guards and godfathers, with the people's interest at the forefront. See video of the assault below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9Pm_RkdyeU

Guestlander:Nah. You're ignorant and flaunting it. Go and read Time's piece on Adolf Hitler and stop embarrassing yourself. You claimed his antics were not popular knowledge then and I tell you that you are either dumb of the facts of the matter or you're just mindlessly doing the propaganda hatchet job you're known for. |
This is Opto of the TopNotchGang, a famous prankster. I don't get how the story get to be this. They gave him a drug that made him sleep for extended hours and played a prank on him. That's all. I've seen this clip on their page already. |
Gazelle Gagaraga sound similar to the lady's name so I can understand the OP's interest in this matter 😂 |
Guestlander:Time's 100 Most Influential is for better, for worse. It's not enough to just make the list; the why is actually the pudding. What's with APC supporters and blind ignorance? It used to be a normal thing when people keep quiet over things they have no knowledge about and take time to learn about it; but not these propaganda-infested 'malcitizens'. It's a joke if you think Tinubu's appearance on the list is 'all that'. How about you read Time's article on Hitler and see if they had anything positive to say about him or his appearance on that 100.

I think she was just an old woman or so but the child thought she was a witch. I don't even remember the book again 😂 |
This one nah normal doings now, which one be poverty there? 😒 |
You would think England are the owners of English Language right? The grammatical errors I can pick out from this write-up from the very first line is enough to make me disregard it. Safe to say, school no be scam las las. Could it be that no one in that camp is really sound enough to proofread it and make it look real enough at least? 🤔 Staking my reputation on this as an advanced learner of English Language, I will categorically tell you that letter was drafted by a Nigerian (most likely an early stage intermediate learner of English Language). Subject this letter to a truth test and see it fail so woefully you'd bother why you even bothered |
FlyoruB:If at all I was in doubt over the end of the world coming, I think it's all in the past now😂 Imagine an APC supporter, and a Tinubu propagator, some of whom are fasting o, talking about people wey dem use lie swear for. When last did they look in the mirror? 😂

In an interview on Sunday Politics with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels, Senator Ali Ndume of the APC, a senator who represented Borno South, gave the shock revelation, as he believes they're the driving force behind the emergence of Labour Party as a national force. Speaking on the results from parts of Nigeria, Ndume said "..It goes to tell something that people really don't talk about and that is to say I think the signs are out there that the middle income group or social group and the youths are getting tired of (do I even include myself) us in our 60s, 70s, 80s, who have been in the corridors of powers since... His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi, was back at doing what he does best in the sectors that target human development and a better quality of life, especially the education and health sectors. Recall that Obi had jetted out of the country to the UK to celebrate Easter at a largely Nigerian church, Jesus House in London. This left Nigerian citizens in awe how he manages to get around with such energy and zest uncommon amongst politicians his age. However, he left the UK on the same day and was seen the next day at Immaculate Heart of Mary Specialist Hospital opening ceremony. The hospital was built by the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters at Nkpor. To register his pleasure at the initiative of the Sisters to make quality healthcare more readily available, he donated a princely sum to the management of the hospital and pledged his continued support, which is at this point, quite normal with him. After a while, he zoomed off to another hospital, At Charles Borromeo hospital, where he made another financial committment to the management in full support of what they do. In Peter Obi's words, Any nation that takes education and health of its citizens with utmost priority can be counted among the developed and will as well achieve more of its potentials. Coming from people who went mad with virtiols and demonstrations over 'Congratulations'. Like MURIC, like APC supporters. |
To be honest, we need more jobs in this country, true. With schools on holiday now, I have had time to witness the real face of the unemployment rate amongst Nigerians. Else, why will a young able-bodied young adult embrace frivolity as a way of life? |
Meanwhile Twitter people don mad https://twitter.com/kusssman/status/1645097749673656320?t=tZOsmeLWMX2B0aLPKLwtHw&s=19
