Nigerian youths may be polarised along political lines but one thing is certain; everyone irrespective of tribe or religion has had a dose of the wrong side of the Nigerian Police Force. Police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin took to his twitter handle to congratulate Israel Adesanya on his latest win. However, Nigerian youths basically told him to shove it up the dark place as they took jabs as the possible things that could happen to him in the hands of the Nigerian Police, had he started his current trade in Nigeria instead. See reactions below: https://twitter.com/BenHundeyin/status/1644946399602044928?t=dylwbfYHpbbqqwFkzNe2qg&s=19

77up:Well, your loss obviously. |
Saga16:Nah stupid. He was caught doing wrong and must face the law; just like the Ajao King. The other Igbo law abiding citizens are not foolish. So why must we celebrate them? |
An ad as seen. Very accomodating, I tell you.

Chinjo2:😂😂😂 |
Nice, he learnt well. He put his name first in case they try the hijack games as seen at National Level 😁 XerXers:I do not agree with invented but practised? Definitely. It's a government for the people, by the people and with the people down there. The strongest political unit is the family; anything beyond that is plainly fragile compared to the people's collective will. Once the majority of people say No to what they feel is not in their interests, good luck to any traditional ruler making them conform to their ruling. |
ernesco0816517:I tell you. I had to be sure it's really today. It's no wonder how he was able to effectively cut costs in his governance. Man is everywhere when he needs to be. |
I mean.. This is sad 😂 I even thought it was a memorial or something.

Someone said this is how some people will be looking t the Pastor 😁😁
|
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg4VskZ8aks His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi was at Jesus House, London to observe the Easter solemnity. Here's where the Pastor recognized his presence in the church but initially addressed him as 'The President' which elicited cheers from the congregation. He retraced himself and the congregation already picked up on that, their cheers drowning him out. That left a humbled Obi signalling his thanks to all and a flustered Pastor who could not stop guffawing even after the congregation cheers died down. Funny 😁 Moment RCCG pastor Irukwu introduced Obi as ‘president’ in Londonhttps://dailypost.ng/2023/04/09/moment-rccg-pastor-irukwu-introduced-obi-as-president-in-london-video/?amp=1

Okay cool. Let's hear what Benue has to say about that. |
There is this thing these guys say whenever you convert to Naira; they say 'don't you pay taxes, utilities and what nots'? It's fine. At least they have access to quality education and healthcare by paying their taxes. In Nigeria, do we spend all of our earnings on ourselves? Our minimum wage here is #18,000 per month. Maybe some make more but a great number equally make less. Out of this you get to pay from your own pocket for -Rent -Food -Clothing -Education -Healthcare -Electricity -Alternative Fuel How much do you apportion to all these? Those working for registered companies pay tax as employees but gain no favours in healthcare or education. Then factor in some luxury expenditure and more importantly, savings. And what if it's a family? 😂😂 Please, just stop it. I recently have an acquaintance that emigrated to Canada. She had a remote job in 6 digits here in Lagos which she continued for about two eye blinks there before she quit. Reason? No way she's be earning in a month what she could make in less than a week of menial jobs there. And she was no doctor. They're making it look like it's doctors issue alone; they're playing. The same reason people leave rural areas to urban areas is the same reason people leave Nigeria for a better life elsewhere. The former is cheaper to an extent but it doesn't account for the waste of one's prime. |
Is it a crime to be honest in Nigeria?
|
Seyiemath:Only God knows how many people this happened to and we nailed them because we didn't know better. |
valiju:I'll like to ask you a pretty much straightforward question since we have a low cost of living. How much do you think the average Nigerian adult citizen earns if you are to assume? |
aybabz101:You get? They're talking as if the NIS is kept busy because of doctors on the run. Doctors alone can never account for the numbers of able bodied citizens seeking a better life elsewhere. |
coputa:Divide that amount by 20. More than half the teaching population in Nigeria don't make that in a year. Correct me if I'm wrong. Talking about a good life in the UK, the taxes and utilities gives them access to healthcare, education for their kids, electricity, fuel, e.t.c. right? Nice. How do we pay for those things here? Don't we pay for them out of our pockets? Make we dey sha play |
alfa666:Nice one. Are you insinuating they even want more pay? Thanks for this point. |
That bill made sense only to people who prioritise waste of time as a lifestyle. It costs a lot to emigrate to a country which offers better value for labour but people are doing it anyways, and in large numbers too. Hell! Nigerian medical professionals are in high demand outside the shores of our country. And instead of the government to seek ways to make here like there, they're trying their usual 'shut down whatever you can't control tactics'. The reasons teachers don't have much advantage like doctors is the required teaching qualifications. Is the government aware though that UK for example has made it easier for teachers in Nigeria to apply for QTS which once approved, they can just emigrate and get a teaching job without having to take an additional course? The minimum salary for the lowest level of teaching (NQT) in the UK is about £28,000 per annum; an equivalent of #25m in Nigeria. |
We Igbos and you Yorubas can keep dragging who's superior and whatnots while the Nigerian tribe that boasts who's actually recognized as the No. 1 in Africa by Forbes be looking at us like a bunch of jobless fools. Anyways, lemme just report the comments with tribal slurs, no time. |
Okay, that didn't work. You should have cropped out the date for effect but it's fine. There's a reason we always busy your lies. Same reason this one is bust already 😌 |
LeoDeKing:When Lagos State Government reports their IGR I guess. |
A lady fumed that she won't see it because of the role played by that fair female actress in the run down to the elections; Toke or Toyin, her name escapes me. She even had a lot of supporters and must have influenced some other who didn't think it that way to bin the thought of seeing it. I think that is quite extreme and I think if it had Anikulapo sex scenes we see online 😉, some people for no mind am. Thankfully, I absolutely don't watch Nigerian movies. But politics no reach where my playlist dey. Asake and co. dey make me feel like hustler of the year when I have them on😎 |
Prettychild:Living with helpers. According to him, even himself and his wife find places to sleep at night and return during the day, probably not to inconvenience their benefactors. Thankfully, all of that is about to end in glory. |
Damn! This image ![]() |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5tX7QnhFqw A twitter user, @zheeno_rocks, shared a video of a homeless man and his wife, sitting outside in the open air and having a simple breakfast of pap and bread. They were seated on one of their sofas, beside the cleared rubbles of a demolished house, where they were previously living. The twitter user spoke of being moved by their plight and wishing he could do something about, especially with the rains around the corner. He added keywords like Peter Obi and Obidients to see if he could get it to trend. And it did trend. He got positive reactions from fellow twitter user who spurred him to get in touch with them however possible. He was able to do so and got their account number. Since then, Nigerians across all tribes and religions have been flooding the thread with proof of funds sent to them as well as material pledges; some even promising to take care of a new apartment costs. This also caught the attention of Vanguard Newspapers, who did a special edition on them to give them more publicity. Despite the biting economy and seemingly polarised atmosphere, Nigerians were able to unite, to help a fellow in need.

This truck reminds me of Avalanche; but Avalanche looks way classier |
Even inside the camp? I see Rev Alia falling out with the FG on this same matter. He has already started calling for their intervention; something his predecessor did countlessly but didn't significantly get. |
