SEUN: They say it will take a miracle for you to win, what's your take on that?

OBI: Well, my political journey has been a miracle. So many things have happened in my life that people never thought would be POssible.

In 2003, i contested for the Anambra Governorship election under a party that was just one year old. People said it will take a miracle for me to win the election that year, but I won. It was a miracle.

Six months later, i was impeached. I challenged the impeachment in court; People said it will be impossible for me to come back to The Office, that no governor has ever come back to office after impeachment. They said it will take a miracle for me to win the case in court, and I won the case. And indeed it was a miracle!

I came back to office and in 2007, an election was conducted and Andy Uba was declared the winner. I went to court again to seek for the interpretation of our laws, i told the court that the tenure of a Governor is Four years and i should be allowed to finish my tenure. People said it will take a miracle for me to win that case, I won. That was also a miracle!!

So Seun, my Political journey has been a miracle and I'm waiting for the bigger miracle to happen. No one has ever achieved anything significant without a chorus of critics standing on the sidelines explaining why it can’t be done.

This is for the 'doubting Thomases', you know how the saying goes, 'Nothing is hidden under the sun. Those who seek truth, find it.

The Yoruba Community in Anambra State, in November 2022, coronated the third Oba of Awka, Alhaji Abdul Olahan, popularly called Ezechinedu, (Leader led by God) by his admirers.

Before him were Oba Owolabi I and Oba Oseni II whose transition took place about a year ago. Another thing is the school payment policy. I teach in a Private School myself and over here, we get paid after the new month begins (sometimes on the 6th 🥲), even as I'm a member of the management staff. It's not such a bad thing but it's always best when the cheddahs get in quickly right?😉 Find out from trustworthy colleagues, the payment policy or just stay calm. The new month just begun.

An advice for the government. They seem to miss the fact that under the Igbo rulership, a King is only as powerful as his cabinet. How a clarifying question turned into a pissing contest.

All of these people making this noise, how much tax did you pay to the government last year? Let's start from there.

It is not by Lagos this, Anambra that, Rivers the other; what legitimate right do you have to be angry that the government is ripping you off?

When I see you all taking this pissing contest; eager to clear your own people instead of expressing your personal disappointment with how the country is run, it's really disheartening.

You have a country denying your next generation the best they could have despite your efforts of today and you're here spraying each other with urine.

As a resident of Lagos, the state is poorly run. As an indigene of Imo, the state is poorly run. As a long-term guest of Delta, the state is poorly run. For all they give to Nigeria, For all you give to your state, you're madly short-changed. Yet you have strength for pissing contests.

@OP, Anything short of true federalism and resource control will always make key development decisions like this always take the backstage. I'm desperate for a sharp upturn in Nigeria's fortunes, which is why I believe only a new idea can bring about the radical change Nigeria requires and Nigerians deserve.

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 Election, Mr. Peter Obi, has dismissed a purported audio recording of a telephone conversation between him and the Presiding Bishop, Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, as product of the endless forgeries the All Progressives Congress has a notoriety for.

He said this in response to a trending audio recording of an alleged conversation between him and the influential Christian cleric in which he was purported to have asked the cleric to mobilize support for him ahead of the disputed election.

Obi who spoke through the Head, Obi Datti Media Office, Diran Onifade, in Abuja, on Sunday, said , APC’s desperate bid to grab and retain power using subterfuge must stop.

He said, “It appears the All Progressives Congress’ desperation to grab and retain power by foul means has refused to go away more than a month after they have grabbed the election as they planned.

"While we are toeing the constitutional path to retrieve our mandate, those who have truncated the wishes of the majority of Nigerians have recoursed to mischief and endless subterfuge to continue to hold on to what they know does not belong to them.

“From the show of shame in Portharcourt to the drama in the Ibom Air aircraft, both of which they contrived, they have now moved to the circulation of a deep fake audio file aimed at promoting religious tension in the country.

[I]“All these are meant to serve no other purpose than egregious mischief aimed at demarketing Peter Obi. If the goal is to create a credibility problem, the ploy has failed woefully.[I]
