Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Got A Job 30k After Nysc. Your Advice Please by DesChyko: 7:28am On Aug 22, 2023
Inside life.

Stay steadfast. Explore opportunities to get a new, higher-paying job or how to make more with your time spent in your current place.

I had a friend who was paid about 30k as a starting wage last year September. He was really discouraged due to expenses and the balance he has every month after monthly expenses and kept telling me he will quit. I encouraged him to start doing more things in the school to improve his personal value. To be honest, the area around him has little to offer by way of value. He has a family to care for too.

He's quite knowledgeable about systems and used that opportunity to learn more and offer value to the school. After that, his salary was stepped up with 5k, March this year. He also started lessons for learners in school and that grew his earnings in school time to about 55k. He informed me in July that the school owner said he'd be moved to 50k wage this September.

Well, things are going up, so can't say I'm excessively happy for him. But he's scaling up and skilling up.

There will be no war and you will not need to defend yourselves. ECOWAS are a ragtag bunch of countries with third-world problems. Since you all are doing great and the people are happy, keep the momentum

Well, the refinery project was a cornerstone of the APC-campaign that reinforced the criminal power heist so Poseidon could take an excursion on the seat. If the refinery has gulped up to that cost on paper, he could easily claim it was used for the refinery. Do you expect Poseidon to do anything about it?

Na the junta appoint the Governor of your state
Yes, for sure. A seven-man panel of the Supreme Court led by former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Ibrahim Muhammad Tanko, on January 14, 2020, nullified the governorship election of Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State, declaring Hope Uzodinma as governor.

And their acton movie fell like a pack of cards as expected. Donald Duke revealed that judges who delivered a judgment that made “a candidate who came fourth the winner of an election” have been refused visas to attend a judges’ conference in the US.

It will only take time. We watched until 2023 to you eat your words before 2015. We are still here. We will remind you.

No.

Just like how you may no longer be able to discern truth from lies after living in a castle of lies for 10 years and counting.

You can cheat and lie your way to power but only a leader knows how to wield it. In the end, the thief always cries amidst riches.

I won't blame the bricklayer though. I will blame the NPF for not siting their barracks near Atlantic Ocean.

Poseidon would have renovated it as a side hustle when he was taming the ocean.

Now I understand what the bribes are for. If they keep waiting for the government, their barracks may end up like the refineries in Nigeria. Hence, they have to do a cross-border on-field fundraising to boost their Internally-Generated-Revenue.

Quick thinking cool

Oh.. So sad.

Nigerians over here are having a field day with three-square meals and absolute peace. grin

On a more serious note though, news should be left for smart people to cook. Maladministration, which includes mishandling of the jihadists insurgency are part of the reasons the coupists gave as the reason for their intervention.

This news is supposed to be an attack on the coupist, but it begins with a reason that justifies their intervention.

Amid Niger's political crisis, citizens of the west African nation are struggling to get by day to day.
Many who fled their homes due to jihadist attacks have ended up in the country's capital Niamey, where they are trying to find food and work.

If this isn't for propaganda or PR, who is Asare Asare, the journalist for Daily Post?

Can anyone provide his LinkedIn account? Twitter Page? or Facebook account that validates the journalist as a 'real person'?

Even on Muck Rack, described as a site for PR pros, where this post surfaced 2 hours ago, before finding its way to Daily Post 15 mins ago it's a faceless avatar that represents the person.

Actually, all of the News from Asare Asare on Daily Post originated at Muck Rack, a PR site, before being transported to Daily Post. So, when the source is traced, it's an anonymous post on a site that doesn't give two f**ks about what anyone chooses to do there.

OP, Whiteangel1234, who is Asare Asare? Any hints? Are you one and the same? 😁😁

PoliticsRe: When Will Dangote Refinery Be Ready by DesChyko: 7:13am On Aug 20, 2023
We have 4 refineries as Nigerians but are fixated on a private one owned by a citizen.

We are our problems. I'm certain since we are certain of saving 400bn monthly from petrol subsidy, under the right administration, a roadmap would have been crafted and prioritised as to how those refineries will be revived using the vast majority of these funds.

I guess you're new here for one reason or the other. Acidosis is one of us who shouted from mountain tops pre-2015 that Buhari will undoubtedly ruin Nigeria because he has nothing to offer. CrimeFUNAAB Students And Alumni Behind Ponzi Schemes, Forex Scams And MMM In Nigeria? by DesChyko(op): 9:39pm On Aug 19, 2023
An X user, 👑S.A.L.A.K.O🕊 who goes by the handle @UnkleAyo has dropped a controversial revelation that most of the ponzi schemes, forex scams and MMM-like frauds in Nigeria are being perpetrated by FUNAAB students or ex-students.

In his exact words

"I'm going to ditch statistically accuracy and throw numbers in the air.
60% of ponzi schemes, forex scams and MMM lookalikes in Nigeria have been executed by present or ex students of FUNAAB.
What is in the waters of FUNAAB that engineers her students to fraud?

Personally, I will like to assume that this is a wild claim, as with most random statistics. However, his comment happened to generate some interesting reactions:

@Tola_niii prefers to have another term for them: "They are not fraudsters. They are INVESTORS !!"

@_MumJeans claims to have fallen a victim: "FUNAAB boys that are not criminals aren’t up to 40%! Till today, my 2.6m still dey one werey hand 😫🤦🏾‍♀️ and I was on my own o, na another omo werey use him own koba me."

@TheOgbeniOpa was of the opinion that those were in the past: "Luckily, these sets has been moved on few yrs ago and many have also learnt their lessons. Some in the hard way though. Some didn't live long enough to learn though."

Over to our FUNAAB graduates/undergraduates. What is the element of truth is this? Accept or Disregard?

Lol.

Right now, we're not just cutting our coat according to our cloth. We've taken over the tailor's hustle and are doing cut and join with our old coats.

I went to buy some goodies for my wife and kids from the mall closest to me. Omo.. I sha buy the usual ice cream and cookies I normally get for them. When dem give me bill, the total was not totalling. I sha paid and collected receipts only to see that the cost of each bowl of ice cream has increased by over 50%.

Well, that was the last day I bought ice cream.

God no go shame us.😁

If it's about being Igbo, them he is right to be proud of Igbo's achievement. You making it to become about him personally is no longer in tandem with the topic.

When I travel home and see the mega structures my brothers are putting up in our hometown after pulling down the old ones, I am really proud of that and spare no moment to show it off to others as my brothers' achievement.

More importantly, I'm motivated to replicate the feat and stay true to my grind. The opposite of that is envy. Envy is not good. Motivation is better.
