Thank you for explaining the meaning of Gbaju e. It is widely believed that something like this is prominent in Igboland right? What is the Igbo term for it? Wayo? 419? All imported terms. Such things have no roots in Igbo culture. Uwa bu paw paw mehn yo 😎 |
Emem Nnanna Usoro is the 'Go and verify' kind of portfolio. I like. |

The United Arab Emirates has contradicted claims by the Nigerian government that it is lifting a year-long visa ban on Nigerian travelers. “There are no changes on the Nigeria/UAE travel status so far,” an official from the Gulf state told CNN. The source asked not to be named because he is not authorized to speak to the media. In a notice last October, the UAE said it would no longer issue visas to citizens from Nigeria and 19 other African nations. It did not provide further details. Obtaining a 30-day tourist visa was relatively easy until the UAE abruptly stopped issuing visas to Nigerian nationals. Flights between both countries were stopped last year after Dubai’s Emirates Airline suspended its operations in Nigeria, citing trapped revenues. The carrier said it could not access and repatriate its funds, amounting to $85 million withheld in Nigeria. Earlier this week, Bola Tinubu met with UAE leader Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, where both men “finalized a historic agreement,” according to a statement released by the Nigerian government. The government said in the statement that the agreement paved the way for the lifting of the visa ban, including the immediate resumption of flights between both countries. “Furthermore, by this historic agreement, both Etihad Airlines and Emirates Airlines are to immediately resume flight schedules into and out of Nigeria without any further delay,” a statement by Nigeria’s presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale said. However, a statement by the UAE government later Monday said both leaders had, during the meeting, “explored opportunities for further bilateral collaboration” with the hope of “reinforcing ties between the UAE and Nigeria,” but did not mention lifting the visa ban or flights restarting. https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/09/15/africa/nigeria-uae-travel-embargo-intl/index.html nlfpmod

Man Utd have a far better return on investment than Man City since the Inception of the PL. That talk of 3 consecutive PL is convenient because they didn't win the the fourth year before, else we will hear 4 consecutive PL. The real question is why stop at 3? Even the headline didn't specify that. City may have been making a profit now, selling off the loot they have accumulated in a short while, that's okay! But no person with real EPL knowledge will be hoodwinked. City actually spent hell to be where they are today, mega money signings on zero balance, poaching and offering players mad money to join, Guardiola alone splashing a billion pounds on defenders, name it. All of these is a result of process across many years. |
Every man has a price after all. Wole Soyinka is not all that, in the end. He went to celebrate “The Lives of Wole Soyinka” in South Africa, but wha made the headlines is not his lives but his interest in the elections, particularly, Peter Obi. As usual, Peter Obi will comment on the respect he has for his 'father', Wole Soyinka, and keep his immaculate hands away from mudslinging. No matter the state of the jungle, a lion will never resort to eating grass. A certain man held in high esteem has been demystified. Every man has his price in the end. Let's move on. |
What part of celibacy or privacy explains the fact that you consented and participated in that video production? Dey whyne yourself. Meanwhile, new meme alert.

According to Wike, Labour Party didn't factor in religion and ethnicity in their politicking, which is why they lost (in their wildest dreams) The same APC supporters applauding Wike's words are the same ones who gaslight OBIdients that their principal plays politics of ethnic bigotry and religion. He whom the gods want to kill, they first make mad. Below is a finished man.

lexy2014:There was a recent press release on the value of imports in Nigeria for Jan - June. The total imports for PMS was put at 1.2bn. Divide that by 6 months, we get about 200bn per month spent importing PMS. Now NNPCL said they've been subsidizing petrol at a rate of 400bn per month. The big question is, what are they subsidizing that with a value twice the product itself?? As per why they haven't been brought to book, it's Nigeria. It's a criminal enterprise. That's why we must fight to uproot the system, if not for ourselves, for our dependents. |
A great step in the right direction. Maybe it will be an overkill but imagine if work is ongoing in all 4 of them at once. Magical! December isn't far off and achieving this deadline will be a great boost to others lying fallow. Only a matter of time before the subsidy fraud dies a natural death. |
The waterways (canal system) in Lagos is actually a goldmine waiting to be tapped. I cross at least 4 of them in my area in a month. Imagine my surprise when I looked up this area on Google Maps and I saw that they were all linked, even out of the area. That could be a viable means of transport if the water flow can be sustained. While we as a community, have to an extent, battled the illegal dumping of refuse, the sale of lands around these canals, building along the canal path and even stoppage of flow of the canals have been a new menace. Hopefully, we get government eye and intervention in this soon. |
kaludestiny10:I guess that went because there is the general assumption that we do not read the details. |
These leaders are quite empty. I can partially understand if you tell a poor man not to go to court; that would be because he's still struggling to feed and Nigeria has little by way of those willing to take up cases pro bone. That's the only sensible reason. But why exactly will you tell a person who can afford legal fees not to go to court? 🤷🏾♂️ |
Poorly done. Blatant and needless Repetition. No images or additional information where there are captions unconnected with the body. This is cringe worthy!

BobbieZion:You have comprehension problems? 🤔 |
Judolisco:Who is u guys if you were part of those who voted him the first time like you claimed? 😌 An ex-serviceman friend of mine once said, 'There is no perfect crime. All crimes have a loophole which leads to its failure' |
Judolisco:It's fine. It's quite normal for people to find a 'sensible' reason to quit when the going gets tough. Although it looks to me, that you quit even before the elections. Not taking anything away from your decision though. It's fine.😎
|
Judolisco:You sound like we will not be getting your own vote next time 😎 |
helinues:Well, there's always an opportunity to educate the half-lettered. Going by the basic errors you've been making in your submissions, I'm not so surprised this flew over your head. Crying more than the bereaved is actually an idiom and not a literal statement. 😎 But like I asked, I hope you have no real problems with Obi heading to the Supreme Court as a patriotic Nigerian? If you're not, what's the point of all these wailings? |
helinues:I don't think he or us is bothered about that. You cannot cry more than the bereaved. So long as he is pursuing this just cause legally, I don't assume you have a real problem with that as a patriotic Nigerian? 😎 |
Earlier this week, on Thursday, he spoke on the PEPC Judgement in a video coverage. Transcript: 1. Yesterday, 6 September 2023, the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) finally delivered its long-awaited judgments on the Petitions challenging the outcome of the presidential election held on 25 February 2023. This judgment was delivered within the statutory time frame under the extant statutes. We acknowledge the Court's contributions to due process and the seeming attempt to strengthen our democracy.
